Lemonjello's Coffee Review

The coffee was aweful! There was an empty half and half jug. Employees were not paying attention to refill even though there were 3-4 standing there.

About a dozen and half tables inside plus a long bar. Another 8 or so tables outside. Nice local art on walls. Interior is tile floor and ceiling tile, but walls are nicely painted, and there's fun local art hanging. Somehow the interior comes off really well. Alt rock on low. Lots of outlets. Free wi-fi with no password. About half full on a Monday afternoon during summer tourist season, but seems to mostly be locals in here. Excellent selection of pastries and good selection of loose leaf tea. The chai lattes are Oregon swill but they have a very nice loose leaf chai.

Coffee ok.. asked for toasted bagel received cold bagel... Suppose to be vegan friendly no jelly no peanut butter to eat with my bagel only butter.. Wife ordered Green tea latte, she dumped it...JP is a much solid place...

Great place to get good coffee and amazing muffins. They offer the fastest internet around serviced by Holland Fiber. Never had a bad experience.

Lemonjello's had a nice cozy atmostphere. The tables would be a little bit small to work on projects but they are perfect for having coffee with a friend. I had coffee from one of the airpots. The coffee was fresh and still hot. The cashier greeted us with a smile and was very polite, the service was prompt. Overall it is one of the better coffee places in town.

Great coffee quality (madcap), friendly staff, great muffins made from scratch, and the owner is very down to earth and genuine! Will go back whenever in town.

I've been partaking of LJs goodness since 2006. When you want a place to call your own "shop," LJs is the spot. Great coffee options from Madcap to Halfwit and my fav, Stovetop... your coffee snobbery is well taken care of here. The muffins are the next best offering: cinnamon, almond green tea, chocolate chip raspberry are my go tos. The staff is also helpful, kind and represent a colorful assortment of Hope College students and other awesome peeps. I'm glad you exist Lemonjellos.

I am a local who loves it. It has a great environment, great and friendly staff, and of course GREAT COFFEE!!! This coffee shop is always full of highschool and college students. Which makes a busy place that often has a large line.

I LOVE their vegan chilli, cookies, and muffins. I m not so sure about their drinks though. I like the summer steamer, but I m not a fan of the taste of their espresso so much. It s still great coffee overall, just not exactly my taste.

The regular lattes are excellent with both oat milk and almond milk. They use Madcap coffee beans for (I believe) their brewed coffees and espresso. There is a wide variety of baked goods in the counter case; every baked item I've tried was delicious. The atmosphere is great for people who don't like studying in silence. They play a variety of music from pop to indie to classic rock; it's usually enjoyable and not too loud. The baristas are friendly and helpful. They're more than willing to answer any questions you might have. Overall, LJs is my favorite coffee shop in Holland - and probably anywhere for that matter.

Super great GREEN focused coffee shop, recycling is top priority, well maybe not top, but it's up there. Great customer service, yummiest goodies and incredible coffee. Boho type atmosphere due to its proximity to Hope College. Tablets, laptops are used here as well. Upbeat people, great place to meet friends. Background music varies from alternative to classic rock, and early 60's, loved walking in and hearing Joni Mitchell! Fair prices, don't forget to tip your barista!

They have vegan treats here, which my wife very much enjoyed! Had a very college feel, there were many students studying. My black coffee was pretty good, not amazing, but not bad. Had a lot of quirks and character!

Lemonjello's is the must go to coffee shop in the Holland area. It dominates the area with madcap sourced coffee, a cute "Hollywood" aesthetic, and friendly staff. If you aren't into coffee just grab a tea or caffeinated Arnold Palmer! Not feeling like a drink grab a cinnamon roll or a healthy vegan bar! Lemonjellos is unique and unlike any other coffee shop I've been to. Try it, and you will not be disappointed.

Writing this while sitting at Lemonjello's...this place has served as a community and home for me during my time living in Holland. Fantastic coffee, wonderful staff that I have obnoxiously befriended, and baked goods that I have dreamt about.

Had a raspberry bran muffin that was so chock full of berries. Not overly sweet either. A good cup of chai too. Nice.

Great coffee shop in downtown Holland. Big props for offering coffee from what I consider to be the two top roasters in Michigan, MadCap and Stovetop. Also to their credit they offer an excellent selection of pastries and treats including gluten free options. And not just gluten free cancellation prizes but actually good gluten free treats.

Nice to drop in to get the kiddos some hot Cocoa / Chocolate. Beware the Peanut butter cookies though, they run Sugar Heavy and PB light, so its crack to the kids.

Not a huge fan. It's generally crowded, and Mapcap isn't my favourite roaster. I do appreciate that they are committed to recycling, composting, and reducing waste.

Awesome local coffee shop in Holland. Mood Lattes are a personal fave, try out the Stress Reliever. All baked goods are out of this world - try the blueberry buckle. Louder and smaller than JPS down the road, but a more warm atmosphere.

Great coffee. Also the only place open on Sunday mornings.

Great spot for good coffee. Currently has limited seating available inside due to covid19, but the patio space outside is nice. I especially appreciated being able to buy a good cup of coffee on a Sunday, as most other places are closed.

Best coffeeshop in town! Everything from the coffee (drip, espresso, and bags of beans) to the baked goods (including veg, vegan, and GF) are always on point. Friendly staff in a great environment, and an affirming organization.

I am sure there are better days but said machine was broken but was still putting out espresso drinks and lady said she was the only one in the store that could make pour over but since she was the only one, who knew (three other workers present) she wouldn't make it for me.

Great coffee, friendly staff. They have seasonal lattes with fresh beans. They also sell whole beens from Michigan roasters which I really appreciate. They said during non-covid19 times they have pour overs available which is amazing. I highly recommend and when I'm back in Holland I'll definitely stop by.

The coffee is good and the baristas are nice, but it's always crowded and noisy and I can't find a seat.

They prepare a proper cup of coffee at a reasonable price, the only place I will buy from in Holland. The raspberry chocolate chip muffin is a favorite indulgence and the veggie chili makes for a fantastic lunch.

Best coffee I've had, to this day. Great staff too, friendly and knowledgeable. They still require masks and social distance, so it's also safe.

Thank you for being phenomenal every time I visit. We were visiting in Grand Rapids and made the drive to Holland just for the coffee.

Best coffee shop in downtown Holland, not just for its products, but it's atmosphere and friendly staff as well. I've had mochas and lattes from here, pretty good but nothing to rave about, but MAN let me tell you about their smoothies! They're well worth the brain freeze!

Busy and comfortable...Good coffee, just stay away from the decaf.

This little gem doesn't disappoint! They have delicious coffee that has been great every time we've been in. The baristas really know what they're doing. They're also very friendly and helpful. In addition to drinks, they have a nice selection of light meal and snack options in a fridge to grab some food to go with your coffee or tea.

Great staff, and focused on serving excellent coffee. It's hard to beat that combination.

Friendly little coffee shop. 4 large lattes and 2 muffins was a little over $30, so expect it to be a bit pricey. Coffee itself was decent, nothing overly outstanding. The space was busy, lots of quaint seating. A nice spot to stop a stay awhile.

Hipster coffee vibe. I had a pumpkin spice latte and it was great. There is a great selection on the menu and they also offer some merchandise too. Great coffee and can get busy. Hard to find parking close by on busy days.
