Nice escape from the Randstad. You are there in the middle of nature. Because of Corona everything had to be booked in advance, so we were not able to swim that much (the park cannot do anything about it) and the museum of Westerbork was also fully booked all week. Fortunately there was still room at Wildlands in Emmen. It was a nice park. If you are on vacation here you should definitely go to this animal park. It is worth it.

The cottage itself gives mixed feelings. It all looks quite new and clean, but certain things have not been well thought out.
1. Like many parks, a refrigerator that is much too small for a 6-person house (table model). We were there with 30 degrees and then we have to drink a lot
2. No storage space in the kitchen for when you bring your own groceries.
3. No storage cupboard for clothes. However, a piece of furniture consisting of 3 shelves and a hanging section. Not big enough for 2 people per room.
4. Noisy houses.

They are nothing else to worry about. The holiday was also great. But this does make the difference between 4 or 5 stars.
