Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center Reviews

I was staying there with my girlfriend for a week. We reserved the room through one of her work's benefit sites. When we got there after our 15 hour drive from Florida, we were extremely exhausted and just wanted to lay in the bed. However, when we went to check in, they said there wasn't any reservation over 3 days. We were pretty upset about that. After talking to the company we reserved the room through, it was hashed out between Wyndham and the company.

The room was spacious and the bed was so comfy it was as if we were sleeping on a cloud. During our stay, we had a couple of days where we wanted room service (dirty towels, new sheets), but never received it until our last day. In the morings, we would see the housekeeper come around 8 am then never again. Our thermostat was for nonfunctioning. If I wanted to change the temperature I needed to go to the actual unit and change the temperature. The bathroom was a bit small and had no fan for the steam. Initially, the hot water would be nice and hot, but after a couple of minutes it would become lukewarm. I'm not sure if that's because they had more guests, but with a resort their size, there should always be water.

It was an okay stay. The front desk seemed friendly enough.

Calling this hotel a Convention Center and a Resort is a giant stretch. The Starbucks did not know how to make a basic drink. The convenience store consisted of a bookshelf with snack bags that you pack in a school lunch. The common areas in the hotel did not appear picked up. Our room had a horribly hard mattress. The bathroom door did not stay shut. There was a ponytail holder with matted hair in our room.

I must say it's a beautiful and Spacious hotel. But ((barely)) have people working. Everyday I had to get my child and I dressed to go ((outside for breakfast)) which was very Agitating. The pool closes at 11pm which was awesome. I stood at this hotel for about 1 week and change and no room service. On my 3 day I started to notice little thing's about my room. And of course as I expected the room service wasn't happy cause they stated that how come I didn't say it before. And my response was well When traveling during cov-19 time you expect the things should be done properly, No one on vacation just stops and searches their Room to see if it's clean. The staff are over all nice.

Rooms are newly renovated. Nice clean, soft beds.

The golf course is in good condition. Few greens have some bad spots. Fairways are nice. Rough is high. 18 is under construction but just play 1 again, no big deal.

I think we picked a good place on a bad day. The location is great. Near everything interesting. And close to all the good shopping places. The biggest issue my wife had was there was a strong odor in the room. There are horses everywhere. And our room smelled like a stable. We ended up getting a scented candle to mask the smell. Once we settled down for the night. A large group arrived for what we assume was an event at the hotel. There were doors slamming and children running the halls all night. It was as if we had checked onto a Disney cruise. The building is new. But when the AC came on it sounded like a plane landing.

My experience was good. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. The event center was a great space for our conference. The bathroom was a little smaller than expected.

There s a lot to like here on the surface. But, tried to have a safe night out at the bar waitress disappeared and we sat for 45 minutes before we had to beg for the check from an overwhelmed bartender just to leave; the room was fine. But, the smoke detector was chirping and had to call twice and wait almost two hours before someone showed up to fix it. The beds were comfortable. But, the noise from the hallway, rooms next door and rooms above were louder than Expected/tolerable. HVAC too was super loud as it kicked on and kicked off. So did not get any sort of quality sleep. We stayed for a dance competition (3rd time) and wound up asking the studio director to find somewhere else to go next year

The hotel had very nice modern rooms and lobby. Seems like it was recently renovated (Staff said hotel was renovated about 4 years ago).

Has a no frills feel. There was limited staff (no bell help or conceirge).

Clean and comfortable. Our room phone and bathroom fan were both broken and someone pulled the fire alarm during our stay. Not the best experience but the hotel was nice.

The entire crew worked this like a fine tooth comb... they were polite and the lines kept moving...i would recommend this site to everybody, but, i was not at the other sites to judge them. I would love to thank each And every person who helped at this site.
