Le Meridien Jeddah Review

So far, this is the dirtiest hotel I ever been to. The whole hotel stinks. Floors, walls, tables are not cleaned. Bed sheets are dirty. I checked out early because I couldn t stay at such place. Don t ever think of staying there!

Very bad welcoming and rude behavior with the quests.

At first, I KNOW the rules that the person having to be present himself if the booking is under his name, But I arrived at the hotel before my friend who made the booking and they refused to let me in before his arrival and I agreed because that s how it is. The problem is when I went to sit in the lobby while waiting for him for about two hours as he was still on board of the plane literally, they told me you can t sit because of COVID-19.

Seriously! What kind of a hotel that let their guests wait while standing because of a minor issue like this? Then the receptionist sent two people separately to tell me I should get up as I am not allowed to sit here but I didn t, while other foreigners were sitting right next to me on the other side but they didn t tell them anything.

The surprising part is that they are pretending to follow the rules put in place by the government concerning COVID-19 but they are not following them fully as one of the staff who came to talk to me was the security guard who I walked by and didn t check my temperature nor asked me to show him Tawakkalna health status which is contradicting what the receptionist said to me about not being allowed to sit while not checking Tawakkalna app on the entrance!!!!

At the end, they literally came to remove all the sofas that I was sitting on!!

Nice rooms and fine dining. Lobby is a bit old but people are trying their best to have great customer experience. I enjoyed my stay, the breakfast and the gim.

The hotel is featured with some awesome points such:

- in the middle of the city , and located in one of served streets.
- there is a pedestrians area where you can chillin there.

It's a 5 Star property in main Jeddah. I stayed in Royal Club room and enjoyed my stay. The room equipped with all necessities and very spacious. Breakfast is served at La Brasserie restaurant with good variety of food options. Staff members are courteous and helpful.

A five star hotel located in a good area where you can reach anywhere in Jeddah. Suitable for both leisure and business trips

This is a 2 star hotel and there is nothing like a 5 star in this. The elevators are old and shabby and very dirty, the rooms are smelly and lighting is inadequate. The bathrooms are smelly too and there is no proper bath area, only a bathtub where you can take shower. The room has very old TVs and there are basic amenities missing such as iron board.
