Getting our son into Landmark has been the best thing to ever happen to him. Landmark is exactly what he needed. He has made connections with many teachers and students and the extremely small class sizes, coupled with the daily 1-1 tutorial sessions have made profound a difference for him. He progressed more in his first year here than in the previous 4 years at public school.
This experience has changed his life and our lives for the better in many ways.

I went to landmark for 4 years, and graduated last year. I still have friends that attend Landmark, so I went to visit them, but when I got there I was told that I am not allowed to go in there dorm room. I talked to the Student life office but was still told I was not welcome. It was a rainy day so we had to drive all the way to the mall to talk. It was clear that I was not welcomed to visit :(

Landmark School is a safe haven for students who have dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities. Their specially trained faculty members are experts at understanding the needs of these students. Students are met where they are in the learning process through a daily one-to-one tutorial that is customized just for them. Classes have 4 - 8 students so everyone is seen, heard, and can't hide. Teachers build trust quickly and these students can finally do well in school and experience success. It's a phenomenal place!

This place was the best place that ever happened to me. Coming in as a third grader I was scared to enter a whole new school, I HATED SCHOOL, but after being there for my first year I realized that school was not bad at all. I was at Landmark from 3rd grade to my senior year of High School. That school made me feel important and needed, and I miss it everyday, staff and students became family to me. Do not pay attention to these bad reviews because it just is not true. I got into all my colleges I applied to and If it were not for landmark I would not be anywhere. I am a Junior at High Point University now and I still think of Landmark as my safe zone and my home. It is the best place to bring your child. They will strive and succeed.

As a professional who works with special education, I have been very impressed by the quality of services at Landmark. My clients (the students and the parents) have been universally happy with the staff, services, and supports. They also provide a great deal of outreach training to the public schools and are in high demand.

Life altering educational experience for our son. If your child has the gift of dyslexia then Landmark should be a strong consideration. The facilities may not be cutting edge but the staff is in the top tier of educators and they adhere to a program that is consistent and works very well.

Landmark has been an amazing place to work! I started as a new teacher and received an extensive amount of training and education. Landmark really values training their teachers in a way that best helps the students they serve; students with LBDL, such as dyslexia. The school mentored me as a new teacher and has really helped make me into the teacher I am today. Colleagues were always helpful, willing and eager to share resources and interested in me as a person. It was wonderful to be able to work in a place with such support and a driven mission. I was able to work in a classroom with eight or less students, really getting to focus on getting to know individual students and meeting their needs. Beyond the classroom, I enjoyed being a part of the broader Landmark community. They embrace whole families, even have a day care on the high school campus. I can't say enough about how nice it is to work at Landmark.
