Leewood Healthcare Facility Review

Tata is dependable and kind, therapy is excellent, they help me to walk again normally.

The Leewood Lodge has truly been a home away from home. I am extremely satisfied with all aspects of my admission and the care I am receiving. My care team has been welcoming, professional, and compassionate. They take the time to ask how I am doing, understand my needs, encourage me to stay active, and respect my privacy. I am comfortable communicating my health concerns and, best of all, I am always confident that they will address them expeditiously.

My father was admitted to Leewood for a little more than two months. The facility was good and we were very satisfied with the center. Ms. Tata was highly professional and was always happy to help us and took time to answer all the questions. The staff was always busy, but they attempt to help us, as needed.

Terrence Kee is in charge of operations here at Leewood. He is obviously very much loved by the patients and staff because he actually stops to give some time and attention to anyone who needs him. It s very comforting to see this type of genuine care from the person in charge all the way at the top. Dr. Pham is the physician here and he is also extremely kind and helpful. Last but certainly not least, I would like to thank our CNA Safinatu. She went and got me a cup of ice when she noticed that I was drinking a bottle of room-temp soda and I didn t even have to ask. She pays close attention to detail when it comes to the needs of even the visitors of the patients!

I had a great experience at this facility. The staff were amazing especially the social worker, Tatia she was really helpful and very kind. She is new but still she did her best to answer my questions she seemed very sympathetic. My grandmother is well taken care of.amazing nurses and the CNA (don't remember her name) but they seem to care about the patients.

I am calling Leewood Healthcare Center, Braddock Rd, Annandale, VA. It is Friday, February 16, 2018 at 5:35 PM. The phone rings a number of times, then a click followed by a fast busy. This occurred 6 times. On the seventh time, a lady answered in garbled English. I said "hello", where upon she hung up. I redialed an additional number of times; each time the phone rang for a few rings, followed by a fast busy and hang up. Can anyone in America walk and chew gum at the same time? Not here it appears.

I'm a private duty caregiver and my client has a family member at Leewood. I pulled up to the covered awning and escorted my client to the front door. Returning to my car and circling the drive way a few times, a gentleman who was standing outside flagged me down. He introduced himself as the Administrator of Leewood and offered me HIS parking space that was very close to the door! It's not very many members of upper management who would offer their prime parking spot, but he did! I'm very impressed with Leewood!

I hope you don't have to deal with the social worker, we had horrible experience with one called Eileen. Most nurses are nice. If you do rehab good luck, they expect you to show progress immediately. If you don't show progress quickly,they will kick you out fast.

I have a good experience. I feel safe at leewood, will surelly recommend this place to friends. Mustafa is very nice to me. The social worker Tata was very helpful. Therapy team is the best, they are very nice especialy Emil.

Overall experience is good, the team is doing a good job.

Staff is very busy all the time but try to help Food was wonderful. Therapy is very good. Social services have been very helpful. Everyone was Angelique they helped to get back my strength.

Leewood is a very loving place to be. Caspar the wound nurse is a hard working young men, he will answer all your questions and helps when you really need help. Andrew the social worker is hard working also and listens to all our concerns.

I have met very good and professional people at Leewood like Erika from therapy, CNA Adbul, both social workers and Regina the housekeeper. Everybody was amazing and the food was good too. Appreciate all the help we has from this place.

If you have Celiac's beware - kitchen doesn't know what gluten is. Overall very good

My son was here for approximately 2 years after a stroke he is paralysed on left side. They have took good care of him. Sali was wonderful, Bernard liked her so much,they worked good together. I first met Tata when she was on the floor and did a good job and her personality was wonderful she treated everybody like a family member and I wish her a good luck on her new job.

After taking my mom to five different Rehabilitation locations in the northern Virginia area just in the last 12 months, this is the one I recommend the most. It isn't the newest facility but it's the people and service that matter the most. The people at this location were extremely helpful navigating all the matters I had to manage for my mother remotely. Communications were head and shoulders above all the other facilities in the area. They were exceptional professionals throughout the entire process. I thank everyone at Leewood for their help and support and will be working with them exclusively moving forward.
