This was extremely important as we were buying a home on the Oregon coast from 1700 miles away in Missouri. So disappointed in these guys we had a terrible experience . We sold our free and clear house came out with no money after asking for 35k from the proceeds of sale to cover taxes when we went to closing after agreeing to purchase a new house we had to close that day. We were held hostage at that point as we didn't have time to wait to have it redone . So we had to take out loan on our pickup to survive as we still had our main property to sell.and taxes to pay. Also there were things that were said that our agent still says they never said even though there were multiple people who heard it. I have called them first the receptionist hung up on me then I called right back she didn't even know who the manager was (shocking) the manager did call me however he was gonna talk to his principal broker that was Thursday. We have used these guys in the past every thing was fine . This time not so much and they won't own it horrible customer service our advice run before you walk away with nothing .
I was originally referred to Landmark Professional Mortgage Company (in 2003) by a friend who is a real estate investor. I was told they would work hard to obtain the best mortgage financing, at the lowest rates. I have obtained 4 mortgages through LPMC since then. I appreciated the courteous attention to my needs each time. During my most recent mortgage I ran into a complicated HUD issue due to an unintentional error on my part during the title process. It would have been easy for LPMC to leave me on my own since their job was done. Instead, they stood with me through this ordeal (over 3 months) and, mostly attributable their efforts, the matter was completely resolved. LPMC has earned my business and my highest possible customer rating for their awesome service.
