Well made Cortado -- they do a very good job here -- just not my style of coffee flavor. Leaned towards fruity and raisins whereas I prefer more dark chocolate and nutty notes; I definitely prefer when an espresso bar offers both options.
I had high expectations when I entered Laughing Man with my husband for the first time, after so much social media hype. Thankfully, I was not disappointed! The coffee and hot chocolate here is nothing short of masterful. Hot drinks ready to drink when handed to you, and full of a fragility of flavor that makes you stop for a minute to appreciate the combination of warmth and taste. I half expected to pay a premium for such premium drinks, but no, the prices seem almost too low for the quality! Last but not least, the staff are wonderfully personable, and greet everyone with a smile!
I highly recommend Laughing Man for service and quality!

This coffee has an elegant and rustic environment than any other coffee shop I had been to. Their coffee tastes better than other shops in the city. I always buy my morning coffee here before heading to work. I always crave their coffee and muffins! Their price is much cheaper than any coffee shop in the city. The best!
Tiny place with no seating and very expensive drinks ($7.44 for small hit chocolate in late 2019)

If you love good cup of coffee, Hugh Jackman, and using your money for good cause, then this is the coffee shop to visit! Many says that they have the best coffee, latte, and espresso in NYC, and I might just agree with that, and that is coming from a non coffee lover. Yes, I am more of a tea lover, but I do appreciate a good cup of coffee. And here, I had THE best Flat White, ever.
However, I must warn you, the inside is super small. I heard it was small, but upon visiting, I was surprised of how small it really was. There is no seating, other than small bench by the small window, and that is mostly used for people who are waiting for the coffee anyways. It gets packed after a handful of people in there. But it is worth the wait in the crowded, tiny little space.
We got Hugh s favorite, Flat White, and a special of the day, White Chocolate Lavender Mocha. If you are not familiar with Flat White, it is a beverage that originated in Australia, yes, where our beloved Huge is from. It is prepared by pouring microfoam (kind of steamed milk) over a single or double shot of espresso. I ve had Flat White in the past, but none of them were this good. It was smooth, velvety, deep in aroma and flavor. It costs around $4, but it was totally worth it! Now I have more than one thing to thank Australia for; Hugh and Flat White (and Koala). Tiny shop, but with spring here there is significant seating outside in a nice area. Try something new, so many options to choose from.
Great service. Great music and excellent product selection. I love the other offerings like overnight oats, Dirty Lemon brand water and other fun hard-to-find goodies!! I got one of their wonderful signature hats! Thank you Laughing Man, I will be back soon!!

Every time I walk in this place, it is FULL of bees. No, I don't mean there is 1-2 bees hanging out outside the door, I mean at least 5-6 bees are buzzing around inside the restaurant around the counter, sugar and milk, and most importantly, my coffee!!

Tiny little coffee shop owned by Hugh Jackman. Brilliant flat whites made by charismatic baristas. All profits are donated to the Laughing Man Foundation. I wouldn't want to spend my money anywhere else on coffee. Too bad I don't live here else I'd come all the time.

Great coffee and friendly staff. It's a small space but the rumor is it'll move into a larger area next door some time in 2020. The limited footprint is well designed and there were multiple staff working there.
Pleasant as expected. I came from Sunnyside NY and explore the TriBeca area to get bags of coffee and my cup came out free. It was expensive but well worth it. I hope to get an order of bags of beans online as Texas don't have you. Wish you guys have a shop near the Medical Center I will be your fan daily.

It is a very small and busy cafe, but the staff was very helpful and kind despite that. My coffee came out fast even though it was realllly crowded. Good coffee, a bit weaker but I am used to extra strong coffee, so that my comment with a grain of salt. Prices weren't too much and the profits go towards coffee farmer families, which i like.

I wish that they would open a second location even closer to me! They have great coffee and great bagel sandwiches, but the service is very fast.

This is my first time to Laughing Man Coffee and I a great americano here today. Service was friend and the cafe was really cute. I m happy I found this cafe and will be back again soon!
I got the Flat White with oat milk, and it did not disappoint! It was so smooth and strong enough without being bitter. The cups are a bit small, but I'm assuming it has to do with it being a "for charity" coffee place. But otherwise, it was a nice experience.
Coffee was good. The coffee was not hot. I guess all businesses are slow these days so it might sit longer then normal.
I actually didn't have it but I REALLY want to and for a coffee lover I sure will love me a laughing man coffee

Something special about this super tiny hipster coffee spot. Well crafted cappuccino and super affordable (2 almond croissants + almond capp for about $8). Great vibe, bright space, beans to go, parklet outside with benches for enjoying your drinks on the charming Duane St. And obviously the best name ever.
The cappuccino is ok- the iced coffee was better and pretty strong!

This cute little coffee shop does not come close to the best coffee I've had, but the flat white is decent enough. Barista is very friendly. Outdoor sitting area with wood benches and artificial grass underneath is lovely too.

Great coffee. Decent price. The people are really nice and quick to help. It's a small place so you may wait outside and customers can be slow to adjust to a "flow of traffic" but it's a minor quibble.

Decent coffee but not much better/different than most coffee shop premium beans. Happy to support the cause here, though. Note - to be environmentally friendly, they need to serve coffee in ceramic cups, not paper, for those who want to sit outside and sip their cup.
