The workers are very rude and shouldn t work with such nasty attitudes. Terrible terrible Customer Service

The food is good here. But, the ladies who work behind the counter have a terrible attitude. They act like they re giving you the food for free. Whenever I spend money, I expect to have good customer service. The owner needs to select his workers better.

They offer an awesome variety of fresh food. I loved dining here. Employees are always very welcoming, prices are reasonable and the place is always neat.

Easily best haitian restaurant In Elmont Long Island and queens service is ok food is good and prices are still affordable le spot could use a little improvement but I m sure with time it ll get better but for now they re doing good

I stopped in for some Haitian cuisine on the run. The food was pretty good the service was okay.

They always run out of food, which is unlikely for a restaurant to run out of everything. They are unsanitary, they don't wear gloves, hair covers (found hair once or twice) they touch cash and cards and that same hand touches the spoon that falls into the food. Gross. Sometimes it takes awhile to get service on the account that they are eating the food and joking around. Orders gets messed up etc. That is exactly what to expect upon walking in and ordering. It's a 5 star if your standards are low. But I expect the same level of cleanliness and respect from them as I do any restaurant. I mostly support small businesses white or black but they lost my business and my family's because I'd be too EMBARRASSED to bring someone outside my culture into this place.

This is the worst Haitian restaurant no customer service , even you called to place an order they told you 15-30 minutes when you came , they acting like I didn t placed no Oder this is the worst place ever period.

I have been frequenting Le Spot for a few months now.
The food is absolutely delicious! The service has also improved dramatically. I was recently given the wrong order of rice and I only noticed this when I got home. When I went over there the following day to let them know what had happened, not only did they give me my rice, but I was also offered additional food as a courtesy. That says it all! Customer service should always be paramount in any business and Le Spot understands that perfectly. Bravo!

Food is ok but this place needs better costumer service. After my last visit there I will never go back to that place. People talk all over the foods while serving you. They pay absolutely no mind to the costumers. There's usually a big Pile of trash in front of the restaurant and it really stinks. Listen If you love Haitian food trust me you can find way better spots. This is definitely not "le spot" to eat.

I could give the restaurant more star because many times their food is ok .... Min sam does not understand and our Haitian restaurant uses too much fat in our food. How to buy a rice with turkey sauce and watch the rice soak in oil. I m sorry I don t review ever on anything but it s not fair .. oil doesn t give food flavor.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! only giving 3 stars because the food is great. But the service is horrible the young ladies taking your order has the worst attitude. Dont waste your time calling and placing an order over the phone the wait is as though you did not. Had to walk out after placing a order over the phone and waited 30 mins at the restaurant to be ignored and rudely spoken about to another customer. I was so disappointed I had to walk out. I am a frequent customer and this is a regualar thing. Will not be return DISAPPOINTED..

Don't know why the reviews point to bad service. The people here are always polite and the food is delicious. It's also very clean, & the people are always cleaning thoroughly when I'm there (always late).

First of all wow, amazing food. My gf is American and her favorite is the Haitian black rice, you guys did an amazing job. The side plantains wasn't fresh enough, but everything else was amazing. I was afraid to try this place, but proved me wrong. Please continue to serve the best Haitian food and I will continue to return. Thanks

Use to loveeee this place but the owners changed as well as the staff and the new owner is very skimp with the food for more money.

This restaurant is highly unorganized. I ordered with them through UberEats and I can say that this restaurant is horrible. Would rate zero if I could. They took an hour and a half for food that s beyond horrible. The meat was too hard to eat. The sweet potato is barely cooked and missed parts of my order. And too add to that the gave me this plate (shown below) and had the nerve to charge me $16.00 for it. Ridiculous. Avoid this restaurant on UberEats cause it s like they re slow ...

This place is always clean and the food is so delicious and affordable. I highly recommend the fish, it s well seasoned and properly cooked. The staff is welcoming. I m always satisfied whenever I eat here, this place makes me so proud to be Haitian

If you don't speak creol u will wait 45 mins for your good. But other than that the griot was fresh and the rice was good also

Service was horrible. Rude and unwelcoming staff could not be bothered to answer when I said good afternoon, barely glance and half nodded.

That could be forgiven if at least the food was good. But this tasteless meat, undercooked rice, no-beef legume was terrible. She offered to put fried chicken in the legume because the beef it was cooked with had run out. Really... fried chicken in legume?!

Avoid this place. Looks nice though...

Best Haitian restaurant ever! The foods are on point, and great musics. It's a nice place to sit down and eat with joy.

This restaurant is the best in town. Food is delicious, the place is extremely clean, the staff is welcoming. Go see for yourself!!! Try their signature dish " Poisson Gros Sel", to die for.

The last three times I have been there, the girls behind the counter got my order wrong. They are too busy socializing instead of paying attention to the customer's order. The employees are constantly complaining. I do not eat pork. I order goat. Came all the way home, open my plate and it was pork. Second time, come all the way home and they leave something out of my order. Third time again they are always messing my orders up. I keep giving them a shot. Worst business ever. Management needs to step in and take control. There is no option for zero stars so I had to chose one star. During a time like this I am trying to support local business and taking a chance going outside and this is what I get.

Food is great!!!! Servers are very rude. No customer service at all. Owners/managers knows about workers rude behavior but nothing is never done. I will take my money where I m not being beat down while placing my order.

They have terrible business ethic. The workers lack manners, it is as if they have no home training. They're disrespectful, condescending, down right rude. Simply put, you can't do business with Haitians. Most of them are not disciplined enough to run a business. The way this business is running, I give them another 6 months before they close their doors.

They are slow-paced, not at all courteous. I placed an order, they went in the back and didn't inform me of the status.

Customer service was ok, but lately the food is really bad. I ordered stew turkey & it was very very salty, couldn't finish eating it. I try to support black owned businesses but incidents like this make that extremely difficult to do. I'm looking for another Haitian restaurant because I don't think that I'll be ordering from Le Spot again.

After a long trip from Boston to NY for a church event, we were in the mood for some good Haitian comfort food and somewhere we could unwind before taking the road again to Boston. We stopped there for a quick bite and behold the service we received there was beyond expectation.
I dont know for other people but compare to other places we've been, I was really impressed. The food was delicious, heavenly and reminded us of home. Walking-in the ambiance draws you in, clean, friendly staff, meal set up and presentation is nice. Staff is patient. The menu is rich for whatever you fancy, "the morue" is exceptional.
Service could be faster but I wouldn't change it for anything. I tip my hat to all the ladies as they were handling multiple customers from phone orders, to walk-ins and eat-ins if I may say so AND STILL managed all of it with class and a smile and Haitian love.
It is so refreshing to find a place like this. I feel more of our restaurants should continue to follow the good service model.
I am picky with where I eat, look at many variables, etc. and recommend this place comfortably.
PS: special thanks to the young lady with the hat who served us. My apologies in advance as we forgot to ask for her name, we were very pleased with your service. We couldn't come tomorrow, but we hope to visit on future trips. I'm keeping this place in my books.
