Really good quality food. Great execution. Attentive service staff. Overall excellent!

Really good quality food. Great execution. Attentive service staff. Overall excellent!
Nice experience and good food quality. Higher than my expectation.
The Le Homard Bleu En Salade (supplement $60) was a spin on blue lobster salad with pearls of crunchy watermelon and vegetables. It was so fresh and light. La Noix De Saint-Jacques Aux Herbes, or scallop served in a creamy sauce, was seasoned well and super flavorful.
Food taste and presentation was very good. Canapes and amuse bouche was served at start. 4 course lunch was actually quite filling.
First off, the service is impeccable. I've never seen such smooth attentive service in Singapore, and even globally this ranks as one of the top few restaurants I've been to in that regard.
The food was...good? But not great, which is what you would expect for the price you are paying. Some dishes were better than others. Presentation and texture were good all around but flavor didn't quite get there. Hence 4/5 stars overall.
The tasters, bread, and the cheese platter were all excellent. I've never had someone serve me cheese with such passion and knowledge as the young man who did so this evening.
The interior is gorgeous too. Definitely feels swanky throughout. Considering how long Les Amis has been around they've clearly put in effort to keep it looking stellar.
If the price tag doesn't scare you away, this is definitely worth experiencing at least once. But calibrate your expectations around the food appropriately.
Probably one of the best restaurant in Singapore. Service is impeccable and food out of this world. Highly recommended the roasted foie Gras.
Loved all the details! Service, ambience and super food. Highlights: terrine, venison, ice creams and baba al rhum
Awesome meal, amazing service, can t wait to go back
nice selection of french cuisine. The staff was really friendly too.
One of the best French Restaurant in SG. We enjoyed all the food here. Pretty decent price and ambience is very nice. Staff are always attentive.
Excellent dining experience with top class friendly but not overbearing service. The food does not attempt to bulldoze you with over the top flavours or over engineering their food. Delicate and fresh ingredients coupled with excellent sauces and technique. The plating was artistic while also done thoughtfully for how the diner would eat the food (as opposed to artsy plating for the sake of instagram). I particularly enjoyed the deconstructed bernaise sauce where each component had its own distinct taste and you could have each on their own or mix up your own sauce. The desserts were also a stand out, and held their own to the savoury half of the menu. Definitely one of the most beautifully tempered and delicious chocolate tarts I've had. Looking forward to trying the menu for next season.
Le Amis is a big city restaurant oasis to dine and relax. The staff is down-to-earth and professional. The dining room is on the modern but the menu is more traditional and really delicious. The prices are still affordable. One of the best place to dine in Singapore
In my opinion this place is the best French Restaurant in SG, service is impeccable.
For a 3 star restaurant, I think the dishes lacked flair and uniqueness and I was not particularly impressed. I believe other French restaurants can do those dishes equally well. However, their ice cream provided the spark to my experience. It is easily the best ice cream I have eaten in my life. The depth of the flavor and texture is simply unmatched by anything I have eaten before. I will order a 3 course next time and just focus on the ice cream.
Impeccable service by its well trained staff, great selection of dishes, well balanced flavour.
Was a cheapo and went for their set lunch instead of full degustation that we normally do.
Food is always great, loved the scallop in particular, the texture was out of this world! It was confit in lemon? Can t remember. The seaweed herb sauce was cocaine in liquid form, mop it up with your bread.
Oh and the bread, Les Amis legendary bread trolley needs no introduction, so I won t bother talking about it here, you know it s good. Same with their cheese trolley (aaaaand now with added olive oil!)
So was the mushroom tart, mushroom taste was so intense despite being so thinly sliced.
Dessert was great with the mille-feuille and cheese and ice cream. I miss Cheryl s legendary chocolate tart tho :(
Excellent food, excellent service, creative menu, exclusive food selections, they definitely fully deserve their two stars. Wine pairing option definitely worth the experience. Since the first moment you step into the restaurant until you complete your dinner you have the feeling and the certitude you have made the best Restaurant choice in Singapore.
Expensive but great French food. Good for important occasions.
First class restaurant, by far THE BEST service I have ever encountered in Singapore. Food prepared by the chef is a true piece of art on a plate, wonderfully served and scrumptious. Unbelievable harmony of taste and joy every single time I return. Top standard restaurant worth every dollar spent.
