Went to a celebration meeting, 51 attended and not many happy. We had been before a few years ago and it was brilliant. The beef this time brought to mind Forest ponies and the bar was expensive, we will not be going there again Which is a shame as we enjoyed it so much the previous time.,
Lovely food with large portions. Friendly service and good value. Nice setting.

Just had a phone call to cancel my accomodation booking despite booking over a week ago and having spent over 2 hours getting here... now will have to search to find somewhere else to stay last minute... awful service.

Had a meal here and it was very enjoyable, but it didn't seem as good as on a previous visit a few years ago. On the plus side, it was reasonably priced for what was served. I don't think the service was very good, as we had to ask a couple of times for things. I would have previously said it was a place for a special occasion, but my visit this time, I would go elsewhere for something special.

Great quality food, fantastic value for money, great service. Definitely a place I'd recommend, a real hidden gem.
