Landgoed Groot Warnsborn Review

One of the most beautiful locations in the Netherlands, the park is amazing. The hotel itself is also very nice, the Warnsborn suite was breath and the food and wine was very nice.

Starting point for walks, easy parking, the site is very pretty. You can have an aperitif on the terrace, eat, sleep. High price related to the services, quality staff and pleasant. I recommend.

I enjoyed two delicious lunches and one dinner. The staff were knowledgeable and most friendly. They made sure that they described each dish in perfect English for the one non-Dutch-speaker in the party.

After a 12 km walk we arrived at the hotel thinking we could drink and eat something. At the door a sign indicated that the place was exclusively reserved for guests that day. Despite an empty terrace, we were refused to even sit for 20 minutes for a drink. For a place in the middle of hiking paths, this is just the rudest reception ever. Just keep walking!

Beautiful site. Experience the private life of nobility. The suite is a luxurious invitation to relax. Bed and bathtub stand patiently on a raised platform. Excellent dining - fish is filleed at your table, foal is cut at your table; the sommelier has a great sense of both taste and humour. I'd love to be able to afford to live here.

Pravhtig located in the middle of the woods near Arnhem. Unfortunately it was completely rented when we passed by during a walk. Even the front terrace was not available for a drink. Very unfortunate and would have been very pleasant.

The service is very friendly and helpful. The prices of the soft drinks are above average, but this fits in with the luxurious appearance.

Beautiful hotel in the nature! The room was clean and comfortable. I would give one constructive feedback: even though there are many people that like watching tv on their holidays, that was not the case for us. The tv was positioned on a moving table at the end of the bed. Personally don't want a tv to be the first thing I see in the morning. But we had a great stay there !

Nice interior, but I missed a sandwich or something, we don't really like the mustard soup.

A few days course with overnight stay. Meals are very well cared for and have an excellent taste. Environment is phenomenal in the middle of the woods with driveway. Very professional service.

We relived our wedding day here on our 12,5 year anniversary and couldn't have asked for more. Great food, great room, great environment and great staff.

We happened to cycle past and it seemed like a nice place to have lunch. We ordered the Cannelloni 2 times. (18th) According to the menu with tomatoes but was served with baby corn, broccoli and cauliflower which is quite special with Italian pasta. The cannelloni itself was partially hard, the Parmesan cheese on top also dried out. There was nothing fresh about this. I think a ready-made Hanos bite is paged in the microwave. Both my partner and I had a stomach ache for the rest of the day. The waiter asked if it had been good. Told honestly it was not what we expected and he did nothing about it. Conclusion: FADED GLORY. Do not do it!

Only for guests? If you land there you are a guest or not. Good coffee with delicious pastries is served by friendly staff, but it is quite expensive.

On a beautiful day in April we experienced a wedding here and then slept in the coach house. Very beautiful environment that is perfect for a wedding. Nice rooms in the hotel with a delicious breakfast. Really recommended!

What a location. You arrive and are immediately impressed by the appearance. Also inside there is a nice mix of homeliness and a beautiful stately welcome. Nice service. Time for me to have dinner there soon.

Last Sunday we had a high tea at this restaurant ... we announced in advance that we had 2 ladies with us with food allergies .... they received a separate plate and were NOTHING of the floor-keeper who got the rest .. it was a very scanty intention with 2 jugs of tea and 6 snacks per person and the ladies with allergies only 3 banana pancakes an amuse cup of broth, a piece of melon and a piece of pineapple .... afterwards they were seriously hungry and we asked for a portion of bitterballen, they could not eat this either, because nuts were baked in the fryer of the restaurant .... we REALLY understand that an allergy is difficult .... but it cannot be that you with a nut allergy you can't even eat fries or croquettes! This case is so well regarded, but we will NEVER see it again! We have left and have been eating delicious food elsewhere to end the day nice!

Chic in a lot of ways and the service is very friendly. The lunch enjoyed was delicious but not generous. The range of my 4G was poor but always better than the free WiFi.

Super restaurant with outdated rooms in the hotel part.
On arrival you will immediately notice the beautiful location and the beautifully maintained building. The luxury radiates from it. Parking is nice and close to the entrance and the reception at the counter is very friendly. They really do their best to make the guest feel as welcome as possible. This would really work if the breakfast times are not explained if the reservation has clearly been chosen not to use breakfast.
Luggage is not brought to the room (did not have to be with the few bags of ours but just for completeness).
Room is spacious enough, neat and clean. Nice touch is that there is a handwritten note with a welcome. It would have been nice if it were registered. Bed has sagged a bit. The bathroom is outdated and the sink is a bit weird. It seems like it didn't go well. The tap can just handle over the edge and your hands have difficulty fitting under the tap in the sink. Washing hands is a bit of a pain. The sink is artistically skewed but I think it's just a mistake.
I really hate taking a shower and unfortunately our room had such a construction with such a curtain. Fortunately, the lead at the bottom of the curtain was heavy enough to prevent it from sticking to your body, but a nice shower is different. I propose to demolish the bath and replace it with a shower. You immediately have more room for the sink and toilet. There was some mold on the joints between the tiles.
Very coincidentally, we were there exactly during a hearing festival in the region, so we were surprised for about an hour with horn blowing from 16:00. Amusing. Seems very difficult to me and the horn player probably thought that too.
Conclusion: You don't have to come here for the room. However, the surroundings are beautiful and especially in the summer I think it is great to look at nature on the terrace. The restaurant is more than decent with star allures.
Recommended? The restaurant for sure, the hotel is ordinary.

Beautiful location and well cared for dinner. However, as in many restaurants in the Netherlands, the waiter has a strong tendency to explain his dishes as a market vendor.

Large estate, where you can walk. It expanded its routes and you're so on the moor. Friendly staff (but I think the holiday period) are not really aware of what they are on the map.

20 minutes seated, 5 staff members, 3 tables. No coffee was offered. After looking at someone twice and still helping guests who have arrived later, we will not be back. And that in a place where you just leave 25 per person for a breakfast. Unfortunately. Very few wasps prevention too ..
