Can't not write a review after tonight, terrible behavior by employees. I saw the cashier harass and solicit tips from numerous customers. Very disappointed from them plus I go all the time (probably not anymore).
Joe (who I would like to think as a long time friend from visiting lay-z shopper) kicked me out for going to the restroom. He always let me go to the restroom and when I would ask to go to the restroom he would reply, and I quote, don t ask me, you re always welcome to go to the restroom, you know where it is. With that being said, I was kicked out, for going to the restroom the one time I didn t ask Joe! The guy acted like he had no clue who I was... not to mention I have easily spent hundreds of dollars there and even had an order in the process, which he cancelled, because I no longer belong there since I trespassed. Ridiculous...
I am the son of the owner. I will tell you that my Dad has cameras here. If any of his workers do anything bad, he calls them and fires them. There was a review about a worker on the phone, that guy needs to stop lying. They try their best to be clean and organized, otherwise they are fired. So, if you even think about lying here, don't even try. Seriously.
They've expanded to next door, new layout, much bigger inside, much better than last yr. Aisles are larger, more selection. All good. Big subs for sale here too. Fresh meats and things. Menu in my pics

Joseph is the man! I've lived in Athens for around 20 years now, so I've been here since day one of this shop and all I can say is that the manager right now is the best manager it's ever had. Any issue I've ever witnessed while this man's there, it's been resolved quickly and quietly. I just hope he's getting paid what he is deserved. I hope you see this, dude!
Disgusting customer service tonight. I used to go here often, not anymore after the girl working cashier acted tonight. She acted absolutely unprofessional, enough to make me write my first review online. They will have to change their behavior and professionalism before I order another sub again.

love this place and the workers are great but heads up they sell fake vapes from china that are marketed as real products so they can make more profit! Illegal and dangerous. Also they still charge the real price too and they break/taste weird/don't last.
Disrespected as a 3 year customer is an understatement... the staff are terrible and the management is the worst part! Who hires people like the people who work at this place?!? Bugs everywhere and the manager thinks it s funny when it gets brought up!!!
