Awesome place to work with a mission and vision for caring for seniors with the respect and dignity they deserve!
VERY poor management. Worst issue being raising the rent large amounts, inconsistently among residents in the same size apt's, and often. Other issues include poor cleaning staff, poor food, and boredom. Also had an issue with alcoholic beverages being offered weekly with some residents stating "I'm drunk". Glad we are out of there.
Money hungry scumbags from Kansas trying to steal as much money as they can nationwide as quickly as possible. Look up all the lawsuits against them for horrible treatment of their seniors. Disgusting. If you have a loved one do not take them anywhere near these blood suckers. true.
I would never recommend Park West Plaza which is affiliated with Legend Senior Living. I was lied to from the beginning, but didn't find out until I had paid the $1750 " nonrefundable community fee" and the first month's rent. I specifically asked if they could set up with auto-pay BEFORE I signed anything. I was told they could. After I moved my aunt in, I was told "Sorry, that was a mistake. We will have that someday." A month later I got a late notice with a $600 late fee stating the rent had not been paid. This was 10 days AFTER I had paid the upcoming month's rent BEFORE the first of the month. That required more of my time to get straightened out.
After only 4 months in their special "Memory Care" facility I was told that her my aunt's memory had worsened and their memory care unit couldn't care for her because of her memory???!!! What is memory care for? They still required 30 days notice, and even then only refunded part of the payment for the days I had already paid beyond the 30 days. Even that took follow up with my time to get that partial refund.
They expect their money on time, but they have absolutely no concern for the elderly they are supposed to be taking care of. I did not have this kindd of experience when she was at Brookdale assisted living. I would recommend checking on Brookdale communities.
NEVER PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE IN LEGENDS AT RIVENDELL, OKC. I am writing to the State licensing board, Adult Protective Services, listing out my concerns, along with the Owner. The sub-standard "care" of their residents during the COVID situation is appalling. I was SHOCKED to see that my mother was sleeping in sheets with poop on them (not recent), poop in her chair, poop on clothes in her room. Missing medicine, fire exits that are locked and will not work and with minimal to almost no staff. They kept the families out, but let moving companies in and family members to those who are moving in roam the facility. AC not working in some rooms. I have met others who recently left the facility for the sub standard care. Maybe they will write letters too. They want to tell me I needed to give 60 days notice.... I took her out for fear of her health and lack of care! Try and bill me.
My review is not on here anymore?
BAD PLACE TO PUT LOVED ONE.
