Again. Only walked past the Cathedral - as we do every day - on our way to Stowe pool for a bit of wildlife feeding....

I go there to visit my parents and brothers grave on anniversaries. Beautiful serene place to visit

Very nice square out the front with lovely old houses. Also has a room for kids to play which is a nice touch and allows parents to look around on their own.

We enjoyed our visit, especially the stained glass windows at the east end and the story of Chad, the first bishop.

A stunning, medieval Cathedral that is well worth a visit. Brimming with history and beautiful architecture!

Imposing and impressive. Great to see it in such active, current use. Despite the somewhat foreboding first impression from the outside, there is a welcoming tone in the place.

It was easy to become absorbed in the splendor and beauty of this Cathedral. A guided tour to include the roof is highly recommended.

Open. A wonderful retreat and a place to reflect on difficult times.

This is the most stunning cathedral I think I have ever been to. I honestly was blown away by its beauty. The exquisite detail was just AMAZING. I would highly recommend a visit. I can image at Christmas time it's the most beautiful place to be in Litchfield.

The only three spire cathedral, I believe, in England.

I'm not religious but the level of detail in the architecture is heavenly. Free entree but recommend giving a donation to help keep such a beautiful building which welcomes all types of people regardless of belief. Staff were fantastically welcoming too. Made to feel like a family member going to visit a relative. A+ on all counts.

The stain glass windows are beautiful and the journey they had to get there is a fascinating story. Dr Samuel Johnson's portrait by Josiah Reynolds was good to see close up .

Visited as they reopened after the lockdown, not everything was accessible but they did their best and wonderful guides available to help

Fantastic cathedral! So much interesting history and a beautiful setting!

A wonderfully beautiful building, both inside and out (three spires, and what a facade!).

It also has a fascinating history, especially around the English Civil War, and some very old artefacts, including St. Chad's Gospel of 730AD.

It's close is very pretty, and it's in a pretty part of quite a pretty city.
