The drivers are rude and does not know anything about the bua they are driving always late and can not drive at all

Bus drivers are rude, the people are weird downtown. Theirs a lot of homeless and people with mental illness get on the bus. But i have seen more Bus drivers be rude to the homeless and people with mental illness. And i don't like it. And buses have been making people late for work, and the last time i got on the bus i asked a bus driver. What time the buses leave, and she told me, " i don't know, just sit down and wait." And ended up being two hours late for work.

Buses tend to run on time. Not overcrowded, but the 2 tier schedule structure can mean a very long wait if on the second tier and the first tier has already left. Bottom line is allow a two and a half transit time if you are going somewhere, even if it's a ten minute ride by car, can mean more than a two hour ride for the bus. The bus service does not seem to cater to the working people, but to those that are on disability, retired, or not working.
Weekend service is worse. Prepare for over an hour layover at the transit center if you are on a different tier schedule. I had a bus show up four minutes early and the driver kept going, meaning because this is Saturday, another hour and ten minute wait. Sunday, would have been worse
If you can find another way to get somewhere, try that. I hope that sometime in the future that Lexington gets a real bus service and realize people time is important.

Wow these people don't care about their clients at all. They make changes and they don't even know what is going on. Extremely sad. Hope I never have to use them again!!!!!!!!!

Lextran is pretty good for the most part...the only issue I really have is some bus drivers are rude and inconsiderate, but this only applies to a very few couple of drivers. Lextran will get you there when you have no other transportation.

The employees and staff work very hard on a daily basis under a variety of conditions.

Usually on time and clean, what out for the occasional crazy think though. Lol

Gets me where I need to go and home for cheap... although it does take a long time...

Drivers are nice and welcoming but I wouldn't say the same about some of the passengers

The worst form of transportation in Lexington. Seek out any other source to get somewhere other than Lextran.

Never on time due to bad scheduling, customer service has an attitude, packed with people, seats need to be changed, dirty transit center. Only good part are the drivers. They are really great.

I love the bus however routes take too long. 1 and a half hours to go about 7 to eight miles.

Great lextran services security on site at terminal clean. Friendly i use the buss.

Disrespectful drivers,drivers lack of knowledge of the route they drive,and the workers in the booth giving you wrong advice and putting people on the wrong bus instead of just admitting they simply don't know!

An ok transit system, but I have a few complaints...
There aren't enough routes, a lot of the buses are old and in disrepair, not to mention many routes only have one bus running on them at any given time; so your wait could be quite lengthy, so if you're planning to get somewhere across town in the afternoon; it would be a good idea to leave in the early morning... Also if you miss your bus, by only a few seconds, especially at the transit center; just wait for the next bus. Trust me the drivers WILL run you over, and that meeting you just have to make it to is not worth your life..
Some positive points though include, a MOSTLY friendly staff, a newly renovated transit center; although does not include the restrooms which do not even offer a lockable stall, which is part in do the the help of the attending populous.
All in all, it beats walking!

Wish the #14 ran on the weekend. Students have classes and other events on weekends and staff uses the 14 too. Drivers are friendly especially the drivers on the 14 & 15.

Very good drivers they are very polite I enjoy every trip I'm on vacation here, I'm from Venezuela

The drivers a rude they will pass you up if they can

This place is great, if you like the smell of urine and cigarettes.

Bus driver was very friendly, but Counter Clerks did not seem so friendly. They did not greet customers with a smile and friendly disposition. The customers were greeted with frowning "How can I help you", and short answers as not to be bothered.

Convenient. Affordable. Consistent. Half of the drivers are professional and polite

Very reliable transportation. Cheap to ride. Bus drivers are nice and polite.

Pretty easy to figure out. The driver's are usually fun to talk to. Just takes a while to get where your going.

They get me where I need to go. How much more could you ask of a transit company?

Scheduling could be better but all in all you need to get somewhere it's good.

Worst transportation system ever! Always late and the buses run every hour and 10 mins on weekend so it makes it impossible to go anywere sat-sun.

though,in a smaller city LEXTRAN has it goin on. most major streets have twice hourly service and the overall system has fair coverage. if riding from some areas outside manowar, a cross town trip might involve a short walk or up to 3 busses.

The customer service is definitely LACKING! (Certain) Bus drivers are RUDE and MISINFORMING (not knowing basic questions regarding catching the bus on certain routes). The nasty attitudes from some drivers and the front desk service. Dealing with the public can be frustrating but CUSTOMER SERVICE and PUBLIC SERVICE SHOULD COME FIRST, but is lacking. Some drivers are EXCELLENT and INFORMATIONAL, VERY HELPFUL. some drivers need to drive a CAB not a BUS, and need to leave their bad attitude in their car in the parking garage !

You can't beat 1$ per scoop of food when it's a large ass scoop that's more like 2 or 3 scoop in one.

Very time consuming a lot of rude drivers ( some really nice ones to though) not enough Rout's. It's gets you where you're going.

Absolutely the worst part of Lexington! Be prepared to be harrassed by our local vagrants!

The Worst and I mean the worst customer service ever at the transit center. Mary was asleep at the window and very rude to me! You know there's prejudice in black people to and that's what I felt from Mary... She Should Be Fired!!!!!

On time but needs to have service in all areas earlier.

If you're a student and need to get to a destination quickly, you're more likely to reach it faster by walking than taking a Lextran bus. Especially if you live on the Red Mile route, expect a bus once every 15 minutes on an exceptionally good day.

2 years ago some driver were nice and wanted to help you, those thing now don t even want to hear you that s Sad how HR suck on this company.

I got a cady CTS car and I still ride the bus on a 30 day pass

Unreliable. Before 7 am they are great, but after that the schedule is unpredictable. Also no way to get across downtown without a transfer. On the plus side, they have racks on the front of the buses to take your bike, and it's free for UK employees with an ID.
Recent experience: Waited on the #5, which was scheduled at 9:24 and again at 9:39 at my stop. I was at the stop at 9:20 and finally saw my bus at 9:44. I wish I could say this was an isolated occurrence, but unfortunately the buses are frequently late.

Busses don't run often enough and sometimes they come early

It's a public bus so it's helpful but they do stupid things and are always late
