Liberty Mutual went above and beyond during the most heartbreaking time of my life. My homeowners claim was handled immediately. Communication on the progress could have been a bit better but overall it was a good experience.
A driver with liberty mutual insurance caused a multi car accident involving my daughter. The police cited their driver, multiple witnesses on the police report corroborated that their driver was at fault, yet they are still trying to make a determination a week later. I've been told they will not pay storage on my car that was totaled, and I should put it on my driveway, leaking fluids everywhere. I have provided the police report, witness contact information, and I don't understand why this is such a struggle. This makes me glad I'm with another company for my insurance. They offer a "discount" to employees at my company and I don't know how it could possibly be worth it.
I currently have insurance to this company liberty mutual insurance the prices are fair is the cheapest insurance I can find I called like six or seven other insurance companies and this one is the cheapest one out of all the other ones I called so if you're looking for a good price car insurance company I would definitely recommend this
If I could give a zero Stars I would I called to cancel the rest of my insurance for the month to get my money back when I paid in full the guy who signed me up for my insurance did not have me sign my paperwork for the little plug-in device that helps you get 10% off they charge me during one month in August after sending me letters after I moved that I had not gotten so they wanted $333 out of a month I got $30 back because they sent out letters to me but I never got them but it was dirt guys fault for not have me sign my paperwork or not getting the device and also the guy that did that no longer works with them somebody could have let me know very unorganized and very unhappy would not recommend to anybody for insurance
Never Use Liberty Mutual Insurance. After the first year will jump for no reason without having any claims. If you try to cancel before your policy ends and are covered by another Insurance company they will NOT issue a refund as told but will come up with another bill claiming you changed something days before your cancellation.
Just need better customer service. Not quick to do things.
Most horrible insurance company. Over charged for a car they totalled. Then cancelled readded as a child then told its all my fault because of the wreck due to mechanical malfunction
In an emergency situation it can take nearly an hour to get through to road side assistance. That is after you speak to three different departments and have to get the run around for twenty to thirty minutes before hand. I understand why the policy rate for this insurer was so low.
If could give zero stars I would! I purchased a new VW Tiguan a few weeks ago and liberty mutual kept sending me mail saying they could save me $800/year. I finally called to inquire about potential savings. The man had all my information already somehow and stated my quote would be 'good until midnight tonight at $120/mo' and that they could send me a device to put in my windshield to use for 3 months to get an additional savings based on my driving during that time. He asked what I currently paid a month and I told him $150/mo so $120/mo sounded like a great deal! I was set and hooked and got my checkbook out and ready to pay and he stated it's $1,386 today and your next payment will be July. Obviously I said July 2020, right, I will be paying yearly instead of monthly I guess? He said no, that will be this July! Uh no! No, thanks! He kept saying $120/mo for a year later to find out that would be in ADDITION TO $1,386! Obviously, this place is a scam! How can you tell me over and over my monthly insurance would be $120/mo when in actuality it would've been more than $250/mo?! Obviously, I was NOT interested in their falsified quote, not appreciated with the sneaky tactics and definitely did not appreciate them wasting my time with that scam like behavior from what I thought was a reputable business! Out of curiosity I looked up their complaints on the consumers website after declining their shake down and they have over 1,300 complaints! Ick!! Extremely sneaky tactics!! Stay away from the sneaky tactics liberty mutual plays.

Honestly best insurance I've ever had and will likely never change companies. They worked with me on payments. They have accident forgiveness and take care of everything when your in such a horrible situation. I got late on payments being behind. .any other company would have cut me off . .they worked with me and was understanding about it. They truly go the extra mile least for me they have. Been upfront, honest, patient, being a solid company I enjoy doing business with. Pains me to see any reviews lower then 5star! Bc from personal experience they have been nothing but outstanding. #loyalcustomer
Also, just on a side note. .I reviewed other companies to see if I could get better rates. Only to have other companies tell me I had the best insurance rate n policy out there. Thank you Liberty Mutual!
Locked keys in vehicle in Feb.. called for roadside assistance no one ever showed up and LM never even called to check if I received service .. after a 3 hour wait.

I've never had a wreck in my 40 years of living but yet my insurance keeps going up way to high "because of the drivers around me". It's always a reason that has nothing to do with me personally. I do not like this company anymore.

They owe me $5000 for adding an extra driver that I never approved of and can't get a supervisor to call me!! Pitiful and after all of these years I've invested with this company.

Had to use the roadside assistance. Thankfully it is a service provided free with Liberty Mutual Insurance. Great response time! Professional customer service representative when I called for assistance.
Rude and don't care. They want you to call mainly with no email or chat trail to track which is fine but then they don't honor what is promised on the phone and treat you like a fool and liar in the end.

Asked for a quote on homeowners. Never chose Liberty Mutual, went with another company at a much better rate. Several months later, I receive a bill for $833 and my payments are all rolled into one. So why and how liberty mutual could send me a bill, not sure. Sounds like cramming and slamming, which is illegal. After multiple attempts on emailing proof of the used insurance company and policy info, I am still waiting for this to be cleared up. Just received an email saying that address is wrong on documentation. LOL, just told the representative to scroll down please. I don't need homeowners on a address with an apartment number. Conclusion, never chose liberty mutual and still have provided terrible service.

Ready to go for my lawyer and for worker compensation hearing- The company provided us with the claim numbers and all info needed as well the name of the Person in charge AMY RODEN at the main office. For some reason this person is very low class and far from professional can t do her work. Sounds like was trained to be that way seriously lol. Having faith won t work they have 1,201 complaints I found in consumer affairs. We called AMY RODEN SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR AND ALL WE GOT IS HER VOICEMAIL LEAVING CLAIM NUMBERS AND INFO EXPECTING HER TO CALL BACK AND DO HER WORK WAS TO MUCH TO ASK FOR A YEAR- LETTERS EVERYTHING TRIED, NO ANSWER EVER OR ANY PIECE OF MAIL TO OUR ADDRESS. THE HOSPITAL AND DOCTORS HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE AND MAIL US A DETAILED LETTER ABOUT THEIR POOR EXPERIENCE TRYING TO CONTACT THIS HUMAN BEING TOO. NO RESPONSE EVER- WE EVEN SENT LETTERS TO THE MANAGER EXPLAINING THE SITUATION AS ADVISED. YESTERDAY WE WERE INFORMED BY SOMEONE ELSE BY PHONE WHEN HE CHECK THE CLAIM NUMBER OH THIS CASE WAS CLOSED . WHAT DO YOU MEAN CASE WAS CLOSED? WHAT THAT MEANS? WE HAVE NEVER BEEN CONTACTED IN ANY WAY- WE BEEN IGNORED AND THAT MAN IN CHARGE OF ANSWERING THE MAIN CALLS DIDNT WANT TO ANSWER ANYTHING ELSE- PLAYED DUMB. WRONG PPL YOU GUYS CHOOSE LIBERTY MUTUAL.
