Here's some more for reference as to my tastes:
I will say Happy Bones in NoLIta is a close second to Laughing Man.
Dean & Deluca, a solid go to.. And better than Starbucks.
Balthazar is negative 5 on 5. Literally the worst.
Let's burn the coffee beans, let them get stale for a year and then grind them. Let them sit in the sun. And then brew a cup of joe. Deeeeesgusting.
But let's move back to a happier note... Laughing man: coffee perfection.
