During this very sad time, the arrangements and funeral for our father were carried out with such professionalism and compassion. Having to negotiate with the State of Maryland where our father died; having the funeral in CT, and also having to meet with yet another funeral director in Maine where we live could have been very difficult. The staff at Leete-Stevens made our burden easy. They walked us through the process and every detail with patience and kindness. The funeral was memorable and perfect in every way. We offer them our sincerest appreciation.

When my mom passed on December 16, 2012 we knew exactly where to go to have her funeral arrangements done. That was Leete Stevens Family Funeral Home and Crematory. As I have attended many funerals here for both friends and close family I have always taken notice of the professionalism and pride that is taken to make funeral be what the families wishes are. Though this would be my first time being part of the actual planning, we made an appointment and met with Sean Stevens. From the very minute we walked in the door to when we left there was nothing but pure professionalism. He and his staff were very kind and welcoming and straight forward with all information regarding options available and what each meant. I want to thank Sean and his tremendous staff on making this experience of laying my mom to rest the best it could be under the circumstance of a family loss.

The team at Leete-Stevens was amazing at assisting my family in the funeral and burial of my father. They patiently guided us through a difficulty process and were readily available and quick to respond to all of our questions. They were always kind, sincere and respectful. Leete-Stevens is very organized and made all the necessary arrangements which providing my family the time to grieve. They were very transparent about the cost. From start to finish, Leete-Stevens was by our side.

After the recent passing of my mother, my family and I asked Leete Stevens Funeral Home to plan her funeral service. We initially met with Sean to discuss my mom's wake, funeral and burial wishes. After hearing her wishes he outlined all options available, explaining in detail any varying factors within each option and itemized the costs . On the day of the services, the entire Leete Stevens staff was professional and courteous. The staff directed my family and those paying tribute to our mom in an organized fashion and ensured that we, the family, did not have to worry about the details. We personally found the staff to be very accommodating to our needs, allowing us to properly grieve and pay tribute. In my opinion, Sean and the Leete Stevens family went above and beyond my expectations. A truly excellent establishment whose services will again be utilized by our family in the future.

A meeting was set up for the next day, we met with Sean Stevens. During this extremely sad and stressful time for myself and my children I was truly grateful that Sean made the process of making my wife's arrangements with the ease of any added stress. Being a life time resident of the area (and my family has been in the area for over 100 years), we have come to rely on Leete-Stevens in our time of need. They are always compassionate, caring, and know how to make the difficult easier. Now in their 4th generation, the tradition of caring and empathy continues with Sean and the Stevens family.
