Really nice rooms, and great setup next to the lake with a patio to enjoy.

Mediocre at best for a out of the way resort, slots are tight with limited jackpot action.

Ok for a small casino. The drinks cost a lot for a casino and the drink quality is pretty lousy.

It sucks. We hardly ever anything and when we do it's not much.

Only complaint was no coke products only pepsi which my husband does not drink. Great big comfy kingsize bed, clean rooms, very friendly staff, great food prime rib, shrimp, mussels, king crab which we had our share of in a bucket each! There was also fried chicken, pizza, and other stuff but nobody could eat all that plus the desert bar and soft serve ice cream and a salad bar. If you stayed at the hotel you got your first drink free but I ended up with 2 so I gave the second one to Keith. We had a good time even though my slots weren't paying. The tables were.

Would've been a 5 star except I reserved a smoking room and when I got there none was avalible. But other then that it was great and will be back

Very nice rooms, much nicer than expected. Can't speak much to the casino itself, only stopped through as i was traveling. Slight smoke smell, but at a casino/hotel I feel like this should be somewhat expected.

The casino was excellent. The prime rib buffet was cold, wasn't worth $40.

The front desk was very helpful when I had an issue. Best place to sleep within 100 miles on highway 35. Clean and safe, but weird to go to a place that still has smoking rooms.

Small .to smokey needs better ventilation. Caters to smokers. No areas for non smokers to play any of the games. Staff somewhat friendly if your buying liquor.

Stayed here for a wedding-- the bride had several issues with her block of rooms. When booking guests were placed on hold for upwards of 45 min just to speak to someone. Some were told the block was full when it wasnt and some were told the block didnt exist. Our room was supposed to be non smoking which we were told it was but it was not. The room reeked of cigarette smoke and the shower was still dirty. Our keys stopped working every night and we had to go to the front desk at 1,2,3 am. to get new room keys which usually took 3-4 tries. I would not recommend this hotel for anything.

I booked two rooms a month ago and asked that they be in the hall going to the casino and close together. When I arrived one room was on 1st floor and the other on the lower level. They switched rooms around and we had rooms next to each other and my husband opened our room door and they had booked it to someone else. Our room had food spilled down the side of the cabinet and when I told the front desk when checking out all they could say was I m sorry. Sadly they told me even if you request a room number it is first come first serve. Housekeeping we had the maid service sign out and a card was left sorry we missed you please contact the front desk if you need additional towels. Very disappointed.

Friday night crab legs is only time I come here any more ...I had to stand in line for 20 minutes for regula5 crab legs while there was heaps of spicy ones that .Noone wanted ....

Right off of interstate 35 friendly place with good food

Its fun and great people work there .have a great buffet really extra good food.friendly patrons.come on over to lakeside casino and have some fun.

Staying here this weekend. When I arrived and checked in I was given key cards and they did not work. Many trips back and forth between the check in desk and the room and 4 sets of keys cards later I finally was able to get into the room. Check in person insisted I was using the key cards wrong. I traveled here to see my son at college and ended up missing one event while dealing with the key cards. Not a happy mom! I have stayed in the past and had a great experience, this was not. The rooms are wonderful, I have not tried the Casino. I did enjoy the buffet.

Fast forward three weeks. Reservations made the same day for this visit and the last visit 3 weeks ago. Was told at a previous visit that if I mention Graceland University they offer a discount. Last stay three weeks ago with discount, the same room was $69 per night. This time the room is $30 more per night, this visit it is $99 per night for the same room. WOW!!! Plus both visits the pool has been unusable. I will be rethinking my accommodations in the future.

Nice clean room and quiet hotel. Best option for southern Iowa.

Not as high energy staff on overnights as I would like, but it's a decent casino. Lost money fast, tables and slots, though. I'll check it out another time.

Its small and easy to get around and staff are wonderful

For the price of our room, I was not impressed. Everything was very half done, like the sheets were fine but not comfy clean. The pool was very cold and small. The casino bar was pricey and restrictions were dumb! The buffet had good food, lots of options.

Friendly Staff, OK casino experience. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. However the amount of table games is very limited. The slot machines, in regards to variety and number, is good. Some of the popular table games like roulette were not open at 4 p.m. on a Saturday.The staff stated they did not open them until 6 p.m. the smoke will absorb into your clothes and hair quickly. There does need to be a better ventilation system. Several people on their way out, including my group, complained, about the smell of smoke. I wish more casinos did not allow smoking. There are more non-smokers exclusively adult age groups than there are smokers. Overall the casino experience was good. The buffet and bar was great. I would have given this a higher rating if there were more table games and less smoke.

