Well cared for and maintained park! Very friendly staff and fun activities at the park (which you can do yourself or where you can participate in) Indoor swimming pool is fine, sometimes a bit crowded. The outdoor pool looks more like pea soup through the alga, but the alga doesn't go out of all swimwear. That is annoying.
But otherwise a nice park for a wonderful holiday.

A beautiful bungalow park with every house in the old Drenthe style. Nevertheless with all modern conveniences (we were very happy with the underfloor heating). We spent a long weekend here with two families with small children, and there is also a lot to do for the latter group in the winter months. Although the houses are relatively close together, there is a lot of privacy and (play) space around. There is also plenty of rest outside the 'entertainment building'. The distance from the back of the park to the facilities at the front was a bit long, but still nice to do while walking. We recommend this park if you are looking for a quiet place with lots of natural beauty nearby with children, but also want to be able to enjoy a carefree moment as a parent while the kids enjoy themselves in the indoor playground, for example.

Landal Orveltemarke is a beautiful, spacious park in Drenthe. We stayed in an extra luxurious home for a midweek. As always with Landal, the house was neat and clean. The cottage was fully equipped including wellness area with a large hot tub and sauna, wonderful! A walk through the park is also a pleasure. You really feel as if you are in complete peace with sounds from many different types of birds around you. The park has an adventure island and an outdoor swimming pool especially for children. From the park you can easily walk through a forest, through the forest to the village of Orvelte.
* Minus. We were there two weeks ago with all corona restrictions. The park was almost empty. If there were 10 cars at the many houses, it was a lot! Because we had such a good time, getting away from the daily grind, we wanted to book an extra night (perhaps two). It is a pity that Landal does not use a lower rate and could not do anything with the price (over 100 euros for 1 night!) While almost the entire park is empty! Sin for both. For us, because we wanted to stay an extra night for a nice price. For Landal, because you can still be earned extra and otherwise the bungalow will still be empty ... Too bad Landal !!
Very beautiful and peaceful. Highly recommended! Surrounded by an enormous amount of nature with several (swimming) lakes, this is the perfect place for a peaceful holiday. The 'pitch & putt' that is located to / at the park is the best place for a pleasant afternoon (and for a relatively small amount). For people interested in history, Westerbork is not far from here to ensure an educational day.
Spent a few days in a house with 12 men. Each room has its own bathroom with toilet, which feels wonderfully luxurious. It is a neat and beautiful park to stay with family or friends.
Nice house (152 I believe), not completely clean and here and there a defect, but were still comfortable. Nice environment to walk through and so on. Unfortunately too cold to swim but the bath also worked wonders.

Nice park with beautiful surroundings. For the fifth time here. House cleaning is reasonable to good. It is not as bad as in previous reviews. Probably problems that were solved with cleaning. Bringing yourself a hygiene cloth over the most touched things in the house (handrails very dirty) light switches and all that sort of thing. Cottage has been renovated and has new interior, looks nice. Were there were a number of defects, which were reported and all corrected the same afternoon by technical service (perfectly solved).
Tips are food in Westerbork, nice little place where there are also famous stores such as Jumbo, liddl, spice barrel, bakery etc.
Orvelte museum village is very nice to visit, you can walk there in 15 minutes or else park there (costs 3euro).
Ps de senseo has been replaced by a Nespresso.
Update: again after a few days a number of broken things or defects were found. Find that the technical state leaves much to be desired. This does not belong, a broken light ok but now I have a nice list. Too bad for such an expensive bungalow.

Very nice park, beautiful environment and fun island adventure. The kids club is also great fun for children. They can play laser games, build rafts and much more. The only downside is that the house where we were not clean. There was still old bread in the bread bin. There were dirty stains on the seats that went off with a cloth. For the rest it was a very beautiful park
Very nice holiday park, nice houses. If there is something you can report it at the reception and they want to solve it immediately. Too bad that the shop is closed at lunchtime. And that the reception closes at 5 pm. The swimming pool is also closed at 8 pm.

Beautiful Landal Park with lots of entertainment for children and ideal play areas for children who love water! Swimming inside and outside, fishing and playing in the sand .. it is all possible! Also a good restaurant, cafeteria and shop. Staff are very friendly and helpful, 2 chairs that broke during our visit were immediately replaced. Cottages are neat and fully furnished and have a spacious garden!

