Booked a tour through Viator.... it ended up being more of a shuttle trip to the suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain, The tour was labeled as Vancouver-North-Shore-Day-Trip-with-Capilano-Suspension-Bridge-and-Grouse-Mountain,, I seldom leave reviews but in this case I was extrememely disappointed in the lack of explanation of the fact that this wasn't really a tour.... Our guide gave only a couple of facts about the city, and basically dropped us off at each location with a time to meet back at the bus. I have taken many tours and this just should not be labeled as a tour.. more of a shuttle bus.... and if that was the case.. well honestly the price wasnt bad since it incluede admission to both and transportation.... We just expected to learn some facts about the city or our destinations from our guide.
This company has great customer service, they will be my go to when booking trips to Alaska.
We booked two tours through Landsea. One to Whistler and the other to Capliano & Grouse Mountain and we very impressed with the guides knowledge of the area, the professionalism and their happy, helpful personalities. We throughly enjoyed both tours with the bus even dropping us to the airport after our tour. Special mention to Mikey and the staff at the office who went above and beyond after the tour to Capliano & Grouse Mountain.
Very good at tours and very knowledgeable. Would recommend to anybody. The tour guide, being the great company they are, dropped us back off at our hotel, instead of the pick up place. Very Very good and really nice people.
As a first time traveler to beautiful Vancouver it was wonderful to discover Landsea Tours! Graham was the best guide - knowledgeable, funny. What a great guy. My group included my sisters and brother and he would recognize us each time we hopped on board his bus. Great value, worth every cent
Steve was our tour guide on the Peak and Canyon Tour. The tour was breath taking and Steve did a great job. He was entertaining throughout the tour.
Very knowledgeable staff and they were great drivers. Megan was the best. Would use this tour group again
Booking a tour with Landsea Tours was one of the best decisions I've ever made. My daughter & I really enjoyed our trip to Victoria. Our Guide, Alex was very knowledgeable and very funny. The whole tour was very well organized and timely. If I ever go back to Vancouver, I would definitely rebook a tour with these guys. Thank You LandSea Tours!
Well organized and planned tours. We took Grouse mountain and Capilano suspension bridge tour yesterday. We had an amazing guide. She was detailed and clear.
This tour was well worth the money because of our guide Robin. He was very knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. He went the extra mile by getting maps of Victoria for all of us and circling areas we may be interested in. He was a great story teller, and made the historical facts and stories fun and interesting. We were hesitant to pay so much for a tour, but after calculating the ferry fees and garden cost in addition to Robin taking care of all our needs it was worth every penny. If you are going to Victoria BC, make sure you request Robin.
The size of group was great-- 8 ppl. My boyfriend and I thought our tour guide Stephen was pleasant, knowledgeable, & full of advice on what to do on other days of our trip. Five stars!
Had poor customer service and the bus driver broke several rules on the road putting us and others on the road in danger
Great time on our recent tour with Land Sea Tours in Vancouver. We took the Grouse Mountian tour with Alex today. He is a superior tour guide. Just enough chatter. Seems very interested in each person enjoying their tour. I highly recommend this tour with Alex!
Driver was very helpful and nice. Learned a lot on the tour. Recommend to everyone
Applause to Tim (hotel pick up), Graham and Megan. This tour was booked online and confirmed. Tim arrived Trump Tower before scheduled time. After 13.5 hours with Graham my review is complete.
Observed Graham who vocally engaged each couple. He was cordial and photographically gifted (girl on bicycle at sunset shot). His verbiage did not bore me and precluded a felicitous journey to Victoria.
Graham handled peculiarities without change of intonation or addition of stress and questioned as to justification for deviation. Do tip as is commensurate to the level of care given. Grateful.
Summer was the best tour guide today!! Great energy and we got to see so much! I highly recommend this tour company. It was very organized and low stress.
Our group went on the Shannon Falls + Whistler Tour and had Megan D. as our guide. She was cheerful and full of enthusiasm..can tell she is very passionate and genuinely enjoys what she does by how she interacts with every individual before, during and after the tour. Megan is also very knowledgeable about the history + has tons of fun facts, she also pops cheesy jokes from time to time. I genuinely had an amazing time on this tour and learned a lot.. highly recommend this tour for all ages!
