Fully deserves the title of the "World's Loveliest Castle". Excellent couple of days here. Stayed at the accommodation in the grounds which was superb. All the staff here are informed, extremely professional and incredibly friendly and helpful. Was particularly impressed by the falconry area where the presentation and close up view of the birds was fascinating. The Segway is good fun as well. All in all a top location and we'll worth an investment of time

The whole place is beautiful, the visit inside the castle is very enjoyable even for children because they have challenges for them to do in each room (for example, find hidden sculptures). At Christmas the castle is very nice decorated, the tickets are valid for a year so I hope to be able to come back soon to see what other decorations they will put on.

Beautiful day out in the sunshine. So much greenery to enjoy. Covid makes everything a little more difficult but the onw way system was fine, and everyone was very helpful. Had a tasty cheese and onion pasty for lunch and a rum and raisin ice cream. Both delicious.

Parking is free and admission charges are reasonable, although i would recommend upgrading to the annual ticket for unlimited entry for 12 months. There is a long walk up to the castle, but a road train is available for a small fee. That said, the walk to the castle is beautiful and there's no need to rush. The castle is stunning from any angle and you can look around inside. If you keep going past the castle you will walk through some lovely gardens and onto the Maze, a cafe, a Battle of Britain exhibit and a birds of prey show. All in all a very nice day out for all the family.

Makes a really nice day out, along with a visit to the restaurant and a nice walk through the gardens, definitely a must see. I'd recommend looking up some of the history before visiting as you'll have a broader understanding of the importance of this castle and it's surroundings.

A great place, beautiful buildings, gardens, grounds, the lakes and it is well set up. From the parking to helpful staff to the signage. Check their website as they have different things going on throughout the year. They had kids craft day on when we went and the birds of prey exhibition and show was great. There is also a big play ground (swings, slide etc) and a big widen fort for the kids to run around in.

There is a little bit of a walk to get to the castle from the entrance, but there is a little train and we did see some golf type buggies to help people. You also get to feed a load of lake birds on route to the castle, which our girls loved.

Plenty of picnic spots and they have a number of little cafes and a restaurant (although we did not go into the restaurant)

Good day out I would recommend.

A lovely castle and great place for a day out! It has free and easy parking, the entry tickets are valid for a whole year and staff is always very kind and helpful. The castle and it's surrounding gardens are very beautiful and well maintained. There's a few extra attractions (maze, grotto, child's castle playground, falconry) so you won't get board the whole day. Only downside in my opinion is the food - I suggest bringing your own picnic food, otherwise you'll have to choose between hotdog and burger, both of which aren't very good. Overall highly highly recommended!

Once you buy a ticket it is valid for a year from date of purchase, this gives you a chance to go at different times of the year and get the most out of what is on offer. A very nice place to visit, a tracker train is available to and from the entrance to the castle for kids or anyone who might have difficulty walking.

Beautiful grounds, fantastic birds, water fowl, falconry display, great castle, a few places to buy food, some queuing for food during weekends/school holidays, take your own food if you desire. Nice souvenir shop. Entry fee not cheap but lasts for a year. A wedding was going on during one of our visits, it didn't impose much but caused slight restrictions. Parking is plentiful and free.

Went here last year then visited again this year. They have made a couple of changes which reflects the new normal of Covid-19. Bookings must now be done ahead online especially if you want to tour the castle since limited number of people are now allowed in. The stairwell railings on the castle are wrapped and hand sanitizers are provided. However, some interesting areas such as the maze area are shut off. Also, Lady Bailey's room has not been fully restored. I understand they had to remove the furnitures for maintainance/restoration when Covid happened. The other areas especially the golf/children play areas appears to be a bit overcrowded with not many people wearing their masks as they should have. Other than that, the castle remains magnificent and there is always something new to discover.

Undoubtedly the best family attraction in the area. We never tire of visiting Leeds Castle throughout the changing seasons of the year. Admitably the Christmas Market was a bit hectic when it opened last weekend, but I guess it's all part of the hustle & bustle of Christmas. It's a pity the market is not open more on week days to allow visitors without children to attend in relative peace!
Visiting the Castle during the Flower Festival earlier this year was truly memorable. The displays were absolutely wonderful. The Christmas decorations every year are so imaginative.

Loved the house (it's not really a castle, by the way).
Enjoyed the grounds (riding a Segway was good fun).
But - the entry price was far too high.
Then there was an extra charge for the train (which is not a train).
And the cafe options were fairly limited and also rather pricy.

Great day out for the whole family. Initial ticket price seems high but remember it lasts for 12 months so actually fantastic value. So much to engage kids of all age. Considering its tourist attraction the price of food and drinks are reasonable.

A truly wonderful place which caters for all ages. Apart from the well maintained castle the gardens are beautiful. Try out the maze if you have plenty of time. Watch the birds of prey displays and have a locally made ice cream. Pay once and visit all year on one ticket. Value for money.
