I can say that I have had a unit since Feb. 2012 there was only an outside unit avail and to make things worse I had to pay for 2 units instead of 1 becuase they couldn't accommodate us. This place is not one I would reccomend. First of all the RODENT issue is a BIG problem we had 90% of our belongings ruined sue to MICE living in our things. who would want mice droppings and URINE, yes urine all over there stuff. And to top things off a ubit we only had gardening things and 2 bags of clothes had Cockroaches in them. this is unacceptable They did away with the bait boxes another store advised me they thought they had the issue under control. far from it. I also agree They do not send out there statement the same day they are printed and both Pat and Danielle can be anything but sympathetic, I was told a clain should be done, and I hope this is taken seriously becuase now my kids are suffering the most. very dissatisfied with service, I also spoke to the area manager Brian and he too didn't seem too concerned. we also noticed 1 bait box per row, as if that will really help the cause. NO Joke with this...

Finally getting my stuff out of storage is bitter sweet. I'll miss going to pay my bill and seeing Stacey and Bree.
They go above and beyond to help you in a difficult time of needing storage. And always make you feel comfortable no matter how bad your day!

Dan Schultz who was the manager of the store was very great with me. After trying to rent from several storage facilities he was able to give us a great rate along with excellent customer service. He answered any questions we asked, and after talking to him for a while we were very comfortable renting a space within his facility. I am very pleased. I would absolutely refer this location to friends and family!!!!

Sheridan location is a model example of how a business should run. Grounds are clean and upkept. The staff is professional and courteous. Excellent customer relationship qualities. Stacy is extremely accommodating and wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for 5 star service.

Pretty Good Service. I met with someone name Robert and was able to a well sized storage at an affordable price.

I run a small business and it got too large for my garage so I went to this location for some extra space. I could not be happier with the service. It is clean and the staff is very accommodating and the prices... the best in town, and I shopped around before deciding. My business has taken off even more since. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great place to store your stuff and has climate control and security person

Before you rent from these vultures, you should know that you can't simply use that old padlock you've got lying around. Unless you own a cylinder lock (and odds are you don't), you'll end up buying their absurdly overpriced lock for $17.

Formerly 5 stars. Now 1.
I have a climate controlled, indoors.
Came in to our unit to pick up Christmas gifts I had hidden, to my unit having water seeped in to our unit from the left side and front.
Water all along from the left wall to about mid way through our unit.
It's now Christmas eve, I don't know the full extent of damage, and now I gotta wait til the 26th before anyone will be here to care. I will keep updates. Once situation is rectified I will return to previous rating.

I went to inquire about renting a unit the manager Doug was kind informative and helped me through the process he even made sure I got all of the specials that were available and eligible for. I would recommend this location to anyone needing a safe and reliable place to store their items.

Like the location and the people are nice who work there.Stacey does her job well and is very helpful which is one of the reasons I continue to use Life Storage and recommend it to anyone looking for storage unit.

Eric was an amazing and helped me find the storage that best fit. Very friendly and informative about the storage.

We have been using Life Storage for the past 15 months. We are currently storing our travel trailer there. We have found Stacey Howard to be an excellent manager of this large facility. Her assistant manager, Breann Heim has also been outstanding. They are always readily available to solve problems and assist their customers with individual attention. As an RV owner, we searched for a facility that would provide a secure place for our large travel trailer and this facility fit the bill. They not only have security cameras, but the Tonawanda Police routinely patrol through the grounds. Recently, we discovered that the front security gate was missing. The staff informed us that it was being repaired after a truck hit it. They also stated that: "we have security guards on the premises at night until the gates are re-installed." We were amazed that a storage facility would undertake this added expense to maintain this degree of security and a customer's peace of mind. We researched the cost of storing our RV at Life Storage versus other less expensive facilities. What we found was that the cost difference was very small and when you factor in your peace of mind, the great security obtained for your vehicle, and great staff - it's well worth it!!

Very professional, knowledgable and friendly staff. I had an unusual situation and their regional manager allowed them to break their own policy to help me out of a jam, saving me a great deal of money. I dealt with Stacey, the manager, and Breann, who was new but really knew what she was doing. The units are clean and secure and the property is well-lit and maintained. I recommend this location to anyone who wants a friendly, hassle-free experience!

This location is top notch. Very clean, 24 hour access and above all, the staff at this location makes the entire experience very pleasant. Life storage is the only storage facility that we use and recommend.

I looked all over Buffalo for a clean, safe, and affordable storage place. Life Storage on Sheridan Drive is notches above the rest.
The manager took her time to take me on the tour of the facility with care and knowledge of what I needed. For I had to store numerous antique furniture.
I would recommend Life Storage on Sheridan Drive not only because the facility is clean, safe, affordable, and convenient BUT mostly because the staff there go above and beyond in terms of customer service.
I'm sure to be a client for quite some time there.

Rented a unit over summer break while I was away from UB. The employee that helped me purchase the unit stayed past the advertised closing time so that I could pack the unit that night, which was great as I didn't have much time between then and my flight out of Buffalo.

There were some spiders in and around the furniture, and the key-coded gate stopped working the night I loaded my truck (though I was still able to enter), but the experience was good overall.