We took a tour of Victoria with this company and it was excellent. They were nice enough to even install a child seat for our son which made the ride not only safe but also allowed him to sleep. Our driver and guide, Gordon, was very nice and gave interesting tidbits during the drive. The tour included a ferry to and from Victoria as well as time in downtown Victoria and entry to the Butchart Gardens. Overall we were very pleased.
Well worth it, my driver Tim was awesome, Very friendly and helpful. He was truly wealth of knowledge. We went to several locations and with 20+ people on the bus it was still great. The whole ride was well manged. Our 1st stop was Granville island market, lots of good eats and lots to see. We also went to the suspension bridge the hatchery ,Stanley park and the lookout. Lots of great sites to see.
Brent was amazing, best tour guide we've ever had! Very knowledgable and flexible. Not hard on the eyes
James was the best! Even in the rain we had a great time!
I had a tour on October 13 and I forgot the tour guides name and just want him to know that he was amazing. He was interacting with us the whole way. The guy was from Bali Indonesia and said he went to Vancouver Film School. Just gotta let you know you're great. We went on the tour the next day as well and it was so scripted. You made it awesome. Give the man a promotion! The Driver was awesome too, I think his name was Martin.
Really good tour. Our guide knew a lot of different stories about Vancouver and it's history.
Not a great experience. Have booked for two days including Victoria/ Whale Watching and Whistler for the second day. Whistler tour was just a shuttle service to go to whistler. Timings are not managed. Time at Shannon Falls is too less. Time at Whistler is cut to cut where we can hardly complete the Peak to Peak Gandola without any time in completing the activities noted in the tickets of P2P.
Whale Watching option is alright but the inclusion as plus options is a waste of money as there is not enough time in Butchart Garden to complete. In a nutshell - I am not happy with my tour for two days arranged through Landsea. I had booked 9 tickets.
I have left a message for Customer care to call me back since a week now and no one has responded yet.
Or tour guide and driver David had the added stress of multiple city car accidents before even picking up clients and a police blockade for a power line problem on our way to Capilano Suspension Bridge and he STILL made our group s day great! He found a quick detour and kept us informed and reassured and made sure the rest of our day was perfect. Good weather probably helped, but we all felt he was the reason we had such a good day. He was a wonderful guide!
Great provider for day trips in Vancouver. Our driver Mike picked us up at the hotel (and dropped them off later) and provided us with lots of information throughout the day. The Sea to Sky Tour is highly recommended at this point. At some point we would like to do another tour with this provider.
Sarah is an amazing guide. Enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. Seeing Vancouver through her eyes added to what was already an awesome experience.
Outstanding tour of Vancouver! 100% recommend this for anyone of all ages!!! Staff are amazing and the buses are very luxurious!
Not recommendable. The stops are sometimes difficult to find. Buses are also simply out. Even the staff is surprised ...
Went up Grouse Mountain, and to Capilano Suspension Bridge and fish hatchery. Tour was well organized, on time, and tour guide, Ian, set a wonderful, friendly tone that soon had complete strangers chatting and laughing with one another. Lovely day.
Our tour guide was great, he told a lot of corny jokes that I was a pretty big fan of. He was also nice and talkative, and gave us a pretty good overview of the city. Initially we booked the half day tour but our driver was so nice that we booked the rest of the day. The suspension bridge was....
flipping scary lol but my husband loved it. I included a picture of our guide so you can tell him how awesome he is
Our driver was incapable of anything but nervous nonstop chatter. For example, he spent dozens of sentences restating his observations on the relatively small size of Victoria Island deer before he remarked that he forgot to point out a historic landmark that we already passed. Worse, he babbled on about how being drowned in a tsunami "might not be a bad way to go" just days after thousands of people died in an Indonesian tsunami, including a student I knew. He talked long after he promised "quiet time." He wasted time trying a detour unsuccessfully. We spent much more time in the bus hopping between hotel pickups than our points of interest. The garden and city destinations were great but the driver guide needs serious coaching about his narrations.
