I had been trying to get a new part for a Spider lee and received terrible customer service during the entire process. The parts manager failed to provide me with the requested schematics and manual for their tractor and failed to follow through on a promise to have a technician help with mechanical issue. After almost two weeks, I finally got the quote for the parts I needed. I was told by the part manager that in order to get a new key switch I would have to purchase the entire electrical panel for the tractor, which cost $855.00. When I asked if there was a way I could just purchase the Key switch, I was informed that their distributor does not sell the key switch, only the entire panel. When I asked if there was another way of ordering the key switch, the parts manager laughed at me and said "I don't know what to tell you, If I gave you another key switch options there is no guarantee that it will work?". I told him i though it was ridiculous that they expect users of their equipment to pay that much for a $70 key switch and that they should find another option as a commitment to their customers. He did not seem to agree.
So with the information he gave me on the quote, I was able to find the manufacturer of the Panel a distributor of that equipment. LOFA industries makes the Panels for my Spider Lee tractor and a distributor is sending me a new key switch for $70. I am just very disappointed at LeeAgra for failing to help their customers find affordable solutions to maintaining their equipment. They were going to let me pay 10x the amount for something I didn't need. Thanks LeeAgra!
