Convenient spot for food and coffee. You may find yourself satisfied with the choice if you are a fan of France cusine as the cafe offers a French inspired menu,... and dog friendly attitude which can be a plus for someone. Food is good. The ice long black coffee was quite weak, and it lacked in taste. Maybe just the blend. The croissant was good. I will give them another go.

Wonderful set dinner menus a few Fridays each month...menu is amazing and different each month. Lovely friendly staff whom we have got to know and a relaxed atmosphere on verandah . Thoroughly recommend

I was having trouble deciding on which of the many tempting options to have from the excellent menu , and then had the daily specials offered to me. Prawn baguette with lettuce, tomato and avocado and a cocktail sauce was fantastic. The baguette was perfect, and the filling delicious. The service was super friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit. Good food here , French Chef for sure , delicious , presentation , priced well , Good Coffee , happy I made the visit , will be back Yes

Great breakfast spot
My husband and I had a wonderful breakfast here with a very good coffee. The food came out very quickly, was delicious and beautifully presented. We were very impressed with the baguette which had a good thick crust and chewy centre! No wonder it's so popular!!

We stopped for a quick bite on Sunday morning.The service was quick, friendly and efficient. We ordered coffee and a croissant served with French butter and strawberry jam. It did not disappoint. If we were not in such a hurry, I would have easily had more. It is to die for.

Coffee was good. Breakfast was microwaved ! Come on guys, learn to cook fresh without a microwave. Baguette was too hard and dry.

An awesome place for a brunch. I had the almond croissant, french spring lamb stew, baguatte and pistachii creme brulee. The food was delicious, as was the service. The place is a long walk away from the Broadbeach stop but it is worth it. Later on you can visit the mermaid beach and take a walk on the beach. Wonderful place, good food and a special someone made my day.

Our family had the loveliest lunches here this week- we kept coming back!. Everything was DELICIOUS. Croissants with ham and cheese (next level) Almond croissant, yummy vanilla slice, French pie, good coffee! Friendly service. Will drive from Brisbane for this cafe. Highly recommend!!

Great place. You can buy Raclette Cheese, fantastic. Nice restaurant for lunch and Friday dinner.

Little cozy cafe for breakfast or brunch. Love their avocado baguette, something you shouldn't missed. Salmon avocado bun taste good too. Staff are nice and friendly. If you have no idea where to for breakfast, can consider this.

drove there specially to have lunch. Checked online that they are open til 3pm prior. Got there are 1.30pm AND KITCHEN CLOSED AT 1.30pm when the sign outside says kitchen closes at 2 pm and website says 3 pm. Was really not happy

What an amazing place drove past decided to stop best coffee, amazing service and fast, freindly staff. Highly recommend.

Like a trip to France for the day - excellent food and service

Food was good however no presented as good as previously

Enjoyable atmosphere and the canine guests were very well behaved.
The atmosphere was a little rushed as we did not get there until late in their trading day.
In spite of this the food and the service were excellent.
We will return for breakfast there shortly as a perusal of the menu reveals it should prove both exciting and enjoyable.

I think it needs a bit of a renovation. New tables and chairs, kinda felt like I was in a study room or a business meeting.

Staff need to be a bit more conscious of new customers at the front, and a bit more friendly :) other than that it was good.

MY FRENCH CONNECTION

A french theme cafe with a french chef and french speaking staff. We took in this cafe for breakfast and loved it. Something completely different to the norm and we will be back. Accessibility friendly for people in wheelchairs and walkers with a ramp up to the veranda. The cafe is accommodated in an old building and the toilets will not accommodate a wheelchair. The staff are friendly, delightful, experienced and very personable. There is indoor and outdoor seating available as well as veranda seating. There are all sorts of french foods and sandwiches available. We availed ourselves of the daily specials and finished our meal off with a fresh made crassoint. Pastries are cooked on premises and are so delightfully fresh and tasty. I found the coffee to be tasty and not bitter or burnt. This is a dog friendly cafe with an assortment of doggy ice cream.

I hate having to dine with dogs seriously people can we just leave them at home!!! The desserts here are lovely as are the staff but please, enough with the dogs!!!

Le Cafe Gourmand located on Gold Coast Highway in Mermaid Beach was highly recommended by our local friends for its authentic French cuisine. Owner and chef Remi serves up delicious and beautifully presented dishes for breakfast and lunch.

They made me an excellent omelette, and some very good sourdough toast, and a big pot of tea. It was all delicious. I returned another morning, and had a slightly customised version of their eggs benedict. On both occasions the staff could not have been better, the food was very good indeed, and if I'm ever back over there, I shall have breakfast there again. Highly recommended. (They do take-out and fresh baked goods too).

Friendly staff here. Food was amazing. We had omelettes, very yummy, with French bread and French butter (from Brittany, salted butter). Desserts were awesome, we took delight in a Lemon pie and a Panna Cotta with fruits. And at the end, we had coffee, which were perfect too. Definitely, we recommend!

Lovely service, food came out in 5 mins, fresh and tasty. The Salted Caramel Chocolate Fondant was a hit with my daughter.
