Got a very good iced Americano for a decent price and a chocolate donut! Happy to support the farmers who supply the beans. The seating outside the cafe was a nice touch to sit and relax

Excellent cappuccino, really nice place, very clean and modern.

I've followed this shop on Instagram since it opened. I'm a major Hugh Jackman fan and ice forever wanted to visit this shop.

My girlfriend and I made a trip to New York with the trip planned around visiting here. It lived up to my every expectation. The entire crew was nice and efficient for working in tight quarters. The drinks were exceptional. And the vibe was perfect.

Great coffee! Got an iced mocha and the espresso is fantastic. Friendly enough baristas and the store was very neat. Neighborhood is great, but wish they had a little more seating in shaded areas. I read for a few hours to out front to kill time before a flight and if you're a fan of dogs or watching children be led by on leashes, this is the spot for you! >_<

My favorite place in the city. Especially in summer when the terrace is a great place.

Christopher is a top notch barista. My expresso was on point! I also had a cafe mocha which was really good. Not overly sweet and the roast still came through. A+.

Not only are you buying delicious coffee, you're supporting the Laughing Man Foundation every time you make a purchase. I was extremely excited to be able to come to NYC and make a purchase in support of Hugh Jackman's amazing work. I highly encourage everyone to read up on the amazing things that Laughing Man is doing. Hugh Jackman is making the world a better place on the big screen and around the world.

The coffee shop is very small, but they've utilized the space very well. You'll notice that their pastries are stored tightly along the wall. Other item are fancily package and in their little coolers below. It's pretty cool. My Cold Brew and Almond Croissant were both delicious. The Cold Brew is strong, which any coffee drinker will appreciate. Smooth too. I'm not sure where the pastries come from, but they were delicious and fresh.

It's a grab and go type of coffee shop (express, if you want to call it that). They also have seating outside, which is great for a nice day. In cold weather, I doubt anyone wants to be sitting out there. Check out my photo. It was particularly nice on this day.

I'll be making multiple visits while in NYC. Still have to check out their Lavender Latte or the Flat White. Did someone say smooth? I'm there!!!

Very simple review. Fabulous almond lattes. The best. Food selection not very good, but their focus is clearly coffee.

It's small, you stop at the door and they take your order right there without entering, normal coffee, it has a couple of specialties, I ordered both and normal

I ordered Flat White for Hugh Jackman's Australian shop. The impression is that Australia is more delicious. But I think it's inevitable that milk is better in Australia.

First time to visit the cafe. The atmosphere was cool as a cucumber and the staffs were very friendly, made me a good coffee. Had the Flat White Coffee and it's very delicious, not too sweet & perfect temperature. They have also good selection of freshly baked goodies like Chocolate Almond Croissant which is perfect pair for your coffee. a little pricey, but worth the money. I'll definitely back again.

They make proper coffee and espresso based drinks. They are professionals, unlike Starbucks' garbage sugar drink.

This place should have nothing but 5 stars - outstanding service, delicious coffee - its a solid spot to stop! Side note perk - for being so small, the design is simple and elegant - great pictures of the behind the scenes! Also, the heartbeat behind this company is what I love most. There are a lot of places with good coffee, but not many care about who is producing the beans and where its all coming from. Coffee is one of the most predatory and abusive (to farmers and workers) industries in our world and companies like Laughing Man are working to not only change that, but create a positive impact. I was so thrilled to see this in action and finally taste the product itself on my most recent trip to NY. If you want to not only grab a great cup of coffee, but support the way things should be done in business - go get your coffee here!

I was at this location many moons ago and had the best flat white there. The flat white I got there recently was just awful. Maybe it was an off day but sigh had to see it not be consistent.

I loved this place and am so glad I took the time to stop here. As someone who looks for ways to be eco-friendly and help our planet. Hugh Jackman really knocked this one out of the park. I had a soya chai latte which was amazing and even managed to pick up some coffee as gifts for family.

Amazing location, cute store, amazing coffee, awesome staff! One thing I REALLY wish they had was a reward system though since every other coffee place does it for the amount of money we are spending, but the items are so good that I'm still giving this place 5 stars.

