Bad food very very expensive for everything without comment

Underwhelming food that lacked flavour. Would not recommend unless you love oysters- it was the only thing worth it

The place is nice and you eat pretty well, a bit 'tight places and gets a little' smell from the kitchen but definitely worth a visit for dinner. The raw are excellent and some dishes like octopus in really interesting photos.

Very good place to eat, however prices are quite expensive for the products on offer.

Ok, small portions, medium quality but not cheap ... fish soup without its own character and standard, squid tubes chopped up a la plancha ok, but not more

Negative experience. Maybe the fish wasn't all fresh because we went on a Sunday (wrong we did), but we were both sick after a plate of mussels. The fish was not cooked well, and some dishes (including one of the two we took) were covered with too much sauce. Busy but confused and stressed waiter. Nearby tables in French style, there is in France, but ours in the vicinity of a garbage bucket has contributed to ruin the experience. Average price for the area but you eat better elsewhere.

The food was ok to average. I had an insect crawling out of my Oysters. To make matters worse the blonde waitress we had wasn't paying any attention when we ordered and brought the red instead of the white and when we told her we didn't order it she gave us lip and told me that I had shown her the red, even though I didn't order the red. It got worse as we waited for over 20 minutes to get the correct bottle and the food was full of bones.
I wouldn't recommend going here. It's not worth it.

A very nice fish restaurant, with no frills but very good and fresh fish, good vine, very good desserts, runned by lovely and competent young people. To eat there it's really worth it!

Great fish tapas / restaurant. Not given but it is really good, fresh and with products that are a bit out of the very classic. You can find space on the terrace. And the wines are not overpriced either.

A great discovery, fresh produce, ideal for fish lovers

Food was good, we had some beautiful prawns. However, the service was awful. We were basically the only people there yet it took at least ten minutes to put our order in, another 15 mins to get our drinks, then another 30 before our single small plate of prawns arrived. Even paying up and leaving seemed painful. These guys seem blissfully unaware of how bad their service is.

Authentic...! Super fish plate, sauce and vegetables humm plus deliciously fresh white wine. A great pleasure in the heat of summer.

Amazing food, wine and Armagnac. Seldom had such a good meal here. The staff were brilliant and the atmosphere great. This place is more than 5 stars worth!

Non-existent accompaniment for a tartare at 20euro, impossible to take a fried supplement outside the menu, oppressive service where the waitress cleared away before we even finished our dish

Correct. Standard dishes without anything exceptional

More than shabby !!! After 15 minutes of waiting to take the order, we are fired in favor of a larger table. You understand 2 adults and a child are less profitable than a table of six.

Probably one of the best fish restuarants in Bordeaux.

very nice place. Fresh seafood was very great and the neighborhood is not so hot with a bit windy street at the corner. The restaurant occupies the two sides of the street and the is enough place to find sit for a lunch. We had the plate of seafood and the tuna tartare, both were delicious.

Excellent food, excellent service, those who wish to rush and then complain should not be in France...

Very welcome, I recommend the rib steak which was delicious, as well as the whipped strawberries.

The fish are good and fresh, the poor accompaniments (a spoon of mashed potatoes, a few slices of carrots that were originally described by "vegetables"), no presentation of plate, our waitress not smiling and impatient (the rest of the Team seemed lovely), the prices really expensive for what it is (150 for four for 4 courses, 2 desserts and 1 bottle of wine). We left disappointed.

Mediocre food at a high cost and terrible service. The menu doesn't actually tell you how the fish is prepared or what it comes with and the waitstaff is so busy they don't have the patience to explain anything to you and are quite short with you, not to mention forgetful. I ordered the half crab as an appetizer because I thought it was a crab salad. It was delicious but frankly much better at another Bordeaux restaurant (Le Crab Marteau--better mayonnaise, more food, etc). Then I waited for over an hour for my fish, which was one of the recommended dishes. I honestly thought they forgot to put the order in because it took so long to get it. I went up to pay and the waiter told me I'd get my fish in 2 minutes. He was right, I got it in 2 min but i didnt have any silverware so I asked for silverware so I could eat the dish I had been waiting for. That took another 20 min. By the time I started eating the fish was overcooked and not as warm. The waiter brought me a free glass of wine for the wait. Then I waited to pay. They have small cakes as digestifs for people paying but they forgot to offer me one. I didnt care because I honestly wanted to get out of there. There are so many great restaurants in Bordeaux, why not try those instead!

