I don't ever write reviews and I honestly don't remember the last time I have written one. My frustration is really big at the moment. I would not recommend this complex/this real estate company (LCOR Incorporated) to anyone. I had an extremely bad experience with the leasing office at Altaire apartments in Arlington, VA, property ran by LCOR incorporated. I never received my deposit from the online application I submitted on September 17, 2020. After I applied, I was scheduled to visit the apartment on September 21st. That day I was told my application was not complete and I needed to submit my proof of income in order to have my application fully executed. After visiting the apartment I was not sold by the size and the view that they were advertising could only be enjoyed by a few other apartments. So when I left I gave them a call the same day to withdraw my application and I chose to go with a different property. I was told that day that I would be reimbursed the full amount of what I submitted online since (technically) my application was never fully completed. I was told I would receive a check within 10 business days for the deposit and possibly the application fee as well. 9 weeks later I noticed I never got a refund so I called back the leasing office and they told me I did not receive the check since I moved from my old place and they will have to resend me a check to my new place. I thought it was weird since when I move all my mail was forwarded to my new place... 4 weeks later I still hadn't received the check. So I called basically once every week to check on the status without being able to get anyone at the leasing until I finally was able to connect with Emanuel who then told me I will not receive the deposit back because I canceled my application 4 days after submitted it. After a very heated conversation on the phone, I made him aware that he said to me that they had processed a refund before... (I guess that was a lie) Also it is not mentioned anywhere during the application process that applicants only have 48 hours to cancel the application before they can get the deposit back. (that is a lie as well as you can see on the screenshots) He was unable to show me written proof. And even if that was the case they never truly processed my application to provide me 48 hours to cancel. I was only able to see the place after 96 hours... I am extremely frustrated. Those who still wish to apply there just need to know that the deposit will not be refunded whether you cancel your application or not. I will not recommend this property to anyone...
