Magnificent and large open space in South Goa with excellent facilities next to Rajbagh beech.
A very big Golf course for guests to use.
It's quite expensive.
You can choose couple's package for enjoying the property in groups at best offer.
Walking distance from the Beach.

This is a very beautiful resort located at the Rajbag beach. The hotel is very well maintained with quite a few options for food. Although there are very well maintained amenities, the rooms have very outdated equipment. I was underwhelmed with the quality inside the room, with a very old TV, outdated bath fittings etc.

I therefore decided to maximize our time outside even in the afternoons when it was hot outside. The hotel offers a very good spa that I thoroughly enjoyed. It also has a number of fitness and sports options.

I did not quite like the service. The hotel DOES NOT offer a free airport shuttle which I thought is pretty standard in most big hotels. The service desk tried to misguide me by offering a paid shuttle at 2x the cost of a taxi service outside. I strongly recommended against using taxi and shuttle service from the hotel. Just call a taxi service from outside or there are number of cabs waiting outside the hotel gate which would be cheaper and better.

This is a hotel that is worth the price just for the beautiful South Goa beaches and the amenities. However, if you are looking for a high quality room and service, this is not the one.

Although I am writing this review pretty late but it has been on my to do list since I visited this place! A bit shout out to the restaurant manager, Mr Vinod, who was such a nice host. I was there on my babymoon and it was him who made my stay worth every penny. As a sweet gesture, he would offer me deserts post lunch and dinner from the buffet (even when I ordered ala carte) so that I could happily satisfy my taste buds.. pregnancy makes you crave for more!
He was very polite and made sure we get nice seats to enjoy our meals.. he would greet us with a smile which made our meals even more enjoyable!

The property is quite spread out but the Lalit brand averages out to keep the excitement of a plush and exciting hotel . The rooms are very large but dated . Bathrooms are old Brown effect and boring . The food is horrible and Dal Makhani and Paneer dishes get far away from original, food preparation is bad compared to even budget hotels . There is marketplace around and good casinos like DeltinJack are 2 hours away . The hotel staff don't make you feel welcome except the Sikh Gentlemen employed there . Seems like the hotel seems to be on reducing costs rather than focussing on guest . The private beach is a 2 minutes walk which is a pleasure . It's a shame that they keep counted - 2 sachets of tea and coffee and sugar in the room for tea preparation . Some rooms have kettles and cups and some just have cups which speaks of their standards . If you are looking forward to pamper your family then please don't go there but if you need privacy and quality time with no frills then it's a right place .

We were travelling with a 9 month old baby and were very hesitant after reading another persons negative review. But the entire staff went out of their way to serve us with the best hospitality. We were given a room closest to the pool and reception so we didn't have to walk too far with an infant. The chefs made 3 meals a day for our baby exactly the way we wanted. Infact some of the hotel staff offered to handle our baby for a while so we could eat without any disturbance. Our baby also really enjoyed in the pool and just crawling around on the huge grass expanse.. our room would get messed up every few hours with our little one scattering things around but the housekeeping team always tidied it up with a warm smile. A special mention for the duty manager Mr Abhishek who went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable stay and a huge shout out to the entire chefs team ! This being our baby's first trip definitely outdid our expectations.

One and half hour drive from Goa Airport .
The approach is through lush green countryside and virgin mountains with very smooth well maintained roads (even in monsoons) which is commendable.
Arrival by helicopter is also possible as there is a helipad.

The property is equally inviting with a very large pool and a very well maintained 9 hole Golf Course.

If you travel all this distance it is only for the location, and it's totally worth it.
It is a beautiful clean beach of nearly a kilometre and all throughout the property you can reach from one end to another through rented bicycles.

You need to set aside at least four days to enjoy this property alone.

Rooms are very large Food is good, MAP plan is a good idea.

All staff is very cooperative and forthcoming , Shashwati at the restaurant deserves a special mention.

Great hotel. We rested here. There is one manager who speaks Russian. Everyone else only speaks English. Food and stuff are very expensive. But if at the hotel there is a wonderful cafe of the USSR. That's where they ate. More precisely, we had dinner. Its own beach with sun loungers, which the locals do not get. The beach is wonderful. Clean and level with the ocean. The rooms are great. There are no these moronic night discos at the hotel. They are on the beach, so they won't bother you.

Morning complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a variety of items.

Visited a couple of times. They have their own private beach and of course a mini golf course. Various types of rooms are available. Rooms are spacious. On the downside, the resort is located far away from the airport and is away from all the prime action oriented places in Goa. So if you are a party animal, fond of pub hopping, you may have to think twice before booking. Also, food can be better for the price we pay.

Amazing place, spread across acres of land, and lots of greenery. The rooms are very spacious and overlooks the pool or the garden. There is a huge pool and very kid friendly. Also a section of pool connects to the bar. Only downside is the crow menace. Wish they would do something about it as there are so many crows all over.
Breakfast spread was fresh and amazing at The Canacona restaurant. However I can't say the same for lunch. They charged us 1000 per person and the buffet was not fresh. Many of the dishes were cold and hard. The Ala cart menu was super expensive, just a biryani dish costed 850+taxes and it's sufficient only for one person.
Best is to visit palolem where you get much better food.
The private beach doesn't have any facilities.
No chairs to sit, no shacks to order from, even thou I went in mid October. Was a bit disappointed with that one.
There is a indoor games section, but the lawn tennis was chargeable. Badminton was gud. The squash court didn't have Ac and we literally sweated it out. It also had a tt and carrom section.

Services are bad. I had asked for someone to help me with my luggage no one came till 40 minutes and then when I got my luggage down myself and asked it to be dropped till parking Mr Dinesh ( I'm not sure about the name) told me in the rudest language possible" baggi to nahi hai aap andar khud le jaaiye luggage" . That apart my friend asked for ice...... And it never came. I asked for complaint book at the reception twice and twice from the housekeeping.... Guess what it was never given.

I have never stayed at the Lalit but I use their sports facilities regularly as they have some of the best sports facilities for miles around. There are 2 excellent hard surface tennis courts which you need to book in advance. You can borrow rackets and balls. There is also table tennis, air-conditioned squash courts and badminton. Not to mention the outstanding 9-hole golf course. If you want to get some exercise during your stay in South Goa the Lalit is the best.

Hotel and makemytrip didn't refunded extra person booked but couldn't join, both blamed each other for their policy, resort was clean, well maintained, good swimming pool, buffet breakfast could have been better in terms of menu, refill, spotted insects roaming on tables where buffet items were kept, no airport pickup and drop, as it was far away. Lunch dinner price extremely higher.

I rue the day I selected Lalit Goa for our first trip after Covid and the first one for our daughter.

They gave us a filthy room and were not only unapologetic but also annoyed when my wife complained. After repeated tries, they convinced to move to a different room after 3 hours. This room was also just as filthy. Pictures are attached.

At 9 PM we were hungry, tried, daughter crying hoarse, complaints being ignored, pathetic service for even basic requests and we did not hear the word sorry from their staff even once even when we decided to cut short our 4 day stay. Their on duty manager Rohit gave the customary fake assurance that he will take care of everything but of course nothing changed.

I will say visit this if you miss the experience at government offices in the 90s. Even govt offices offer better services in 2021! I cannot believe how some people have rated this page 4/5 or better.