Great French restaurant just off Orchard Rd. I enjoyed my dinner here from start to finish. After the truffle crisp snack, the amuse bouche was light and fluffy topped off with aromatic truffle shavings. Next the foie gras was rich and creamy, with the welcome addition of truffle. Both the duck and vension were fine, but I particularly enjoyed the Omi steak and its buttery tenderness. There was a generous assortment of desserts after, my favorite being the pear. In a city marked by rapid change I am glad Les Amis has remained exceptional over the years.
Came here for dinner. Great food. Great service. The friendly and enthusiastic staff will give a brief description of each dish served.
The Damage (no drinks): S $ 400-800 for two
One of the first fine dining French institutions in Singapore currently holding two Michelin stars. We loved the Blue Lobster Roe.
~~ TRY :
// Beef tenderloin
// Blue Lobster Roe
// Sea Urchin Breath
// Foie gras terrine

A little disappointing this Christmas as the staff lack the regular Christmas cheer ...
Went for birthday lunch, had 1 starter, main and dessert. The service and food was extraordinary, really enjoyed each dish as well as the free chef tokens. Well deserving of 3 stars.
Service was genuine and attentive. The food served was really good. They serve classic french cuisine with high quality ingredients. Price is steep but you pay for what you get. Will definitely return!
Good lunch spot for team lunches, or dinner for 2 in the evenings. For classic French cuisine, I this is a good spot. Quality food and presentation. The lunch menu is value for money. There are 2 appetizers (1 cold, 1 hot), a main dish, dessert and petite fours. They do try to source for French ingredients. The white asparagus from provence was superb. Hard to find in Singapore! Love the desserts! Classic French desserts. If you re craving for more sweets, head to Cheryl Koh next door.
One of the most overrated and overpriced restaurant. I spent 200+ bucks for a dinner and was hardly able to finish my dinner. Really regret going there.
Less theatrical but better food than Odette. Venison and ice cream were great!
Their third Michelin Star is deserved and Les Amis is a big city restaurant oasis to dine and relax. The staff is down-to-earth and professional without pretense or guile. The dining room is on the modern extreme but the menu is more traditional and reassuring. The prices are not outrageous or thoughtless. The giant cheese trolley makes it way up and down a short flight of stairs with amazement.
Excellent service, food is more in the traditional side, but you'll get better value for money than other 2 michelin stars in SG.
no nitrogen or other fancy looking dishes, just flavours, caviar, truffle and more.
the wine list is as thick as a phone book but great advice from the sommelier, we had a superb burgundy.
Staff at Les Amis are very attentive and knowledgeable about what goes into and how the food is made. My partner and I had the 2 course+ 1 dessert set lunch. We were glad we didn't order more because it gets very filling when you take into account the amouse bouche, and wide selection of bread and other courses eg pre dessert and petite four that come with your set lunch. We chose the angel hair pasta ( required supplement of 40sgd) and lobster rouelle as appetiser. The lobster was steamed and wrapped in a spinach leaf and was very tasty and surrounded in thick fish bone soup. Main courses we chose were salmon in two ways, and sea bass. For desserts we had baba Rhum and the pistachio mille fielle. For the people who like alcohol in their dessert I would recommend the Baba as the cream mixed with rum, along with the cake soaked in syrup was delicious.
Amazing French food and great service. Great for special occasion!
A shop I went while visiting Asia food tour. Reason not to be on 5 stars
1. Although I should have made a lobster salad, the option to change it was explained as a salad when asked by the staff but it was a salty lobster that seemed to be delicious after all. I was disappointed because I could not explain the lobster of the next table.
2. Main dish is supernormal
3. I asked for dessert that I really wanted to ask! I'm sorry I just ran out of sale! I was told. But as far as I was watching, nobody asked for it
4. I think that wine pageing did not suit
Points I think is wonderful
1. Bakery and cheese cart. Seriously.
2. Chocolate cake is the best. However, salt will be delicious if you put it yourself.
3. The wine list is great if you pay for it
4. Butter may be the most delicious in the world
A shop often used by Japanese residents in Singapore at welcome and farewell parties.
Nearly half the seat is Japanese on this day. Immediately after it was Japanese madams who roared loudly.
Whether the expectation was too high, the food is quite normal. The wine is selected by the sommelier.
There was a lot of volume and I left the last apple pie. It is a pity that it was freshly baked and delicious.
Minardies souvenirs pound cake. After coming home, we all had a little bit more.
Well worth it. Am not a fun of truffle typically (because of how much truffle essence some places use) but this was fantastic. The truffle caramelized onion tart was a great taster, fantastic salmon tartare and perfectly cooked venison with a beautiful red wine reduction. The little lobster soup with burnt toast was so moorish. Very polite and attentive staff, telling you exactly what you are eating and helping with requests. Would happily come back here.
