Had a great day there. Much under rated sport hockey. Saw England match and atomsohere around place was great. A little further away from the London stadium than I thought. So took longer to walk to it.
Family had a great day at the world hockey league semi finals final day.
Brilliant legacy venue after the 2012 London Olympics. Make sure you get tickets to watch some of the international play here because you won t regret it. Don t forget to cheer on England and take som sunscreen because I m the open sun you ll very quickly burn. It s at least a 15-20 min walk to the train station so come prepared for that. Otherwise, have a blast!
Lee Valley is a top facility within the London Olympic Park, with 6 outdoor floodlit courts (hard) and 4 sublime indoor (hard) courts.
The courts can be booked online or via the telephone and the club is walking distance from Stratford and Hackney Wick stations.
The centre is used by many London University teams and it is a wonderful place to play throughout the winter!
Place to watch hockey. Good atmosphere and fun evening. Family fun. Needs better toilet facilities a more permanent structure. Bit primitive. Think fans deserve a lot better especially prices of tickets. Come on Hockey Association.
Daughter has been playing tennis since she was 5.shes now 9 years old but there is no proper club and no progression. The coach decided to move her group to another ball which she's not ready for and no alternative group she can move in to. Coach didn't even care! What a complete waste of time.
Great facility, Hockey Makers a real help, lovely to taste a small piece of what the Olympics offered.
Very nice indoor/outdoor tennis courts. Clean change room + shower facilities. The indoor courts play very fast so its a lot of fun
Very good outdoor court, although i prefer indoor ones
My favourite place to play tennis. Good online booking facility.
Lovely building, top of the range sports surfaces, great free parking for 4 hours policy, however if you're a motorcyclist they are pointlessly very strict about where you park
Used the indoor tennis courts, easily the best in the area. They courts are clean and tennis sounds great indoors with the wooden panelling! Changing rooms are very clean and new as well.
Very modern place ,my 7 year old has tennis lessons there and this helped his confidence growth a lot..and the instructors are amazing!!
Congratulations to both GB Men's and Women's Hockey teams. GB has secured a double in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Domo arigato.
The best hockey pitches in London if not the UK, hosts multiple international events on a yearly basis with fantastic facilities and plenty of parking space. Used by various local teams throughout the season including Wapping HC, with great changing spaces and a nice bar overlooking the pitch..
Managed to get an indoor tennis court because of the rain but the facilities are not 100% e.g. access to changing rooms due to Covid but they are doing the best they can.
An amazing sports centre and great hockey pitch - well organised and great viewing from the stand onto the pitch
Amazing place to play. Amazing staff. Also, I don't know the name of the manager (men) but he was super friendly with us. We will definitely be back
One of the best tennis center I've seen so far. I've used the indoor tennis courts which have a very good quality surface, perfect temperature although outside was freezing, free parking..
Good size hockey venue with international standard pitch and lots of seating. Limited selection of food outlets so long queues but reasonable prices and quality. Clean toilets. Very limited parking and long (25 min) walk to nearest train/tube
The best place to play tennis with the family. My mum came down from Yorkshire with my nieces and nephews for the weekends and we booked a slot to play. It was fantastic but I had to book a few weeks in advance so i recommened that you book earlier as only the crappy times will be left available
Great facility, the courts are well kept and there's plenty of room in between, the indoor part is really good (the courts are fast). Changing rooms and showers are warm and clean. Totally worth it. Only problem, the outside is very exposed to wind.
One of the best places for tennis in London. Indoor courts are fast with the facility of lockers. 100% Recommended.
Good venue could do with better transport links 20-30 min walk from nearest public transport
Didnt see parking signs warning for a Sat mid day parking did check. WATCH OUT they're after money bad service.
The outdoor courts are fantastic. Wish I could afford the indoor ones though...
Very good facilities, the tennis courts are excellent.
Great atmosphere, excellent facilities and really great for all ages - we thoroughly enjoyed watching on two occasions the England women & mens team play epic matches - top stuff :)
Excellent day and facilities...well organised and managed
Nice courts, well maintained, should do more tennis events here!
Top class facilities, 4 indoor courts, programmes to suit everyone. Check out on-line hours etc.
Could do with air-con in the summertime.