Had a great trip to Victoria and Butchart Gardens. Thank you Joe for your entertainment, good driving and informative talks.
We took a whole day for our Victoria Day trip with a very fun and enthusiastic driver named Lauren. She did a great job sharing lots of details the whole time we rode with her in her shuttle. She s very friendly, positive and gave us great suggestions where to go to eat too.
First we rode from downtown Vancouver and right into a BC Ferry located in Tsawwassen terminal.
Once the bus gets inside the ferry, we then go up a couple decks to enjoy the ferry ride which took us down the beautiful strait of Georgia. Lots of beautiful islands to view as you calmly ride in This ginormous ferry. Make sure to watch your clock and listen for instruction to get back to your shuttle. Everything is Chop Chop when going in and out on the ferry. You could be left behind if you re not paying attention.
Exiting the ferry on Vancouver Island, we made our way on the shuttle to Victoria. We spent a few hours there starting with their Fisherman s Wharf area. Lots of great fish and chips places here but the best one is The Fish Store which serves The Best halibut and chips. There s a cool horse and buggy area too but very pricey. So after exploring Victoria for awhile by foot, we met up with Lauren again by a statue called Captain Cook.
Then we made our way to another very beautiful part of the island called The Butchart Gardens. Wow this place is absolutely incredible and has over 55 acres of many unique flowers and trees from all around the world. But don t lose your mind losing track of time because once it s time to board the shuttle it s time to go.
Then you end the day around 7pm by going back to the ferry and reverse where you can t from.
I suffered an accident on our cruise and called the reps at Landsea before we arrived in Vancouver. They made sure a wheelchair and additional step was available on the shuttle. Our guide Hanson was the absolute best. He went above and beyond. Even though I could not participate in all activities, Hanson made sure I had a great time. He took care of our luggage to the airport terminal and made sure my husband had a wheelchair for me to use.
I initially booked through Landsea over the cruise line excursion was their tour lasted 7 hours and we had a late flight. I was also much happier with the smaller shuttle over a tour bus. Not only was the experience more personal but it was easier for me to get on and off.
Thanks to all at Landsea and especially Hanson!
We toured Vancouver BC with tour guide Matt. He was very friendly, and knowledgable. We had a slight delay getting off our ship, and the company was super easy to get ahold of, and quite helpful. We were pleased with the size of the group as well. 5 stars for Matt.
Don't take as ferry tour is just waste of money. No driver guide anything. No information provided at all by sea. Bus tour is Awesome. All bus tour staff is very friendly. Ferry tour is just wanted of time.
I would not recommend this company. Our party of 6 were left by the driver at the sea to sky gondala. Literally pulling out of the parking lot while we were running after him. Then when we call the person on the phone was rude and blamed our party for being 3 minutes late. Unacceptable! Do not use this company
Great way to see key parts of the city in a few hours. The trip was very well organized and allowed just about enough time to stop and explore some of the most interesting sites. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept it interesting. Great time indeed.
Had a tour to whistler today with Megan D. She was friendly and did a good job at commentary. She balanced out facts from the past and present along with jokes. (Although cheesy jokes.) Overall a fun tour.
Review for 11/(2 and 3)/2019, Hop-on-hop-off. We had a fantastic time using the 48-hour Vancouver Hop-on-hop-off tour. The buses were clean and very comfortable, and the guides were really delightful. I wish I could remember their names so I could credit them specifically, but I believe there were only two women working on 11/2 and they were both equally fantastic. We booked our trip on the off-season, and at one point we were alone with our guide on 11/3. She just chatted with us during the ride (at our request, since we had already heard the (great) spiel on a previous trip around the city) and she was very friendly and easy to talk with. The buses were extremely reliable and ran at a good interval. My only wish was that the tour hours lasted a bit longer in the evening, but based on how few people were using the tour on the off-season it is understandable that they could only support hours up to about 4 PM. Highly recommend for a comfy way to get around the city for exploring, and for some great factoids!
we visited Vancouver in Aug. we did the city tour Saturday and the Capilano/Grouse Mountain Sunday, both were fantastic! the tour guides know lots of history of the city and kept the tours fun. would definitely recommend if you're in town and have time.
