I would give 4 and a half stars, but apparently I can only do full. Anyway, this is a great place to go to school if you have an LD. The professors are almost always available if you ask, the staff listens and puts up with many requests, the food is overall good, the dorms are small, but spacious enough to make it feel like home, and everyone knows how challenging it can be to not succeed without help. Only downside is that the campus is small and kind of in the middle of nowhere. If you have a car, it's bearable, but without one, good luck getting anywhere. Can not more highly recommend.

My daughter attended this college. It is in a quaint town. The school was wonderful-- she learned so many skills and even made the dean's list. For once in her life, her teachers knew how to deal with dyslexia. It allowed her to learn how to be successful at college. It truly is a "launching school." I highly recommend this school.

The view the staff everything was just spectacular even the dorm rooms was the best I lived in bridges and it was fabulous only down to this school was the tuition was sky high and the absentee policy I felt was not disability friendly I had to medically withdraw because you are not allowed more then three days to miss classes and I was unfortunately in the hositpal so if you chronic or mental illnesses with learning disabilities just be careful I m hoping to change the abstenne policy tho

Landmark College located in Putney VT. has many hidden secrets that has prevented I and my peers from excelling in the "real world". I would honestly love to be able to speak highly of one of the "Best US colleges for students with learning disadvantages" BUT the college has failed many of us in a variety of areas. I was harassed by one of the school police officers on the daily. I was forced to place myself into a box because the environment literally felt like a sunken place. I do not recommend this school to anyone.

My son attended the summer "Bridge Experience" program, and this review pertains to that program only.

The staff was very helpful, the dorms and foot were a bit spartan but acceptable. My son enjoyed the writing class and the trips to Brattleboro and NYC. He had an OK experience overall, but it did not produce the "transformation" we were hoping for. This is perhaps more due to my son's issues rather than deficiencies with the program, but I had hoped that he might get more out of it than he did. I had to schedule conference calls with the faculty to get updates on my son's progress. When it became clear that he was missing most of the morning classes, no solutions were offered (e.g. having a staff member check to make sure he got up and made it to class). It's assumed that your student has a basic level of functioning. If your student is not a morning person, or is struggling with depression and anxiety, this program may not be a good fit. Your mileage may vary.

POOR. Being a student here for 2+ years struggling. Homework help services are VERY Limited and always booked!! School lacks accomidation and support for all disability students. Most teachers are average to low at most. Do yourself a favor goto Rochester or mit, dont waste time or money here, its not worth the price, even Kings Boro is a better choice. I did not graduate from here and just hinted close to a C to a failing grade because of this lackluster. There is No room for advancement either. Some people in the dorms are rude and shouldnt be there. Cafeteria food is average to terrible. The place is in middle of nowhere, with a 15 min walk to a tiny post office near the hill, anything else interesting is an hour away. This rev counts several years to present

This place is increasingly in the middle of nowhere. With no AIR CONDITIONING in any of the dorm rooms unless with a Doctors Note. I can hardly sleep at all some nights or if I do it from straight up not sleeping the 1-2 nights before.

The food is questionable depending on the day. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. The chili at the cafeteria can personally scare me and other people I know. The make it too spicy and must not be able to throw it away. They have this batch out for 2-3 days.

The teachers are all nice and will try to work with you. But there are some things I would expect the teachers to know about what they are teaching. My high school psychology teacher definitely knows more standard disorders the one here. This school seems to be once last choice for schools if they have trouble at other colleges or universities.

For those who want to have a fun game out of how far we are from anything just look up. Where is the nearest Starbucks from this school.
