Food was delicious! Never disappointed when eating here. Flavours are very yummy. Great vibe/atmosphere. We ordered garlic parmesan pizza bread, tortellini and a seafood pasta dish, la spiagia dessert and sorbet. Partner said kikg prawns and mussels was perfect. Dough for bread was light and fluffy. All round delicious

The more freshly baked pizza bread is in the oven, the more you chew and the lasagna is very delicious. The staff were friendly and enjoyed the view of the sea and the food was good.

They were in Takapuna and took the risk to change location. Nothing has changed and it has even got better. Go there and enjoy.

We are regular locals and were so happy to finally have a wonderful restaurant in the heart of Murray's Bay, the staff are so friendly and welcoming we love the family feel this restaurant has, They always take good care of My Mum and Granny and have made birthdays and special occasions a real treat. I guess I should talk about the food then, well what's not to love? Classic Italian dishes made with love, The slow roasted pork belly is a favourite of ours, so tender and served with a delicious sauce, the Steaks are perfectly cooked and great wines to match, We will be coming to La Spiaggia for many years to come :) Thank you from the Murphy's

Busy Italian restaurant by the beach. The pizza was excellent and the service is nice. Spaghetti dish was a bit average but there were other attractions on the menu that we haven t tried. Definitely will come back.

The food, to put it simply is the BEST. I have been to the restaurant several times and each dish is an explosion of flavour that always has the WOW factor. Maria and team put their heart and soul into ensuring the customers needs come first, placing value on service, presentation, cleanliness and overall dining experience. Lovely atmosphere. The pizza and pizza bread starter was delicious, cooked to perfection. Kids portions are excellent.

Best Pizza in town! The Amatriciana is amazing if you like a bit of heat and the Quattro Stagioni my favourite! Yumm.

One of my favourite restaurants. The food tastes amazing and the portions are a great size. Service is good and dont pester you which is even better. The cheese cake you get from here is fantastic, we order them for birthdays cakes. Highly recommend this place.

I was there for dinner and had the gamberoni pasta and the La Spiaggia chocolate cake. Service was great, the ladies there were very friendly and wonderful. Food was amazing! The portions are massive so I was so full afterwards but totally worth it. That pasta with giant prawns was so yummy. If you go there I recommend you go early, around 6pm and book in advance as they are very popular. I could also see a lovely beach sunset from the restaurant so that was a bonus.

Came tonight for my father-in-law's birthday and everything has been absolutely stunning. The service is amazing, the food INCREDIBLE, and just an all round wonderful evening. Will definitely be coming again!

Maria, Emilio and their wonderful team at La Spiaggia really know what excellent cuisine and hospitality is all about . Every menu item is delicious from the steaks , authentic pasta ,tender scallopine , perfectly cooked fish to the brilliant pizzas. Secondi/mains include a generous serving of delicious seasonal vegetables . For those with a larger group the private room taking up to twelve is a great option. This worked brilliantly for my wifes birthday celebrations. We live in Murrays Bay . La Spiaggia is our local . We are so lucky !!! You are assured of a warm welcome and friendly, engaged service at this atmospheric slice of the mediterranean/adriatic in beautiful Murrays Bay. La Spiaggia is popular for a reason so make sure you book !

This is a the Lambhorghini of Italian food in New Zealand. I have to say this is the best meal I have had this year. I got the 500g Rib Eye medium rare. My wife loved her meal too. The owners are very passionate and really care about the experience. Also probably the cleanest bathrooms on the shore!

Dinner with friends on Friday night. Two had the hapuka which was amazing, I had lasagne. Met Mario Luigi who was a great character. All staff and owners there are great. Meals always high standard and we got a complimentary lemon hello before we left.

An authentic Italian restaurant with service to match. The chef special risotto was delicious as was their tagliatelle named after the house. Good wine selection and reasonably priced. We will go again.

We love eating out but this is our favourite place. Most wonderful staff always friendly. You can see how proud the owner is about her place. Whenever my daughter comes home from Uni in Wton the first thing she wants to do is to go and eat here. Delicious food at very reasonable prices. Starter pork belly the best! Dessert is the highlight. Fantastic place thank you guys keep it up!

Stunning stunning stunning! Love this place. My parents have raved about it for so long so we finally visited and omg prepare yourself for some really amazing Italian food.

Super authentic, simple, delicious food. The portions are super generous; I had the prawn spaghetti and they definitely didn t skimp out on the prawns.

Must have: Parmesan pizza bread to start.

This is a great place to eat. Firstly the view out the windows is fantastic. The service was excellent. In fact I usually order a beer and get frustrated that I have finished my beer before meal arrives. At La Spiaggia I got my entree and main before I'd finished my beer.
I ordered Calamari for my entree. Best Calamari ever. Easy to read menu to. You don't have to understand Italian to read it.
For main I had Roast Pork Belly. Again best ever. Crackling cooked to perfection. Would have liked a few more veggies but totally satisfied.
Finally, the dessert. I had the Cream Brullee which was fantastic but not normally on the menu. Waitress told me desserts were made by Maria the restaurant owner. She was also one of the other waitresses. Not often you see owner serving the customers. Hence the excellent service.
Prices were high but not exorbitant. To be expected for such good quality.
Will definitely be returning.

Ever taste someone's passion? Every bite at La Spiagga tastes of love and passion on whats been plated. Hands down my new favourite eatery in Auckland. Maria is the most amazing host. The wood fired pizza oven fills the air with warmth. Beautiful Murreys bay view to boot. Definitely definitely a must do! Love love love

Delicious food, very attentive prompt service. Extensive menu. Accommodated our seating request for a special event. Been twice now and it was the same last time.

The food was delicious and decor comfortable, but the noise, which we were warned about, was quite loud. Three of us around a small, square table and it was occasionally difficult to hear each other, or yourself think.

We've been here a few times over the past few years and it is ALWAYS great. Service amazing, food amazing, great atmosphere and the hosts went the extra mile for us and our baby. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is in a fantastic location with beach views. Good carparking is available out front and the food is very good. Make sure you book to ensure you don't miss out.

We had dinner there couple of days ago. The food was delicious ,the staff was extremely kind and helpful. As a bonus the restaurant have a great sea view. Just excellant place to have great dinner... and they prepare the best cream brulee that we ever try in New Zealand . Thank you Maria, thank you La Spiaggia we will be back

Extremely cosy place..it's like in a family home..variety of meals..the tonight special was Fish with resoto, so delicious & full filing & Yummmmmy.. l would definitely recommend it..A+++

Parking is a bit of a challenge, but overall definitely recommended