Super awesome French cuisine with Jap influences. Some pretty authentic and strong flavours here. Loved the desserts alot. Met the delightful chef Sebastian too.
On each visit to Singapore my friend usually ends up taking me here for lunch and being a fairly regular customer the service is always very good
We don't need to look at the menu as the manager will usually ask what we feel like eating and drinking and then selecting those items he thinks will work. Each time they pretty much score a direct hit.
The restaurant is quite formal however we are always able to duck in and out in casual.
I've been here to entertain clients in the evenings also and the atmosphere is more serious then but the food is excellent depending on your choice and/or course. Choose your own wine or go with a recommendation.
Always a comfortable choice going here though sometimes if you want to avoid the orchard crowds and traffic go elsewhere
Great for couple, friends or business clients
The butter indeed is amazingly good! Service also excellent~
The style is simple and unpretentious, the traditional French cuisine does not mix with other concepts, and even the plates are exceptionally clean. This is quite confident in the contents of the plate-the water comes out of the hibiscus, and the decoration is natural.
The taste is perfectly balanced and the taste is very delicate.
It was the first restaurant that made me discover that the taste of the original food can be so wonderful, the craftsmanship.
It is a pity that the desserts are very bad.
Les amis is more like a place where you can relax and eat a perfect and simple French meal in casual clothes. You don't need to clenched your tongue to perceive what is in the plate. You will know what it is when you open the plate, but the entrance is a little more beautiful and comfortable than you think.
That was a little disappointing. Service is ok, seats may be good atmosphere depending on location.
The taste is very ordinary. The roasted duck was a little disappointing because it didn't look very good.
Great food and ambience! Excellent customer service!
Had a lovely lunch here and some dishes such as the cold angel hair pasta with caviar, and the tomato tart was excellent. Latter courses on the other hand were not as exciting and perhaps gearing towards to more classical French but lacking acidity.
Me and my wife had a really good time here! We really understand why it is a 3 Michelin restaurant.
The service was extraordinary, the ingredients felt of premium quality, and the dishes came out in a good timings. It's an expensive experience but very memorable:)
Delicious food, attentive service and good ambience. Fully deserve its Michelin stars.
The food was presented like a piece of art. Truly inspiring.
It's perfect if it's not over three and a half hours course time.
Thanks to that, we talked a lot and experienced French-style meals properly.
The food feels more special to the entree than the main.
Les Amis is my favourite French restaurant. Their service is top notch. Always very observant and will attend to your every need.
Food wise, the quality is superb.
Price wise I would say it is reasonable considering the quality of food and wonderful service that you are getting.
One does definitely feel pampered here.
Great experience. Interesting culinary journey throughout several courses. A touch of french cuisine with high quality products. Refinement et precision. I definitely recommend this place if you want to discover new things, and enjoy a memorable moment.
Starters were surprising and tasty. Very technical work, you can notice the french touch, the passion for details. Service is first class. But I was quite puzzled by the salmon and bar, they were served with just a sauce. Main dish is supposed to be star of the lunch, I expected to be astonished for a two stars Michelin. They served ice cream and sorbet as pre dessert, I recommend the sorbet passion fruit. Deserts were good but too classic. In a nutshell, if you want to try classic french cuisine this is a good place.
A wonderful experience and a great fine dining place. The service was superb and the dishes were creative and more importantly able to bring out the true flavors of the ingredients. It was a wonderful experience.
Classy place as expected. Food was pretty and delicious too.
Would recommend Les Amis if you're celebrating a special occasion
Les Amis was an experience for French cuisine, not just a mere restaurent. Everything was perfect. I liked every dish there, except for the main dish. The waiter recommended the deer steak to be medium-rare, but it was too undercooked for me. I preferred it to be cooked medium. Besides that, I enjoyed the meal. Bread and dessert was also nice.
Traditional, comfortable and elegant place to dine for a special event! The staff is down-to-earth and professional without pretense or guile. The dining room is on the modern extreme but the menu is more traditional and reassuring. The prices are not outrageous or thoughtless. The giant cheese trolley makes it way up and down a short flight of stairs with amazement."
Highly recommended!
Service is really superb. Best place for fine dining. Delicious food and good ambience.
A very pleasant meal with impeccable service. The courses complimented each other very well. Highly recommended for lunch. I have no complaints
Unfortunately when I last tried Les Amis it was really disappointing as the Chef was not around. The food was not prepared in his usual standards.
