I was confined here for 5 days for abscess in my tonsils.when they are about to put my heplock, they found out that it had to be placed in a different vein.took the 3 nurses of their 4F nurse station to finally insert the new IV and it was the nurse christine of ER who successfully did it.what surprised me that they are charging all the needles that were used.we complained that we are not signing the materials slip because its not our fault and im the one who should be complaining for the inefficiency.nurse paw left after we refused signing.but when we were settling the bill we saw the materials slip signed by someone else definitely not me nor my husband.this is a clear case of forgery.when we complain at the billing section, they deduct the price of said needles.the head nurse should be extra careful in checking their subordinates.upon discharge also, the ENT doc, reinalyn pineda, told us to settle the rental of the equipment (5k) she used and to pay directly at her clinic so as to avoid taxes.we were not told on her first day of visit that we will be charged for the equipment she said she rented.she only told us on my 5th day, the day im about to check out.in short we were asked to pay the hospital bill at the cashier and the 5k equipment rental to rona, her secretary.in my desire to leave and get home soonest, i talked to rona and told her we dont have any spare money for the 5k and said i will just issue a promisorry note and pay her when i get back.dra.pineda called up and said i really need to settle at least 2,500 so that she can issue my clearance.im really disappointed and had to look for money to pay her the 2,500 so that i could finally go home.i just wish the Management of this hospital do something about this as the above i presume is not an isolated case.may the above nurses and said doc be reprimanded appropriately.