Wonderful holiday park! Also very lucky with the weather! The cottages are beautifully clean. On arrival we received a free upgrade to a 6-person cabin .. The sauna and Jacuzzi are also wonderful! A few small things were broken, but it was already replaced within half an hour. Nice staff, this park is definitely recommended! The only lesser I think the beds .. They are hard and very small especially for tall people.

The sofa is not comfortable and the chairs at the dining table are not nice, only the two loom chairs can continue. The children's playroom is great and the bathroom is also child-friendly.
So some improvements would be in order and would improve the stay for the adults.

Nice escape from the Randstad. You are there in the middle of nature. Because of Corona everything had to be booked in advance, so we were not able to swim that much (the park cannot do anything about it) and the museum of Westerbork was also fully booked all week. Fortunately there was still room at Wildlands in Emmen. It was a nice park. If you are on vacation here you should definitely go to this animal park. It is worth it.
The cottage itself gives mixed feelings. It all looks quite new and clean, but certain things have not been well thought out.
1. Like many parks, a refrigerator that is much too small for a 6-person house (table model). We were there with 30 degrees and then we have to drink a lot
2. No storage space in the kitchen for when you bring your own groceries.
3. No storage cupboard for clothes. However, a piece of furniture consisting of 3 shelves and a hanging section. Not big enough for 2 people per room.
4. Noisy houses.
They are nothing else to worry about. The holiday was also great. But this does make the difference between 4 or 5 stars.

The house was very suitable for 12 people. We have all enjoyed it. The children had room to play inside and outside there were enough play areas where they could play. The restaurant is well recommended.
Park itself is great for people with small children. Small pool and shop with the minimum. There were some defects in the house when we arrived. These were, however, quickly resolved
Very nice park with many promotions for children of all ages. Pleasant coworkers. Houses very close to each other, so that one hears the neighbors, eg. screaming babies all night. Many small lakes in the area, which are worth a visit, but also the natural swimming pool and the water playground in the park are very beautiful. The swimming pool is very small, but nice and the indoor playground was fun for our kids. There is also mini golf. The house is spacious, but not very clean, ants run through the whole house and even in the fridge and bread cupboard. The dishes were still very dirty and first had a tour in the dishwasher. An oven was unfortunately not available in our house, which was probably due to the category of the house and did not belong to the standard equipment. We booked the comfort package with towels and beds, but forgot the latter. But we got refunded for this money.

Ideal for families with children. Small indoor pool, small outdoor natural pool. Many play options for small children on the adventure island, indoor playground, outdoor playground.
The Baarsjes are swarming with the water at the adventure island, so fishing is also possible. Houses are neat. Good beds, a bit short, but are good. WiFi in the houses.

We had a 6 person deluxe bungalow with a nice view towards the adventure park. View of an open meadow and forest. Spacious bungalow with nicely divided rooms. And well equipped with appliances and equipment. The cottages themselves are all on neat streets, just like in city centers, with parking space provided at the cottage. Very satisfied.

Great Landal and great price. Nothing very special but nice a week away. The couch in the house was only as if it were completely made of wood. So hard, it wasn't really good to sit on.
Houses perfectly finished. Beds have a pit and are due for replacement. Furniture neat and effective. Enough good kitchen. Lots and good cutlery. However, microwave unfortunately no oven. Swimming pool very small. Main building has few inside facilities. Summers probably have a better time at the park than in the winter months. Orvelte Museum Village is a must. Accessible within walking distance.
If we come here for a midweek, we go all-in: sauna, jacuzzi, all the fuss! Delicious !! If you don't want anything on your mind, read a book in peace by the fireplace or prefer to play a pyromaniac to keep the fire burning, you can do whatever you want.
We sat here by chance once on Valentine's Day, they had a deep red rose for us. Sweet gesture!

Stayed 11 days at Landal Orveltermarke because of the Corona we could not go abroad. Unfortunately, almost everything was closed due to the Covid-19 measures, according to Landal, but actually because of a major renovation of the main building. Our house was hit by an ant invasion and wasp's nest. Fortunately this was tackled the same day by the excellent staff of the park. Outdoor pool only available for 25 people and very limited open, indoor pool closed due to renovation. Made the necessary steps in Drente and let our daughter swim in a bath that she brought herself.