It is the magnificent restaurant! There is a lot of seafood. It's very good!

Nice restaurant, varied menu with lots of fish but not that. Choice of wines correct and nice home. However, I recently returned and unfortunately found that the service had lost effectiveness. Too many tables? Bottling in the kitchen? I do not know but the wait between the dishes was more than 30 minutes ... To improve otherwise the rest is good.

Excellent address. Top cuisine and exceptional hospitality of the boss and staff who are humorous and who pamper guests as they would intimate friends.

Non existent management and total lack of service. Agreed that food is meh with review below, but not bad overall. Prices reasonable but total lack of service/management ruined our evening.

The low down: waited ages for our food (we're talking over an hour) and were given the wrong food when it arrived. I think this restaurant is all hype as it's clearly popular, but no delivery.

Last night's strolling through bordeaux was immensely improved by finding La petit commerce. Staff were excellent and knowledgeable about the food and wine. And not afraid to recommend. Listen to them.
Charcuterie starter was awesome but was outdone by Nicola's smoked marinated herrings. Smoked over beech in the restaurant. The confit duck was superb but the skate with lemon butter and capers was soft and tasted bloody good.

Excellent oysters and I recommend fried mussels ... I forgot the excellent grilled conolicchi. And top desserts .... but maybe I would first say what was not good and frankly I liked everything. Price included

We found it by chance and it was a success. The menu is very good and the menu looked great. The staff was very attentive and pleasant. recommendable

Very good restaurant (the only one in the area that offers so many varieties of seafood). The team is attentive and friendly. A piano hears you in room 3 if you feel like it, you can do it. I highly recommend this place

The waiting time is amazing! 2:00 to be served (oysters and shrimp)
The waiters are nice but we have trouble for them when we hear the boss talk to them ... drunk person, more than dubious jokes. I do not dare to repeat what I heard ... the products are fresh though and we eat well.

A dinner on the evening of July 14th we thought we could not sit but the waiters managed to find us a place on the terrace!
A delight when the dishes arrive, very rich, the plate of seafood overflows! a delight. Bravo!

Approved by the hairs, very good oysters but normal mullets, with little tight cooking and bland accompaniment. Baba dessert to forgettable rum. Young and very attentive service.

Food was "meh" at best. Service and atmosphere were good.

Bad experience today! The dishes arrived late, the side dishes were cold, a half-frozen artichoke bottom, the mashed potato was cold and bland, the eggplant inedible and all for an exorbitant price. When you pay 85euros for a meal you expect quality, but it was not. However the fish was good, which saves barely and the waiters very pleasant. We will not go back !!!

Usually we go there during the week and on Sunday a crazy world the waiters exceeded we were quickly shipped the paella there was a lot of rice and lacked ingredients displayed ... my friend took rib steak excellent meat nice piece on the other hand not much to garnish ...

It was very good, just a little expensive. However, the place is EXTREMELY noisy and not at all relaxing, whether indoors or outdoors. In addition, the staff does not seem too attentive ....

Restaurant serving excellent products however the prices are excessive ... and even if it is excellent, you do not get what you pay for! Pity.

Chick and fat dishes. the langoustines no longer had any taste because of the olive oil. To eat properly without wine it is 40 to 50 . This is clearly a bad address. By cons oysters and wine were nickel.

We had grilled sardines, oysters, boudin noir (blood sausage) with apples and potatoes, and the grilled fish mix.

Seafood was very fresh, service was fine but not excellent. We enjoyed the meal and experience overall. We were also in the section across from the main restaurant, would have preferred to be in the other section but not the end of the world. There were plenty of locals beside us I don't think they were purposefully stuffing foreigners in a special section as another reviewer mentioned.
