Lal Bahadur Shastri Hall Review

It is Asia's largest hostel situated at IIT KHARAGPUR.

Largest hall with over 1900 students; constitutes almost half of the freshers. Food is average. Has a basketball ground, a cricket ground, library, gymnasium, an open badminton court, a juice shop, a stationary store and one Nescafe coffee and snacks shop.

One of the best hall of recidance for M. Tech students. 3 sharing room is there. All the sports facility are available. Mess food quality is quite good.

Very big and spacious hall. Plenty of area to breathe fresh air. Rooms are big enough for 3 people to stay without getting suffocated.
Only worst thing is the mess food.

There are so many memories in this hostel with me. This gives so mony thing to me. In one review, it is impossible to express my feeling! LBS hall of residence gave me the first taste of hostel life. Me, with my roommates, spent so many memorable sleepless nights there. Thee food of this hostel was too bad during our first semester. During the guidance of Bishal Group everything git improved. The staffs loved me too much. Few of them are still in touch with me. I was just crying, when I left LBS. Love you so much, LBS. Love you.

I was lucky enough to stay here during GES 2020. Accomodation wise all amenities are available. This is the biggest residential hall in IIT Kharagpur. I loved my staying here. Will miss LBS.

Huge hostel. Stayed for ten days during inter-iit sports meet. Place is incredibly spacious. Rooms are decent. It's a old hostel can't expect more. Have good memories.

Place is nice but not awesome, rooms are enough for three student. But no lift to use, few playground for cricket, badmintan etc. Foods are good enough

One of the best hostel of IIT Kgp.Rooms are of decent size and bathrooms are well maintained and clean.Each floor has separate washing machine and aquagard water purifier for the use of students.This also has table tennis courts and one decent size ground for practice purpose.
