Wow, lovely food, great service and such a lovely place to have a meal and drinks with friends and family.

Solve any queries immediately. We dined in the bar aFew times as the food never failed to disappoint. Great selection of local gins available too. Nearby to some great cliff path walks and down to nearby bays, we were Intrigued by the Island and would like to return to discover more than weve been able to see this time- it was suggested we return in the summer so may well do so- Thankyou for all your hospitality

Good food & choice good parking, dessert price's tables well spaced ,very dark. No wheel chair access. Good service

Food was not as great for vegetarians in a way that could be easily fixed. The plant burger bun was stale and gluten-free (veggies aren't all GF people, it's a totally different thing - why combine them?), whereas people getting meat burgers got brioche buns. Plant burger had roasted pepper and aubergine in it - not really needed - and was served with sweet potato fries. But veggies like normal fries too, we're not just health/plant-obsessed...! The meat-free patty itself was fine - just serve it with a nice bun and some cheese and onions and fries, eh?! Good service though, and nice drinks.

The place can be very hit or miss. On a couple of occasions I've had wonderful food and no issues whatsoever. On others I've had a full blown bill dispute:



Another time the hotel was catering for a large group of people and as such a buffet was provided. The food provided was cold pizza, which was a shame.

I must say though, on the times they get it right it is wonderful, and sometimes the pizzas are top notch. Good atmosphere too. I have given 3 stars to reflect what seems to be a coin flip between 1 star and 5 star experiences.
