I attempted contacting this restaurant multiple times via phone, but could never get anyone to answer. I left a voicemail, but never received a return call. Finally I contacted a manager, Jeremy Sockwell, via email provided on their website. He responded same day and gave me another phone number to call and make a reservation. I called and spoke to Jeremy on the phone, and we made a reservation 8 days in advance for 11 people on the patio for my dad's 60th birthday. We had family come into town to celebrate. Upon arriving at the restaurant we are told we do not have a reservation and we would have to wait 45 minutes to be seated on the patio. They seated us inside, but it was freezing cold indoors. Then our
queso "blanco" appetizer came to the table, which I'm pretty sure was microwaved velveeta. On top of that, our chips were stale and they were completely out of rolled silverware. They brought us silverware in two drinking glasses and no napkins. We finally had to ask for napkins of any kind. At this point I had had it. I went to the hostesses and asked to speak to Jeremy directly. He happened to be standing there. I explained the whole situation and he remembered emailing/talking with me about the reservation. He never once apologized! He said in a very irritated manner, "I'll get you seated outside" and walked off. I didn't know if I were to follow him or go back to our table and wait for him. He finally came back and moved us to a table on the patio, now 30 minutes past our reservation time. They did bring us fresh chips and queso blanco, that was actually white queso. However, the entire restaurant seemed understaffed. Our waiter was very nice and apologetic, but was pretty scarce due to being over-seated. Overall, the food was sub par, nothing special. The only person to apologize through the entire experience was our waiter, which none of it was his fault. The hostesses and the manager, Jeremy Sockwell, were all completely rude the whole time. If Jeremy had handled the situation professionally, like any manager should, he would have owned up to his mistake of not booking my reservation, apologized, and asked me to hold on a few minutes to see what he can do to remedy the situation. I will give this place another try due to the amazing view and atmosphere on the patio, but my expectations are very low.
