Good, spacious & secluded property. Food menu & Verity is good but taste and hygiene can be better. Rooms are good but other common spaces, lobby don't have air conditioning, which is expected, especially in coastal resort. Seeing stray dogs in the resort premises was ackward! Carrying out maintanence activity can be done without disturbing or causing inconvenience to the guests.

The location is almost a 2 hour drive from the airport. However the property is well maintained and the beach is beautiful.

A very expensive hotel for no reason, cheated me during booking, a 5 star hotel not maintained properly, outdated design ... but the staff is courteous and tries to help.

Best spot for vacation..good food,entertainment.kids friendly..Clean and hygienic..the list goes on and on

Pros: location is great, the beach is beautiful and the property and rooms are breathtaking

Cons: The service was very poor. Room service was frequently late, our food was cold on more than one occasion. Inspite of complaining, they couldn't refund the amount we paid for what was a poor dining experience. Another time we had an issue with the internet and inspite of calling more than once, the IT person never contacted us to help out. It's just a shame because you expect more for Lalit.

Acchi Badi Property is Saath me beech hai There is no golf course on the beach.

Food is expensive , service is not good, very isolated place..not recommended you have much better options at lower price in Goa

Was a truly amazing stay. Had couple of issues initially and the same had been addressed the same day. That is what customer service is all about ensuring timely service.

A great experience to stay here. right from check in to check out , personalized care about each and every request. Food, house keeping, concierge, front office team .... everyone in the same boat to make the stay an excellent experience.

We had a really lovely time at the Lalit in January 2019.

Pros- Beds comfy, amazing views of the sea, well maintained gardens,the beach shack , lovely staff who looked after us. Its located in Palolem and is one of the 5* resorts in the south of Goa. We also did a lot of activities on site(these are charged separately just in case you are wondering) Archery, quadbiking, golf and some sea sports on their private beach area. We were celebrating my husband's birthday and they even had a little cake for us (added a pic) that was a lovely gesture @thelalitgolfspa

Cons- The spa needs a revamp and food should improve massively..the quality was lacking and the options for breakfast were bare minimum this was a disappointment for us.

Overall, it's a nice hotel and worth staying when in the extreme south of Goa.

92000 will be charged for compulsory dinner for 4 on new year... Its honestly too much who r u getting to cook ramsay, Sanjeev kapoor or vikas khanna.... I understand its a 5 star hotel, but i have been to many 6 stars across the world and for 1 meal i never have been asked to pay anywhere near 50k for 1 meal and its compulsory... We had to cancel booking as they don't tell you what they will charge before (website says compulsory meal. But price is not mentioned) hotel is otherwise great i have been here before food is awesome guess i could fly to usa in 90k

Changing my review to one star because this is is the second time we wanted to stay at their hotel in a span of one month. But the poor customer service of the front desk staff made us to book to some other reputed five star hotel. Will never stay here again and will send mail to keshav Suri also about each member of their team including manager with their names

It's bful with own beach and rooms were huge and huge property wid lush green surroundings.

Ideal place to spend your vacation. The property is neat with lots of activities inside. The Breakfast spread was awesome.

The Rooms are extremely spacious. Even the room service was pretty good. Loved the place.

All that you can ask from a Goa vacation. The pool, comfortable rooms, facilities, super clean beach.

Only 1 improvement needed - they should develop the area around the property for better experience in the town around.

Golf is chargeable billiard is chargeable lighting of the room not good ...... So it's not value for money

One of the most relaxing places in Goa.... I visited this place along with a friend and we did not want to leave the hotel. Really nice hospitality and amazing food and room service. The only thing that I wished the resort had was a dj or a club kinda room within. Otherwise all was good. I really like the restaurant at the beach... I used to have my dinners there by the beach .. and it was one was the best things that happened.. the pick up and drop from airport- hotel-airport was also really precise..

