Linda was not adequate for my purposes. Despite knowing my spouses attorneys qualifications, she failed to inform me that she is not well versed with custody law. Sometimes it felt like she was on the other side. She was more interested in her retainer and was unable to keep promises that she made at the initial interview.
I hired Linda for her assistance with my divorce after 21 yrs of marriage. Linda and her team are experts in the field of collaborative divorce, were always professional, courteous and responsive. Linda and her team made me feel comfortable and secure in an otherwise very uncomfortable and insecure environment. Linda is an amazing mediator. What should have been an uncomplicated mediation, my ex made complicated. Linda repeatedly met with us to try and work out the terms of the divorce. And as difficult as things were, she finally was able to negotiate terms that gave my children and I our freedom. Linda managed to do what my ex's own attorney was unable to do.

As most woman are when confronting divorce, I was scared, confused and doubting my self when I first met Linda Piff. She immediately put me at ease and assured me that all would work out. Despite having steeled myself against the rigors of what was to come, I was blinded by the system.She helped me come up with a plan on how to leave my husband, what records to keep, what details to log and when the finality of it all could be achieved. She managed my expectations, fears and confusion. Most importantly, she gave my the comfort to know that for the first time in a long time, someone was looking out for me and my child.
Once she filed the initial legal notice to my ex-husband, she calmed my nerves when I feared his wrath and irrationality. I worried about money and my safety. I worried about my child and visits with his dad. I would shake after horrendous verbal tirades against me and my child. Through this all, Linda kept me clam and on point. She told me what to focus on and how to keep forging ahead. When I neared the declaration of divorce, she successfully negotiated an even stronger parental, visitation and custody plan then what was proposed prior. The divorce decree gave me everything I could have wanted while still be fair to me ex-husband.
Now looking back at it two months after the fact, the divorcee has made my relationship with me ex immensely more manageable. It gave us a fair, equitable and functioning documents in which to lead our lives and that of our son. While we still have some rough spots, it gives us boundaries and certainty.
I often said to my family and friends that Linda was a gift from God. While that my seem like a strong statement, I can assure you its true based on where I was and where I finished.
I have no idea how I would have gotten through the divorce process without Linda. She is extremely knowledgeable, makes herself very accessible, and was an expert at calming my nerves through the worst parts of the process. What I thought would be a pretty easy divorce, quickly turned complicated and Linda was there for me every step of the way. I am happy to say that, with Linda's expertise, we got through it. Today, my children are happy, I'm happy, and I have an amicable relationship with my ex. I couldn't ask for much more than that.

Never expecting to ever get a divorce I found myself in this situation. Not knowing where to go I was recommended to call Linda Piff. This was the best choice I could of made. I was served divorce papers while I was away on business, even though my ex and I had agreed to use collaborative law to avoid extra fees and aggravation. Being upset and shocked by this, I reached out to a close friend who recommended Linda to me. Even though collaborative law was unfortunately taken off the table, Linda also had the expertise in traditional divorce law.
I contacted her immediately and her kind staff quickly calmed me down and assured me that I was going to be okay. Linda worked diligently on my case. My ex s attorney sent non stop threatening communications and not once did Linda let that effect our progress. The demands from my ex, especially with regards to alimony, were so overwhelming for me but Linda did a great job explaining the NJ law and helping me to understand how we could move forward in a way that would be fair. My divorce was finalized after 6 months which is so quick compared to the nightmares that I hear from other friends.
The biggest thing I want to stress in this review is, not only Linda s tremendous knowledge and her staff s sense of urgency, but the kindness and support that I felt during the entire process. I would call the office crying and within minutes my mind was put at ease. I would get concerned about the future for my daughters and I and Linda and her staff would be my encouragement.

I wouldn't reccomend divorce to anyone. If you must do it, Linda Piff is the attorney you need. Linda's professional accumen, empathy and understanding make an unbearable situation, bearable. She and her dedicated staff always made me feel like their top priority and never like their firms bottom line. Her ability to understand and fight for the desired outcome I required, yet doing it in a civil manner while not letting things get out of control shows her to be the truly multi-faceted lawyer that she is. I retained Linda Piff for divorce mediation and after being completely ineffective and unhelpful she actually later represented my ex against me which is clearly an unethical conflict of interest. She is a greedy, unethical, incompetent hack. You'd be better off throwing your money off a bridge than hiring her for anything!
At first i thought Linda was great. I am on disability and she agreed to type some letters for me and notorize a will on a sliding scale basis. However when I came back to get a copy of my will, she claimed not to have it on file. Here I thought I had taken care of things and it was a false security.