Today when I tried to make a booking at Les Amis to give them another go, I was told that the restaurant cannot Guarantee that the chef will be around. How can a chef cannot guarantee his schedule that is about 1 month away?
This is really disappointing....
It was a great night of food and such an amazing service. The passion was evident and the quality of ingredients used elevated the overall taste and experience of the food. Very joyous memory.
One of Singapore's first high class French restaurant, and still one of the best. Michelin starred and it shows. Be prepared to empty your wallet or sell your left kidney however.
Lived in Europe for about a decade and dined lots - and this is about the best restaurant there is out there. Service is excellent too. In particular, Patrick was super knowledgeable, keen and skilled as a waiter - very rare to experience such good service in Singapore / Asia. Amazing.
Reliably one of the best dining experiences in the country
Michelin 3 star French fine dining restaurant, very nice setting, delicious course meals made my day.
Polite and kind staffs too.
Convenient as located at ground floor.
Wine were nice too.
Bit pricey but worth the money.
One of Singapore's long standing and veritable French culinary establishments that goes back to the 1990s when Justin Quek was the man in charge of the kitchen. Sebastien Lepinoy, a Robuchon alumni, now does the honours, producing very good traditional French cuisine with his team, supported notably by talented local pastry chef Cheryl Koh. 3 and 4 course sets are served for lunch, as well as a 5 course Classic and 6 course Ete prix fixe tasting menus. Opted for the 4 course lunch menu which provides for choices of cold and hot appetisers, a main and a dessert. Supplements i.e. top up charges apply for several of the more interesting items on the lunch menu. A couple of tomato based amuse bouche were served which were quite refreshing. Picked the blue lobster and roasted foie gras for starters. Lobster was excellent, very nicely plated, but perhaps more importantly exuding a smoothness and freshness of the sea which would delight many a palate. Foie gras was well executed, displaying similarities to that served at Robuchon at RWS previously. Had the Ohmi beef tenderloin for the main which was surprisingly quite lean while displaying good natural flavour, accompanied by a deconstructed Bearnaise sauce which was an interesting take of an old classic. Dessert was chocolate and pistachio mille feuille. Well executed as were the petite fours which feature some of the best made chocolates in the country, for which plaudits should go to the pastry chef. Dining hall is quite elegant, an elongated room with tables comfortably spaced out. Service is professional, gracious and helpful and waitstaff generally have good diction. Perhaps not as an exciting culinary adventure as some places without bells and whistles, smoke or sparks, but clearly one with solid fundamentals. As they say, an oldie but a goodie. 2 michelin stars is about right and deserved.
I want to take this time to send our sincere thanks to Royston for arranging a wonderful belated birthday celebration for my family, mama Joyce and Mr Ng.
We had a lovely memorable day under the pampering care of Manoj, Patrick and Ruziq.
We are honoured to have the opportunity to meet Marketing Manager Ms Merissa Goh and we had an enjoyable conversation.
The food, service and ambience is so uniquely special that keeps us returning for more. We wish the amazing team of Les Amis all the best and keep providing the very best for every customer.
Exceptional food, non-intrusive service, good wine list. Excellent by any standard.
It is truly an experience. The food was amazing the service was superb. Would highly recommend everyone to come enjoy the dishes
We tried their tasting menu, it was mind blowing. Everything was delicious and well thought out. Service could be improved though - the waiter and waitress who served us were a tad robotic. Overall a good experience.
Come at Jan,2018, it is a very traditional French restaurant, I put 4.5 here. All the dishes are very good but no surprise. The restaurant got the best wine list in Singapore.
Come again at Aug, 2018, I give 5 star this time. This one should be upgraded to Michelin 3 star in my opinion.
As the saying goes, "much ado about nothing" pretty much summed up the entire experience. I honestly expected much more for the price they are charging.
The food is good, just not unforgettable. I've been to some restaurants that served such great food i can remember the outstanding dishes from each visit even after many years. This isn't one of them.
After dining, you will remember that the food was above average, and that the bill is high. The menu consisted tired repeats of commonly repeated food that's better than the average, but not good enough to etch itself into your memories.
The service was good, but not great as compared up other fine dining restaurants.
Still it's a good brand name to impress guests with.
one of the original and best fine dining experiences in singapore, les amis has carved itself a niche for interesting, well-executed food in a quiet, refined setting with excellent service. the set lunch is probably better value than the dinner menu but a wonderful evening out.
Great food and wine selection. Fantastic service, from start to finish, as always.
Excellent food. Attentive service but somehow lacks personal touch.
