I try to shop locally. The staff is nice and there are a lot of choices,even in English and German for all ages. You can also buy some toys and games.

I guess it's about luck, or lack of it, but I sadly had a pretty bad experience at the foreign languages section of the store. I was looking for a couple of books for kids and was clearly very lost and no one offered any help, despite the shop being quite empty at the time. Then when I finally asked for help, the clerk was quite short and unhelpful. Also, their selection was seemingly quite poor. To top it up, I had to wait for ages at the till too, as one cashier was on the phone (on what didn't seem like a professional call), while the other was having an extensive chat to a very talkative customer (who, from her point of view, I'm sure would give the store a very good review!). I'm just saying - there's a reason why I do most of my book shopping on Amazon, and I hate to be proven right the few times I dare enter a physical book store in need of actual assistance. So maybe don't miss those few chances you get to provide it, or else stop moaning about Amazon stealing all of your business...

Great choice of books, especially comic books on the first floor. Nice bookstore atmosphere and many staff recommendations that show they read and liked what they sell. Highly recommended!

Great library, one of the best. Three floors, great choice, one floor with a huge choice of comics, illustrated and art books. Everybody is lovely. You will have a good moment

A great library if you are bilingual or love learning languages. Lots of great quality books for both adults and children. They are quite expensive, though.

My favourite bookshop in Strasbourg. As a local, i always go there when i am back.

I just went to buy dairies for my kids. But it is big and people are friendly.
