I was a temporary worker there and was assaulted by a security guard. Upper management could care less . You re disposable to these people. Go somewhere where you will be appreciated an your voice will be heard.
Been there last week and its very disappointing. The staff were so rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.
My experience here was terrible. Every person I spoke to was rude and was not helpful.
I have worked here for a couple of years and my best advice is to stay away if you want to be treated with respect for yourself and your personal time. They do not care about you as a person and will use you and use you until you are burnt out. There is no regard for personal time and you are expected to sacrifice your own time at the drop of a hat. Management plays favorites and it s blatantly obvious by how different employees are treated. It was a much different environment when I started but it had rapidly evolved into one of the most toxic workplaces I have ever experienced and I am looking for every possible way out.
If LifeNet reads this, I highly suggest that you reevaluate the changes being made on departmental and organizational levels or you will start losing valuable employees who know their worth is greater than how you are treating them.
Unfortunately, I cannot leave a 5 star review. There is so much going on especially on the OVERNIGHT MS shift. There is workplace bullying towards the "new" or less experienced and extreme favoritism for the "senior" or more experienced techs. Nothing is being done in order to prevent this from happening as many techs(myself included) have been bullied and I have been called the "R" word by an experienced tech. In addition, it is because the team leads on that shift do not care and have their list of "favorites" that they are willing to protect AND put in higher management positions. Upper management is easily misguided because they do not have the experience so they go along with what the team leads(who have their favorites) are saying rather than the techs who are working hard! I am so glad I got away from this place because they do NOT care about the individuals who ACTUALLY work hard! Many of the "senior" techs are lazy and skate by doing the bare minimum. Please if you are considering working here, please do no apply to overnight ms. I have changed my license from organ donor because of how nasty my experience was. I will never donate and will NEVER advocate for it especially through Lifenet.
I love what Life Net is all about. They have been wonderful to my Aunt who lost her young son. I have been there several times for special workshops (i.e. scrapbooking, etc.) they provide for grieving family members. Very nice staff and volunteers.
My review is going to be lengthy. Working here has been one of the biggest challenges I have faced. When I was first hired, I was excited and thirsty for the opportunity for growth as lifenet "promotes" for hard workers. However, after 6 months you will start to see what is and isn't the case. It is all about who you know and how much you kiss your supervisors coat tail. I work in MS (2-10 pm) and I will say this shift is better than overnight MS as I read reviews online about past experiences and talking with some techs myself. However, we have many issues that are not addressed by HR or upper management and it makes it seem like HR doesn't care and only wants to protect the red wings and could care less about harassment or complaints from techs. Our manager is NOT someone who actually cares about the company or others in general. He takes out his frustration and his projections of himself out on the technicians and his demeanor is unapproachable and the way he speaks to certain individuals is just degrading and down right disrespectful. He will take away opportunities and promotions from individuals who actually work hard and will work those individuals into the ground. You are gossiped about amongst supervisors if you say "no" to one task and have completed all the other tasks they have given and forced upon you. The team leads are okay; however, one will clock in and talk and laugh it up for 2 hours or more doing their job and then go to the back pretending to do work and also shows extreme favoritism to the people who goof around and talk about video games, football, women etc and tells information about other employees to another and buys food for his favorite etc. Certain senior techs are pushed to the max while others can just do what they want because "I'm a senior tech". And they let certain senior techs treat their coworkers horribly(makes sense...just like our manager) Read the reviews on glassdoor and the recent google reviews. They are not lies
