Excellent place to spend a few hours playing on the grass, get a tan, rent a boat in the lake or get a hot drink in the coffee shop.

Warm and fragrant scones... ideal stop over to treat yourself!

Great hall for music. Watched my friend's concert there and it was great!

Very nicely located, good coffee and lunch. Can get noisy at busy times.

Food was ok but a bit pricey. The guy behind the till was blunt ( almost to the point of rudeness) which was a pity . Limited hot food available

The water is polluted. It's upsetting...it's a university and there are Nottingham council signs about - take some responsibility!!!

Such an amazing place for adults and kids both. The park, boating and the walking path are amazing.

Great experience, good cafe and some fantastic plays. Don't forget to checkout the playground

Coffee was good but its expensive. Nice place to sit and have a cuppa after a walk round the lake.

It's a great place to go for younglings and older crowds there's culture and events held regularly next to a lake with a nice scenic walk lacks a larger carpark so I'd advise finding alternative means sometimes during peak hours

Check for opening before you go. We went last Tuesday when it was torrential rain. I dropped my wife and grand children there whilst I went to do an errand and go back. My wife rang me to say the place was closed.
The Lakeside cafe was also closed so they couldn't go in and shelter. I went back and collected them. Wife and child of 4 extremely cold. Approximately another 20 people also waiting for it to open. None of the banners or their website state it was shut on 2nd January. Even googling the website told us it was 'open today' very disappointing. Eventually told by a friend that their facebook page stated it was shut. Fat lot of use.
Obviously administration problems somewhere. Have been to exhibitions there before and they've been very good.

Great little venue but be quick as concert tickets are snapped up. Can't post a photo as we weren't allowed to take any of Skerryvore!

Small theatre ideal for children's shows. Easy free parking.

Was really surprised with how nice this place is. Hadn't been for years. So glad we went and had a look.

Interesting museum rooms, excellent outside play area for children of all ages, shop, two indoor areas to eat and a fabulous lake to walk around. This is easily got to by tram from the city centre, stopping virtually across the road.

Always worth a visit. The art exhibition changes regularly so variety and something new is always available. Good focus on history relevant to the surrounding area and culture. Good cafe. Not unreasonable pricing. Lovely walk around the grounds. Good range of birds and some interesting water fowl. Good place to see Herons nesting on the island.

Lovely coffee and cafe space hence 2 stars, yet staff lack customer service skills/are rude, plus got diarrhoea from their food too...will not be going back there again.

Great place to relax and explore art galleries, museums and child activities

Always good theatre shows here and it's so nice to take my son to see the ducks, walk around the lake, look around the galleries and have a spot of lunch in the cafe

Can't fault this place boats, tress,park, arts all in one place love it was always happy wen working up at uni site go eat lunch outside near lake car park very good but can get rather busy when schools out or park events are on

Had a walk around the boating lake & visited the coffee shop. A lot of work taking place, painting and a new football golf course being built.

It's a nice place to have a walk the lake is nice but the children's play area is rubbish and the on site cafe is really over priced

Really nice venue... Cafe's good but pretty draughty with the doors at the back being so slow to close. OK in the warm weather of course.

Really good accoustics. Comfortable seating which allows a good view.

Fantastic place for everyone. You can hire a boat or kayak realy cheap. You can fun with minigof as well.

They have a small golf course for family entertainment and a park too where the kids can play around.

Visited a couple of times here, the cafe is nice and clean. The installation were went to set most recently was a bit poor to be honest so not really sure how to rate this place.
Facilities are great, installations questionable.

Good size cafe and kids friendly as well. Not that many choice of menu though but fair for late brunch.

I watched a movie screening in the theatre hall. Seats were OK. Sound system was not bad.

Nice cafe, and arts all over the place. Parking can be tricky as spaces are limited, so use public transport if you can. Take a walk around the lake, buy an ice-cream and ignore the geese.

The art centre is an affordable place to visit, set in the university grounds with a cafe and a great play area for kids. The lake is set in a park with great amenities like crazy golf etc. Lovely place for a relaxing walk. Very easy to get to by public transport, not so easy to park a car as it is free but limited. In nice weather it is very popular to locals for that reason.
Car parking though free (polite warning) is strictly monitored by university security for use to visiting the grounds.

Really enjoyed the Christmas play 'Them With Frozen tails', looking forward to visiting again.
