It's the hub of Lexington bus lines. Best place to go for information on the transit lines they offer.

Terrible service. Bus drivers skip stops. Buses run late. It's faster to walk than use this janky "public service."

An expansion to Georgetown would be nice or a full upgrade to an above ground subway like the Marta system in atlanta would be impressive.

Usually we have no problem with the bus. My boyfriend and I live downtown and share a car so one of us will have to ride the bus fairly often. The rates are cheap, the routes are much faster than they are in our home town, and they go pretty much anywhere in the city or close enough. However training needs to be done better. I have been on several buses where the driver nearly hits cars constantly, they seem to struggle with staying in their lane rather than riding the line, and twice now they have told my boyfriend false information. Once was that a bus didn t go to a stop that was mapped on the LexTran website for that route. The second time was that they don t take certain coins for payment that I myself have used multiple times. So service is decent, the drivers just need to be informed and trained better.

Okay but the times suck they should have buses every fifteen mins

For one I hate riding bus four the Albanian bus driver constantly harasses me and my husband, two the buses are always late an take way to long to pull out, three my bus don't run like all the others I either have to walk two miles down Broadway n then catch the bus on Saturday and Sunday, or from 10-1:50 Monday through Friday if I need to go to work, finally I understand the busses need to fill up bit during that hour have a second set of buses run you all are driving what could be a great company in the ground

Pulled up to drop someone off, was not aware that our car could not be there. A man in his 40 s or 50 s with blue eyes, Caucasian with a walkie and a black cap on proceeded to approach our car and I roll my window down. He rudely says, can I help you? I answer with no sir, we are dropping someone off right now. He then answers with, what you are doing will put you in jail, I suggest you move out of the way and go about your business.
The car was not parked, car is still on, we hadn't even been there for a whole minute letting our friend out of the car and we were not aware that our car could not be there as we have never used the transit center. He could have been more professional and given us a friendly warning but instead he threatened us with jail time and rudely told us to get out of the way. I am offended and the way he handled the issue was unnessary and uncalled for. Will be telling a lot of people about this. Terrible first encounter of the transit center and I have seen some other reviews about how rude other workers are. This issue should be taken care of immediately.

Best way get around when you have trouble or no car at all