Must visit beautiful resort. I will enjoy visiting this resort again and again. It has a very large property. Very good swimming pool. Food is excellent. Lavish breakfast. Rooms are big and clean. It is far away from airport. It takes 2 hour to reach resort from air port. Property don't provide free pickup. Hence it costs approximately Rs.2500 to Rs3000 to reach resort. Staff is very courteous and service is Good.

Secluded beach in the parts of Southern Goa. Away from the crowds visiting and giving you a time to reflect upon the beach and sea.

Beautiful property , and HUGE , lovely beach , great sunsets and golf . Their shack has out of this this world food , Rooms are huge and comfortable . Would especially like to mention , we forgot to clear the locker ,and had reached North Goa , whereas we got a call from their front office regarding the same ,reached back , and the entire content was as it is , incl the money left behind , kudos to the staff for their honestly , integrity and professional behavior , really very grateful and thankful to all at Lalit .

Coming back to the surroundings, Palolem beach is just a few KM away and it's a different world altogether .

Hotels own beach has local shacks as well , good for coconut oil massages . Overall very good property . Must Visit . 5/5 surely and we r coming back .

Very nice well maintained property in South Goa. The rooms are humongous compared to modern four-five star resorts. The Landscaping and pool is beautiful. Direct access to beach across the Golf course. Breakfast spread is wide. Watchout for bird poop in parking area, our car was repainted almost white by birds attracted towards lights on golf course.

Excellent place to stay in south Goa. I stayed at the LaLiT for 2 days and my stay was amazing. Property is so big that I needed more for covering entire place. Checking in and out was breezy. Entire staff is really cooperative. The rooms were really big.
There were lot of choices in Indian and continental for breakfast. Beach nearby is clean and there is shower and footwash before entering hotel.
There are few eateries outside which provide decent food. There are few touts at the hotel gate for taxi and scooter renting. They can be avoided. South Goa's most famous beach Palolem is about 3 KMs from here.
Choose this place if you need a quite timeout with family. This place is completely different than razmatazz of North Goa.

Good place with nice views and food.
The only drawback I found was absence of local produce presented in the restaurant. Goa being a costal region and had lots of mangoes and jackfruit around but we could not see it in the menus of the resort.
Adding that may increase the experience of stay at nice beach resort.

The hotel resort is built about 21 years ago having 255 luxurious rooms & 10 villas spread over about 85 acres.

Beautiful location with a serene private beach and a spanning golf course with ample greenery. The beach is clean compared to other commercial beaches in Goa.

The rooms a large & spacious in the resort & give a feel of old huge villas during English era but they have all the modern luxuries needed.

The service staff and the staff at the in-house Canacona restaurant is hospitable and extremely friendly.

Such a beautiful property and it was amazing too see such a good property near to beach and rooms are amazing and the best past all the villas has their seperate pools .

Scenic location with its almost private beach..94 acre property..huge rooms..one of the best swimming pool..it has 4 restaurants..about 60kms from the airport surrounded by the mountains facing the sea..1km from Canacona Railway station

Great beach, less people, may get stung by an odd jellyfish or two, so keep vinegar handy.
Life guard on the beach will have vinegar, ask them.

Very nice and quite place for a beach front romantic leisure vacation. Had a very nice time apart from the check in experience.

Once classy and impressive but now seems deteriorated a little. Restaurant service, specially for large groups, was poor. Food was average. Good wifi in almost entire property. Beach access is good. Nice beach. Nice and quiet in general. Nightlefe is nearly non-existent. Villa staying was good. Huge and nice rooms, nice bathrooms, private pool and huge yard. But villa is pricy. Overall, nice but I expected more.

Fabulous expansive resort. Portuguese decor and furniture. Good rooms and a memories.

Beautiful and huge property spread over 85 acres. Excellent staff. Specious and clean rooms. beautiful connected beach. Great food. Airport transfers available. Its far from main city so go for it if u going for relaxing stay. Nice indoor games and spa. Best for golf ofcourse. M very much happy with the experiance.
