Beautifully located in isolated splendor. Nice walks and bike rides in the vicinity. It is very upmarket, with matching prices.

Comfortable and friendly. Out in the woods so very peaceful.

Great location, great food, classic modern style, ideal to combine with our little dog because of the nature around it.

Invited as a guest at a benefit dinner. Very neatly arranged and had a wonderful dinner in the Orangery. Afterwards a drink in the hotel, neatly served and allowed to enjoy in a well-kept setting. No overnight stay, so further judgment about room, breakfast and service is not possible.

After a long walk (and reservation on the terrace) they said they knew nothing ... there were exactly 4 people on the entire terrace at that time .... We (4) sat down on a wall to rest ... some improvisation feeling they could have served us at that place instead of staying blunt .. When we started up after half an hour, exactly 2 people had arrived on the terrace .... Never again .....

Had dinner because of our wedding anniversary, since we got married at this location two years ago. Delicious food, good service. Price a bit higher, but you also get a lot for it, so in good proportion.

Beautiful surroundings, nice and attentive service. The food is good but the choice is limited.

Had already written a review, but it certainly did not arrive well.

We had dinner on 17-2-19 and stayed overnight.
The room was very stuffy, no window could be opened (the doors to the outside were too much to open) and the small bathroom was a sauna if someone had used it, there was no extraction at all and for people with less well-functioning lungs a disaster, worth 2 to 3 stars

Dinner was perfect as was the service, worth 4 stars.

The breakfast was a complete joke, if it must be a Gelderland breakfast ..................
As it seemed, the fillings were tailor-made for the sandwiches and also minimal in quantity and type.
We often stay in a hotel, but this breakfast was a low point and only worth one star.

All in all a reason to pass this hotel in the future.

The estate is in a perfect, beautiful location. The estate is beautifully and luxuriously decorated. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I really enjoyed a 5-course dinner with various game dishes.

Food was delicious. The nature surrounding the hotel was very beautiful as well as the hotel itself. The staff was friendly and were very adequate.

Normaal schrijf ik geen recensies maar wij zijn zo positief verrast geweest met ons verblijf dat ik vind dat zij dit verdienen. Al voordat wij bij het landgoed verbleven zijn we al enorm vriendelijk geholpen en geven ze je echt dat beetje extra verzorging (even nabellen nadat je wat specifieke wensen hebt aangegeven om duidelijk te hebben hoe ze je het beste kunnen helpen bijv.). Daarnaast is het personeel echt uitzonderlijk vriendelijk, professioneel en behulpzaam. Echt hospitality met hoofdletters. Het diner (La Bella Source) alsmede het ontbijt waren van uitzonderlijke kwaliteit en heerlijke bijpassende wijnen. De kamer ontbrak aan niks en was ook van hoogstaande kwaliteit. En het landgoed zelf en de omgeving? Schitterend! Je merkt ook echt dat je bij een familiehotel verblijft en dat zij het samen tot in de puntjes in orde hebben. Ook in deze tijden voelde ik me daar veilig en ontbrak het zeker niet aan de juiste maatregelen. Hier kom ik maar al te graag weer een keer terug! En nogmaals enorm bedankt, dit was een geweldig weekend dankzij jullie!

Place is nice from the outside but not my taste (is subjective). I am not a fan of the interior (i.e. art in the restaurant, collection of items in the hall way, chess game in front of the nice building). Personnel is friendly and food is OK.

A gem in nature, close to Arnhem. Perfect for people who like to walk, but also want to see a little more. Recommended: combine with the Open Air Museum.

The hotel will not suit everyone, but (well, then it will not get too full) if you love classic and nature, then you are here in perhaps the most beautiful place in the Netherlands.

I was able to get this impression today when I attended the New Years Tango event in the orangery today.
The entrance fee of 30 euros should include dinner and 3 drinks.
Since the entry price was already 15 in previous years and the drinks are expensive, I certainly didn't expect anything special at the buffet.
I have already attended two events in previous years and found the place to be quite beautiful.
Even at previous events, I found the buffet unattractive. It was probably the same with many other visitors to this event and I suspect
the organizer had to accept a changed arrangement of the house that now also included compulsory consumption.
Well - I paid double the entry price and was looking forward to a nice evening.

The reason for my annoyance:
In the hall itself there were tables with seating for max. 30 people, additional seating without tables along two sides of the hall with a total of approx. 40 seats, but the event was attended by around 160 people!
In previous years there was another room behind the dance floor where you could relax or eat.
This year it was only accessible to restaurant guests!
At the time of the buffet opening, numerous people crowded the narrow passage to the bar and between the tables, it was no longer possible to get through!
The cordoned off area was nicely covered and empty!
That was absolutely unreasonable and an outrage!
The buffet should have been served in the back room to ensure unhindered access to the bar and dance floor.
One can hardly expect guests in evening attire to balance their plates on their laps!
If the house no longer wants this event in their rooms, it should be communicated clearly.
I didn't feel like a guest, but like an unpleasant visitor who you want to get rid of as quickly as possible - that worked! I left after half an hour.
Two other negatives:
the menu was only in Dutch, despite many international guests, the request for an additional glass of tap water with a drink was declined.

Excellent hotel, facilities well cared for. However, it is special that when checking out, breakfast had to be paid for 2 people while I was alone. The employee's motivation for this was; "it is a room intended for 2 people, so 2x breakfast is also required." Paid under protest.

Nice, classic hotel on a monumental part of the Netherlands. Friendly staff, great menu, great drinks and air conditioning in the rooms. The rooms have been recently renovated and look beautiful, updated but with a classic style. I'm definitely going back.

Groot Warnsborn is a great hotel in the immediate vicinity of Arnhem with luxurious rooms, an excellent restaurant and staff that really makes you feel welcome. Moreover, the Estate is a beautiful walking area.

A beautiful and stylish building in a beautiful setting!

We came on August 1, 2020 after 3:00 PM to have some food there. Was not possible because the ENTIRE HOTEL PLUS TERRACES were reserved for guests !!!! What were we then ???? Therefore a for Hotel Warnsborn.

Very good and beautiful location in the middle of a wooded area and yet close to Arnhem.
Ample parking, excellent culinary cuisine, ambiance ok, in short top!
The whiskey walk in November is also recommended.

Not hospitable and expensive; signs everywhere: sweeping feet, tidying up toys, dogs not allowed inside

Beautiful hotel room in a fairytale setting. Very friendly staff and delicious food, the breakfast was also very good. Really recommended!

What a lovely place, at the back of the hotel on the terrace with my old father. In the late summer sun we enjoyed a nice glass of wine, warm sandwiches with tapenade and old crumbled cheese. A short walk afterwards across the estate. Enjoyed! It has become very beautiful inside too .... we will do it again!

We stayed there for two nights. A beautiful hotel which is in a beautiful, quiet location. The staff and service was very, very good. In the evening we had a 3 course menu. The food was very tasty and was beautifully presented. Everything was very fresh. The restaurant has a great interior. We had a suite and loved the room. Everything was very clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful.
