Was pleasantly surprised by a pair of complimentary flutes of champagne upon being seated.

I ordered the medium rare 35 day aged steak and it was a bit too well done for what I had in mind. It tasted good, but nothing exceptional. The steak was not served with dipping salt and upon asking, I was provided with a salt shaker. Scallops were sizable, but an okay value at $7/each.

Staff was friendly and respectful, but refilled my glass of water only after my wife provided me with her glass.

The parking garage at Olin ave was a horrible joke. They seemed to have reserved half of each floor for resident parking which causes traffic flow issue, I don't recall this issue in years past. Every car in the garage needed to do two 3 point turns in an attempt to find parking, and the capacity meters were flat out wrong. We ended up having to park at the garage on the end of Olsen, which required us to walk the length of Santana Row to make our reservation which resulted in us arriving 7 minutes late, though this was not a problem for our reservation as the staff seated us right away.

Me and my husband came here for his birthday dinner. Was a very nice experience! The food was beyond amazing. Got the arugula salad and the tomahawk steak for two. The best part of the experience was our server Corrine. She made the dinner even better. We will be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you for letting us share our birthday with you.

loved this place ! But don't understand why they slice cut my entire tomahawk steak? I'm an old man not a child. I don't need anyone cutting my steak for me. My mouth watering enjoyment of cutting my own steak went out the front door! Do you know what I mean? So I started turning the slices over and half of it was fat. I ordered it before and it was great and intact..

We came here for dinner on a week-day. There were many people, even during the pandemic. Seared pork belly and Chocolate lava cake (One of the best I ever had) were amazing. Both Rib-eye steak and NY strip steak were decent, not great. The service was good, overall we had a good time. Outdoor seating is nice and warm.

I would not expect to have the absolutely worst dining experience of the year (including 2020) from a place like this. But this is what we got on a Friday night. We made a reservation in advance and arrived on time. We were told to wait until the table was free. And wait we did - actually, the hosts forgot about us right away. We were waiting by the door and by the end I was asked 3! times what was my name for the reservation over 10-15 minutes of wait, with no result. Want to feel like a third-class citizen ? here you go. Finally we managed to get some attention and were walked to the table. Despite there were quite a few free tables with no signs of reservation around, we ended up being offered the one in the corner in the worst drafty spot in the establishment. We didn't like it and let the host know. He was standing and waiting with 'take it or leave, I don't care' expression. We said we'd take it, he left , and then I walked to the reception and asked for a replacement. Ok, we got one, which was kinda ok, except for the moments when it was drizzling. No awning, no replacement offered. We made the order. It took quite a while. The food was fine, although I would at least expect pepper from a steak place - wasn't offered any at all. Oh, no bread and butter either. Overall it seemed like the waiters were too busy. Took them some time to bring the check, too, while we absolutely wanted to leave asap by then. This is not a cheap place, the bill was `$300 - worst spent, extremely poor experience. My first, and ABSOLUTELY the last visit. Avoid this place if you don't want to spoil your evening.

This resturant was excellent. I havent had high priced steak. It was a nice trip to the resturant to treat myself. We went for a birthday dinner. My filet mignon was tender and cooked to order. The sauces had a very different taste than wht I was expexting. The mac and cheese was delicious. I also had bread pudding for the first time.

The bike show going by made the night. Outside dining at its best with quick seating for walk-ins. Had the aged rib eye and it was seared to a crisp edge sealing in the flavor, Perfecto!

The five stars are for the carpaccio alone. I m not into raw meat but the meat didn t feel raw at all. And with pickled vegetables, berries and garlic salt, it tasted heavenly. Cowboy steak was great too. Filet mignon was okay, the rub was a little bitter for my taste.

We've dined-in at LB Steak serveral times during the pandemic and gotten takeout twice. I highly recommend the takeout, as the meals held up well during travel and were still hot and tasty when we got home. The first time we dined in we were seated on the sidewalk, which I found uncomfortably close to passing traffic. The second time they had re-arranged and put us under a large canopy with plenty of distancing, which I felt much better about.

The food is excellent but expensive. The quality is very high though and certainly worth the premium price if you can swing it. I've always just gotten one of the steaks and every time it's grilled perfectly medium-rare, just like I ordered it. I've tried both the bearnaise sauce and the blue cheese butter and they are both excellent, so I imagine the bordelaise and peppercorn sauces are too.