I had booked Landsea Tours after reading reviews on TripAdvisor and I am glad I have the chance to review them today :) so I did 4 tours with them - Vancouver City Highlights, Mountain Discovery and Capilano Suspension Bridge, Sea to Sky Gondola with Shannon Falls and Britannia Mine Museum and Lastly, the Whistler tour. All were well timed, safe and with knowledgeable and friendly guides and with pickups and drop offs at my hotel, the YWCA :) the only possible alteration I would suggest perhaps for the city tou is, halt at the park near Sylvia Hotel so that passengers can have time to get lovely shots with the Cruise Ships. Or rather any part of the sea wall. A big shout out to the tour guides I had the chance to meet - Jenna, Hanson, Alysio and Erick! Good Job Guys, keep up the good work!
Vancouver City Tour including Stanley Park, Grenville & Centre Island on Monday December 9, 2019. Tour guide Tim.
Tuesday, December 10 went to Whistler and the ski resort. Tour guide Zed. The visit to Squamish Nation cultural centre was a memorable one.
We took the tour to Victoria and Butchart Gardens yesterday. It was a long day but we'll worth our time. We were picked up on time from our hotel and received a warm welcome from our guide Ian. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and Ian was very knowledgeable about Vancouver Island and it's history. Ian went to great lengths to ensure we all had a good day and suggested things to do and see throughout the day. We highly recommend this tour company.
Had a great Vancouver tour with Ryan - easy to understand and got to see so much!
Yesterday, my husband and I enjoyed the 7 hour Vancouver Delights tour. Our tour guide, Sarah, helped make our 21st Anniversary memorable. Sarah's knowledge of the areas and sense of humor added to our enjoyment of the tour......despite the rain. She added the sunshine to the less than perfect weather.
I'd highly recommend this tour to those of all ages. There was a perfect mix of walking with rest periods, driving to the next stop. My Fitbit said we walked a total of 3.5 miles.
We'd definitely recommend this tour service to others. Thanks again, Sarah!
I am from Toronto. Met Tim and Ed. Up to date and great drivers!
Went on a day tour to Victoria and Butchart Gardens and had a wonderful time. Landsea takes car of everything including the tickets to get on the ferry and the gardens. It was an easy day to enjoy when someone else coordinates for you. Jeremy was our guide and he commentated the whole day which made it fun. Because it takes so much travel to get from Vancouver to Victoria and Butchart, it's worth using a company like Landsea. Highly recommend them!
We took 2 different tours with Land and Sea Tours prior to our Hawaiian cruise. The first tour to the suspension bridge and Grouse Mountain was great fun. The 2nd day we were picked up at our hotel for a pre-cruise tour. Sadly, it rained the entire tour but our tour guide/driver, Ken, did a great job making the tour as enjoyable as possible. Ken was actually the guide/driver for both our tours and he made our tour experience very enjoyable.
Took the tour from Vancouver to Vancouver Island. It was billed as the Butchart Garden tour. What a colossal waste of time. We were picked up at our hotel around 8:45 and did not get to Butchart Gardens until after 4:00 in the afternoon. We were dropped off in Chinatown with barely enough time to grab a sandwich and make the twenty minute walk back to the bus. We spent the day on the ferry or riding around in a very cramped and crowded tour bus. I can t tell you what a miserable experience this was. The tour company added no value so just rent a car and take the ferry on your own. I ll guarantee you will have a much better time.
We had a great day
Our guide, Alex new everything about the trip, he gave us great information and advice
We had a tour around Vancouver and surrounding venues with tour guide Terry and she was fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Land and Sea tours and if you get Terry you'll be very fortunate.
We took the tour to whistler and enjoyed it very much. Our guide Hanson was very humorous and polite! I think some people didn't catch his jokes because their wit wasn't quick enough. Regardless great time and breathtaking view of the mountains.
