Beautiful property and cleanest beach. Lots of activities that you don't even need to leave the hotel. The kids corner keeps kids occupied from 9am to 8pm. Swimming pool is also open from 7am till 8pm and is really beautiful. Steam bath and jacuzzi complimentary for inhouse guests. Buffett breakfast has a good spread too.

A very good property but in a very secluded area, nothing much to do around the property.

Food is very expensive, we along with other hotel guests ate at the small dhaba style restaurant outside The Lalit.

Staff is courteous but some were not well trained.

100 acres of Portuguese styled resort!

100 acres of Portuguese styled resort!
Golf course, private beach and water activities, cycling.
Beautiful landscapes, great hospitality, view from 2223 which is ocean facing is great!
Around 65 kms from airport, might take upto 2 hours plus during peak hours.
Very few options immediately outside the resort but if you travel till palolem for another beach or if you need to experience local village head to market in chawdi.
One suggestion for management - they must limit the number of corporate functions.
It kind of ruins the experience for those who are on vacation with family.
Plan at least for 2 days and explore the property.

In South Goa.. Absolutely loved the place.. Ideal for people who love to soak in the Goa vibe without much crowd.. Has private beach nestled between two rivulets and two hills. Food is great. Staff was extra nice with our 2.5 yr kid

This is a marvellous property located on a very large golf course with its own private beach. The rooms are on ground and first floor. This resort has standard rooms, presidential suites and villas. Even the standard rooms are quite big. The rooms on ground floor get their own open balcony. There are three restaurants two on ground floor and one on the first floor. The breakfast buffet is amazing and offers you a lot of options to choose from. There is a lot to do in the resort itself that you won't find the need to go anywhere else. The private beach is very clean. You can lazily relax on the shacks or enjoy swimming in sea. There is a huge swimming pool in the resort itself with varying depth. The max depth of the pool is around 6 feet. There is also a bar within the pool and you can enjoy your drinks.

Apart from this the resort offer a lot of other recreation activities like archery, pottery, games, golf, water sports, quad bikes and cycles. There is also a maze garden where you can enjoy walking and solving the maze.

There is not so many but a few good restaurant to try out just outside the hotel too.

The hotel offers free pick and drop from and to airport. However i recommend getting/renting your own car since this place is quite far from the city reach. Also it would give you flexibility to go out and explore other parts of south Goa.

We arrived at The Lalit on 20th of May. Everything went smoothly from.the airport pick up till the airport drop on 25th May.We had a relaxed and rejuvinating holiday in the lap of luxury. The many facilities, the polite staff who served us with a smile ( Navpreet and the patient buggy pilots in particular) beautiful clean beach and the priceless pleasures of the sea and the view....I could go on and on.
My Mother, who is 83, has a special word of thanks for Team Lalit, Goa. She sends each helping hand her blessings. Thank you Team Lalit, Goa.

Comfortable hotel with golf course at Rajbagh beach at the mouth of the Talpon River. Nice sandy beach, calm sea. Near the restaurant and on the beach several local stalls with fresh fruit, drinks and massages. I recommend to use!

The room service is pathetic considering their star rating. Water bottles are not served regularly. Also room is not cleaned during my organization's stay here in this resort. Check in is delayed more than expected. Swimming pool is too small considering their gross area. Lack of variety of food is another reason to rate it low. Private beach area is satisfactory.

We had the best vacation ever. Thanks to this amazing place. Never imagined an accommodation in Goa to be this Kid friendly. Humble staff, yummy food, Royal ambience and great rooms are just a few awesome things to mention besides room cleaning more than once a day. We are really overwhelmed with the overall experience. Thank you, it was a great stay!

The Lalit Golf Spa Resort is a vast property with individual villas, a golf course and connected beach access to the Raj Bag beach.

The property is situated after Palolem and is close to the Goa border. It takes more than an hour to reach The Lalit from Margao in South Goa.

What stands out is the tastefully done architecture in old Portuguese style, vast open spaces to roam and chill within the property and gated access to individual full size villas. These villas are bigger than what you might have seen in the usual properties in Goa.

Lalit is a great option to stay. They have their own private beach called Rajbagh beach. I have been to Rajbagh beach and not hotel of Goa. But you can anytime consider this hotel to stay if you are not on budget trip.

We had booked the room online from the Lalit Golf &Spa resort for the weekend package. However, when we arrived at the hotel the reception was totally clueless on the reservation details and what was included. Many details like the airport transfer and the spa discount voucher were totally missed out. We got a package with a 2p.m checkout (subject to availability) and though the resort was not fully occupied they could not adhere to the 2p.m checkout.

We visited in December 2020 and expected service not to be up to the mark due to reduced staff strength.
The service we received was 2 stars to say the least - unclean rooms, unclean passages and an old decrepit building with moulds that feels like it s falling apart.
Now, I can argue that it s the pandemic, silly. This was expected.
But here s the rub - during most of our stay, half the staff was directed to serve Lalit management and owners who had arrived for their annual conclave in Goa. Seriously folks?? Had you seen the faces of your limited employees struggling to keep up with the limited guests?
Couldn t the management do a virtual conference the way the who world was operating this year? Nope, they had to arrive and have half the staff diverted to them so they felt special.
So there you have it - an old hotel, past it s glory, on a near-perfect beach, charging wads of cash, to provide sub-par service to guests so owners and management can feel special.
Disappointed !!

Good place to experience. Low options of food, service little slow but food is great in taste and all meals except Indian have generous portions.

Staff is nice and helpful.
Excellent maintenance of the property, nice pool and close to nice beach.
However it is isolated from other parts of Goa.

Acres and acres of beautiful green acres and proximity to the beach. Staff at the sports complex Mr. Anil and the personnel Mr Dalvi who gave us a round on the buggie were really courteous and generous.

Amazing property. Ideal for short sojourns. Buffet services need improvement (The shortfall may be attributable to less people due to Covid 19).

Extra star for the staff who are polite and always ready to provide assistance (Led by Mr Abhishek from front Office).

The above was my first review with 4 star. . Second stay reveals that none of the problems reported are taken care of. Poor wifi, TV having a lot of disturbance, bathroom fittings giving you trouble and poor engineering team and front office staff. To top it, I was subjected to loud voices of unhappy guests while eating my dinner.

The property is expansive and very close to a part of a pristine beach. Staff is courteous and would greet you with a smile whenever they see you. There were some delays with the luggage both during the time of check in and checkout and the security team hassled us when our friends tried to take pictures with high quality professional grade cameras. Breakfast was mediocre though their muffins were great. Pool area is good and golf course lush green. Overall, a good stay but could have been made better.

We stayed here with family in April 2016. The moment you enetr this place, it exudes relaxed luxury. A golf course on the left and sports center on the left, it has a large property to boast of. You get a buggy tour of the entire property and its worth taking. It has rooms, villas and independent accommodations available to chose from.
A facade that opens to the seashore which is mostly to the disposal of the hotel itself. A well cultured lawn and garden and staff that are there to ensure you have an awesoem stay.
Rooms are large and airy and have a sitout area at their end. Most Mumbai homes would be the size of this single room.
The swimming pool is BIG and has a separate kids section too. There is afloating restaurant which serves you while you take a lazy swim or after you have exhausted yourself after the frolic.
There is a kids play room with an attendant who takes good care of the kids. A sufficiently large number of toys are available to indulge all age groups.
The breakfast spread was awesome with everything you can ask for, being there on the platter. Not to miss, the taste was perfect too.
A wonderful experience to have stayed in the lap of luxury and enjoyed the facilities. Would love to come back just for the sake of staying here, if not for the charm of Goa itself