Buffet was ok except for the shrimp which was overcooked and not cleaned. Good value for the price.

We went to the casino, had a good time, mostly played slots. There was a good variety to choose from and we won a good chunk of change.

It's gotten harder to even just play let alone get ahead here

The RV area is run down an does not appear to have any upkeep! They tell you to pull into spot then go check in then made us move saying that spot is for a regular! Thank goodness the shuttle guy was nice cause we looked at sites they told us an other rv were already there!(2 x) Terrible record keeping,needs to change! Buffet was so so, service very slow an forgot refills we said yes to! Casino is not a big winner place so watch your pennies!!!

Its a small and quaint hotel and casino. Great if you want to get away from the mainstream.

Clean restrooms and I left with more money than when I walked in... Always a good thing. Definitely need to bring back the buffet full time.

No variety. Want a good meal in Osceola? Go to the Mexican restraunt on the main strip or Family Table.

I go here for a yearly seminar. The staff are friendly and the food we get is always good. I don't gamble so I can't speak of the actual casino, but the place as a whole seems nice and is easy to get to.

Affordable and so many things to do. Very clean hotel. Beautiful view. Food was outstanding especially Friday night! Casino is a great atmosphere with happy people and good drinks. Concerts are a blast there also! I will b back so soon

Friendly staff, Great Concerts, The food is o.k. Not many of the old slot machines left....such a disappoint. The new video machines are confusing to a lot of people.

My mother lived in Osceola so we frequented the casino. The food is horrible, the rooms are ok, but I liked the casino. There are a lot of slot varieties to play. I won frequently so that helps them get 3 stars.

All areas of hotel I visited were well kept and clean. Breakfast buffet selection and the taste exceeded my expectations

Can't say enough about the place the only bad thing I have to say is the pool area is VERY SLIPPERY! My son fell so hard and cracked his head (no blood but very big knot) 2 min after that I witnessed another man fall and 2 other children. It got to the point I laid towels down on the floor to keep people from falling! Something needs to be done before someone seriously gets hurt! Rooms are great staff is great! Just put some traction or grippers down by pool!

Always very accommodating, friendly and eager to make things rite. Rooms are clean and plenty of space. It is starting to get a little dated but we always stay there and choose it first over other places in the area.

Clean and good on the budget for a couple wanting to get away for a couple days.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. We have stay there numerous times ans have not been disappointed. We enjoy the buffet and of course gambling.

Ive given this hotel more than two chances, my mistake. Bathroom is filthy; shower doors haven't been touched in months, floor unswept and dirty, its moldy and unkempt. The walls in all rooms are worn and missing large sections of paint. The light switches and lamps are covered in grime; sticky, dirty, paint covered. I have stayed in 13 dollar hostels that are cleaner. Lived and worked in many countries this is pathetic. Truely sad.

no table games open after we drove over hour to get hear after we was told twice table games would be open.

We camped there, and ate supper at the buffet. Food was good, nice variety, and had a voucher for free meal! Nice casino, campground is cheap, but clean and full hookups, pull thru sites with cable TV.

- Thin walls.. all we could hear all night were the people upstairs pacing back and forth.

Since new management the place has gone down hill fast! No Valet and not much for a buffet!! All the employees who were here from day 1 are all gone. Employees can't make the place fun when management has the place near lockdown!!

My prayers go to the person who, collapsed by the kiosk machine. That was sad. But I managed to enjoy the afternoon.

Very nice RV PARK, $20 for space rent. Shuttle service to the casino. Casino is built over the water, very nice setting.

Actually can't put a zero in. Popular machines locked, don't give a hoot attitude what you play. Machines that were open, put a few hundred I'm and can't even hit 20$. You think they would want you to come back.

The Crab leg buffet was amazing! I would be so curious to know how many pounds they go through in that one evening. Yummy!

Casino host Motrell booked us a great suite! We had decent luck at the slots and a fantastic time. Friendly staff and an absolutely amazing surf and turf dinner with perfectly cooked prime rib and crab legs. Rooms are dated, but very clean and spacious and comfy beds.

Very expensive Buffett. Food was not worth the money, could not keep up with the food, ran out of food.

Wonderful room! Had alot of fun and the employees were helpful plus friendly! Can't wait to go again!

The buffet was nasty. If you didn't like fish, the beef option tasted like shoe leather. You couldn't cut it with a steak knife. All dessert options were low calorie pies.
After that terrific meal, we went into the casino and lost $70 in about 15 minutes.
Don't think I'll be stopping on my way home from K.C. anytime soon. (My personal opinion.)