It's a bit confusing in there. Shop is small and there isn't a menu. Kind of have to know what you want but they do a good job

Great little coffee shop! Looking for somewhere to have a nice coffee and cake for my parents, and I found this coffeeshop near my place. The coffee and cakes were so good, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is so relaxing and clean. Highly recommended to all!

This place became one of my fav to hang out. It's a chill and quiet place to come by myself or with my friends and have coffee. Their pistachio latte is soo good! They also have beans on the counter for you to smell and pick out. Even if you dont know a lot about coffee youll be able to find your preference easily. Definitely recommended.

HJ s instagram brought me here. After reading about Laughing Man Foundation I immediately went there. Fantastic little place with a nice outdoor seating. Great tasting coffee. Almond Chocolate croissant is a must try!

This place was a real delight! I was greeted with friendly faces and the matcha latte was delicious.

As Melburnians desperate for a good coffee we trekked all the way across town to try this place. Was not disappointed. Lovely staff making a superb coffee. Strayan's - specifically Melburnians - get on it!!

Here's some more for reference as to my tastes:
I will say Happy Bones in NoLIta is a close second to Laughing Man.
Dean & Deluca, a solid go to.. And better than Starbucks.
Balthazar is negative 5 on 5. Literally the worst.
Let's burn the coffee beans, let them get stale for a year and then grind them. Let them sit in the sun. And then brew a cup of joe. Deeeeesgusting.
But let's move back to a happier note... Laughing man: coffee perfection.

Using simple sugar syrup in iced coffee would be better. I got sugar crystals in mine.

Love their coffee, teas and biscotti. Now for the warmer months they also have nice outdoor seating. Definitely come here for coffee if you are in the TriBeCa area.

Heard about this place on CBS Sunday morning so my husband and I drove in for the weekend from Long Island- well done HJ! Grab some kcups for home if you can't make it there everyday. We will be back.

This coffee shop is hidden in the alley near Montgomery. I was looking for this coffee shop and passed by it twice. It might be hard to find but I love the neighborhood. It's a small tiny coffee shop. The coffee is good. You can sit outside in front with your friends. And the coffee cup is cute!

Sorry guys, i tried to like this coffee, but it just came out very bitter, no matter how i ground it, course or fine, or how i made it, strong or medium, it came out bitter.... and i am used to drinking strong black coffee. I'm talking about "Dukale's Dream" expresso. Maybe i just got a bad batch, oh well, life goes on. Also, though it was not bad, i was expecting a smoother more flavorful taste of the sulawesi. A small coffee shop with a cute outdoor seating area with artificial grass. The coffee here is good, but a little on the pricey side. Some of the pre-made drinks have interesting flavor combinations. I tried the iced white chocolate lavender mocha. It was subtly sweet and smooth. An added plus: the shop, which is owned by Hugh Jackman, donates all the proceeds to charity.

Nice little spot, but my cappuccino was nothing special. Can't compare blue bottle coffee.

This cafe is small and cute. I loved the green exterior which definitely stood out as you walked by. I had the Matcha spiced latte with their homemade marshmallow. The drink sounds weird, but the combination of flavors paired beautifully. You can skip on the marshmallow, which was way too sweet.

Exquisite quality coffee and very friendly and welcoming team. I tried it first time ... definitely coming back. Also looking forward to trying Morning breakfast items like cookies and crossaint

This place is TINY, but really good. They serve all of your coffee/espresso staples, plus what looks like some seasonal variations (think lavender lattes, etc.). I had a cortado and stuck around the shop to sip it on some conveniently placed seats outside. I'd definitely return if in the Tribeca area.

Probably one of the best places in NYC. Started many morning s here. And now that I am back to the city, planning to start many more mornings here.

I usually go to work early so I went to this coffee shop for some morning run. I was really awed with this place because of how the quality of service the staff catered to their customers, above all, their coffee and their pastry products were out of this world! I commend all their products, from their freshly brewed coffee to their sumptuous cake. Not only that, but they also have a very nice ambiance that even though I am not a morning person at all, I ll be happy to wake up early to visit this place. They usually close around noon time for some sanitary purposes which really is a plus since I am in the medical field. I commend this place for all ages.

Laughing Man has a mean (read: great) espresso, with plenty of options and a friendly crew. The shop is just a tiny little dent in its building, but their coffee is a good way to start the day.
