On March 27th 2021, My now husband and I had our wedding reception here at Lauriston House. Chriso, Victoria and the team have me lost for words. Our wedding was more than what we expected. The vibes were high and everyone enjoyed themselves and the food. Chriso went above and beyond to make our day a special one. She was always efficient when I had my millions of questions and had great communication when things needed to be sorted. She was so positive during the night and our family and friends all got along with her. Having Chriso and Victoria at the wedding they were constantly checking up on guests and especially our families. In all honesty, Chriso, you felt to us like you were one of us. We appreciate all that you and the team did to make our night a memorable one. Cannot wait to see our professional photos and videos from such a stunning function room. Thank you so so so so much. Thank you Victoria, Paul and the team at Lauriston House for making our day such a special day. Everything was great and they were so accommodating with all our requirements and extremely responsive to everything even on the night. Paul was an extremely good MC as well as host on the night and went above and beyond at any time we had an issue. Couldn't have asked for a better night and our friends and family have said the same.

So, when I was a little girl I had always dreamt of my perfect Wedding Day. That s dream came true last night. Peter and I just wanted to say a BIG and MASSIVE Thankyou to you and your team for such a memorable night. The night was flawless and everything went smoothly as planned. We have had so much positive feedback from our family and guests, from your endless generosity and seamless service through to your team s premium hospitality. The night was perfect and was effortless for us which gave us more time to enjoy the night and absorb the moment.

The owner is a control freak and even tell me how to take photos for the couple, and ruin the opportunity that I can took that beautiful picture for the couple! Also the food is terrible in there, The beef is hard like a brick . The owner should know photo and video teams in charge of the photo for the couple , not you! Stay the hell out of my way! Don t teach me how I shoot the photos and videos! Or I just keep telling couple not to book your reception!

Where do I even start... our wedding was one of the first weddings affected by the pandemic in March 2020. We have planned this with Chris, Victoria and Paul for 2 years. Unfortunately in the week of our weeding the COVID-19 restrictions came in and until 2 days before the weeding we were not sure whether we will be able to go ahead or not. Chris, Victoria and Paul were super supportive and understanding of our circumstances from the very beginning and worked with us towards suitable solutions for both parties.

They allowed us reschedule our reception to a date of our choosing with full money paid transferred to the new date! We could not have hoped for the better outcome. We both knew that Lauriston House has suffered a loss, as our wedding was cancelled 2 days before its original date. Regardless, Victoria did everything she could to offer us the best possible outcome and service.

At the end, our wedding was magical. Lauriston House has outdone themselves to make our day super special. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious and all the staff was going out of their way to assist our guests. We cannot thank Lauriston House enough for making this such a great experience.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Chris and Paul on details. It felt like we have known each other for years and they were personally invested in the planning and preparations. They were very flexible in accommodating any requests that we may have had. This is kind of service that can only be delivered when the focus of the venue is on you only.

We had our wedding reception here back in 2001. This week we went back for a look down memory lane. A few things have changed like the carpet and furnishings which all looked beautiful. But some things haven't changed like the welcoming feeling when you walk in, the delicious chicken and mushroom crepe and Victoria and her family who are still looking after brides and grooms after all these years. Once you become part of the Lauriston House family, you stay that way. Highly recommend.

The service Lauriston House provided was great as upon calling them and wishing to get a same-day appointment, they were able to get us an appointment. Victoria showed us every bit of the place and even gave us ideas on how the place will look wonderful in the evening.

I had goosebumps as soon as I entered the dining hall and immediately knew we had to get this venue for our reception. The next bride who came for an appointment had tears in her eyes too after entering the dining hall. That s how beautiful and breathtaking the venue is.

This place does one event per day only which means, you get the whole venue to yourself. The venue s pricing is reasonable and in my opinion, affordable!

The place was so beautiful that my partner and I weren t able to take pictures of them, but do check them out on their social media accounts for quality photos of the venue. They won t disappoint!

Even if my wedding is still far away, I am excited to celebrate this day with my loved ones at Lauriston House!

Tips: Don t worry about parking space as they will explain where all the cars will be parked along with a map.

We are in the beginning stages of planning our wedding and during this time it has become clear that Victoria is the stand out, in both quality in venue and also ease to work with. Victoria has been a relief with our wedding planning and cannot thank her enough. She is an obvious professional in her industry and cannot wait to work more closely to her in the lead up to our big day. A big thank you to Victoria, her daughter and her staff for making us feel as welcome as they have. Highly recommend!

As a Marriage Celebrant,Lauriston House is one of my favourite venues to work with, Christine and all the staff are so welcoming and wonderfully organised. The ceremony space in the gazebo garden is stunning and creates a little Oasis for couples to exchange vows. The beautiful Lauriston House building is a delight and the amazing reception room is like a fairyland. I love that couples have the place to themselves on their special day and that both ceremony and reception are beautifully catered for. I highly recommend Lauriston House to any prospective couples seeking a memorable venue for their wedding day.
