A beautiful, interactive place, with thematic rooms all interesting. It is expensive at the entrances, but it is worth leaving all day. You don't finish seeing everything and playing with so many things that they have. Very very educational

The food and gift shop are extremely overpriced, but otherwise, it was a lot of fun for both kids and adults! The IMAX Dome theater is the biggest in the world, and the exhibits are varied and very engaging, with something on every floor. Members get added benefits, including BASF Lab and other local events occuring in the science center. Make sure you check the times for many cool shows to watch in the 3-D and IMAX Theaters!

Great place to visit. It's very educational & hands on which the kids absolutely love. I would definitely recommend a trip with the family. There is so much to do. Be forewarned though... it can be a bit pricey especially the food & gift shop. Other than that everything else is great.

We brought the kids here before heading to see the Statue of Liberty. They had an amazing time. So much hands on activities for them. My sons are 8,6, and 2 and they all loved it. We got a good deal on Groupon. I wish we could have spent more time. We only had about 2 hours to spend here but they could have stayed much longer than this. The restrooms were very clean and the staff friendly.

We've taken our family here several times, and we are never bored here! Particular favorites are the dinosaur dig, the infinity climber, and the touch tunnel. I recommend coming later in the day if you can only do part of a day. The Planetarium is huge and very neat, so probably worth a show viewing. We really enjoyed the Lego exhibit that was on display.

Best place to inspire young minds to get interested in STEM! There are plenty of shows on science which is our favorite. They also provide facilities for hosting BDay parties. I have not used that option. I know they have it.

Definitely not the Library Science Center I remember going to as a high school student. Many things have changed since the last time I was there. Their tribute to the World Trade Centre in the skyscraper exhibit is touching and fantastic. It is a bit more geared towards kids with the addition of the Arthur exhibit but my daughter still enjoyed it and so did my family. Also their food place has a good variety and is actually pretty good.

One of the best science centers in the country. There are lots of exhibits that appeal to a wide range of ages. The outdoor space with the Dino dig and playground area is an excellent addition to the usual science museum attractions. Having exhibits across 4 floors made it feel spacious and less crowded than it definitely was.

If you haven t take. You child here it s really a must. Great way to spend 4 hours exploring a child s curiosity and learning about new hints. Lots of parking.

Does tend to eat very crowded during the school year with all of the field trips but there is still plenty to do. Great weekend visit

Every time I bring my kids there I say it's the last time. Then a year goes by and I forget how dirty and overpriced it is. During the summer it's over run by campers. During the school year it's swamped with school field trips. I hope by writing this review I'll remind myself next year that it's not worth it.

This a great family friendly venue. I encourage anyone from all walks of life to enjoy the day here. Children of all ages have a great time and learn. It s an overall empowering experience. Even parents have a good time. The skyscrapers exhibit is amazing and interactive. The newly renovated planetarium is awesome. In warmer weather they open up outdoor exhibits. All in all great experience and never have to worry about weather concerns.

Here is review..
1. The ticket they charge for entry is too costly. We visited on long weekend with bank of America debit card the entry is free. Still 3 people we end up paying around 50 usd for buying planetorium tickets. We don't know when entry was free what are they charging for.
2. The planetorium is only place to visit because its one of big one on western region.
3. They are tickets to buy for certain rides. We already paid this much then why do we pay for tickets.
4. The animal section is good one. Kids can enjoy there.
5. Rest of places are ok. Not much fun.
6. Food is good.
7. Overall is ok place to visit with free entry tickets. Your kids can have fun.
8. There is not value for money.

I went to see the International Sherlock Holmes exhibit. Both the ticket cashier and the docents were friendly and seemed emergized, though it was the last couple hours of the day. One, Mr. Ray, even let me borrow his pen for my whole walk-around (when mine died)! The exhibit itself was well organized and fascinating, being both Exhibit and Interactive Crime Scene. I'm already looking forward to going back to see the permanent exhibits!

Good place to take kids, but keep expectations tempered. Exhibits are very neat and often are educational, but not all well maintained. A lot of things were not working properly, etc. Defeats the purpose of the hands on educational aspect. There are 4 floors, but unfortunately only 2 floors of activities. The other floors are special exhibits and entrance/ticketing/gift shop.

Lots of things to do with kids. About 1/3rd of it requires additional fee to do above the entry price. We stuck with the included stuff and spent a good 3-4 hours there and see just about everything.

The exhibits that are displayed, that you can access with general admission, has been the same for the last 4 years including the robotics display that has been under construction for that long. There are new exhibit$ that require additional ticket$ to be purchased. I paid approximately $60 (family of 4) + $7 parking to view tired, worn, and old displays. To view the new displays and shows, it would have cost roughly an additional $40 dollars. Lastly, they are robbing you in their food court. ($5 for a bottle of water...need I say more)

i don t appreciate that you guys charge for the lockers. Then after i already paid , i need to pay again if i want to relock my locker. So basically you have to make sure you have everything you don t want to carry in your locker and if you change your mind you re screwed because you have to pay to relock your locker. WHY NOT JUSY ALLOW ME TO BRING MY OWN LOCK.

Went mainly for the planet shows but was a bit disappointed. One was just a live show w/ someone talking about the constellations & wasn't so much a movie as I thought. The 2nd show, beyond the universe, was traveling to the planets & seeing photos from probes that have landed & from hubble. Was a bit more interesting but I have seen better planet shows on TV. Mainly just went for the experience of IMAX.
Something to keep in mind if you visit: there are free shows offered but you need to get tickets from the main ticket line downstairs before you can go to them. Getting the ticket reserves your seat for the time slot you pick. Since I did not know this beforehand, I missed out on what might have been some cool shows. The lines were way too long to wait. They should have that set up differently. The planet shows are not free, I purchased a combo ticket with general admission for those. There is not much else to do there that was of interest for someone who does not have children. Saw the bees exhibit which I enjoyed and also the live animals. Skyscrapers was pretty cool also.

This place was recommended to me as a fun kids experience. We spent HOURS in here, enjoying all the hands-on activities! Four floors of adventure, IMAX theaters, an enclosed, suspended, (netted) climbing feature piece, gift shop, cafeteria with a variety of food (or, I believe you can bring your own), it's no wonder we spent all day here! 4 stars because I feel the cost was steep (more than I typically pay for a kids activity) but well worth it!

My son and I had an amazing time there. There is a lot to do and many cool things to see. The Sherlock Holmes exhibit was interactive and educational. The cafeteria has real food and very healthy choices. I would normally prepack a lunch but this was a last minute decision and a great choice. We will definitely be going back!
