New buildings makes the campus look better than before

It looks awesome, modern and much greater than most places.

Love this place. Graduated in 2017. Really prepared me to be successful at CSUN.

A smaller public community college than most. It has some construction going on but it is close to the subway.

Good school! Complaints about the financial aid is kind of ridiculous, well get a job if you don't like it!

Small campus, easy to navigate. Campus maps displayed several places on campus.

Student Service Building is a newer building. You can register the classes, pay the tuition fees and apply financial aid at this building.

There is a food truck at the courtyard, selling beverages and snacks.

The Parking: Parking lot 1 & 2 are across street from the campus. Daily parking fee $2. Parking lot 3 is right next to Student Service Building. The entrance to Parking lot 3 is not on Vermont Ave, side street near Melrose.

The teachers are ok but the admissions office will not even answer and will hang up. That is extremely rude.

The restrooms in the science building have no locks. Waiting on the admissions and records and Financial Aid Office is way too long and they aren't helpful. I've been trying to pay my classes for a month now, the business lady says "You are not on the system, go down to tell Admissions Office". I wait 30 min and she can't hep me and that's her only answer. Not Helpful at all.

I hate this college because they protect a unprofessional microbiology professional named David Sanchez. Please don't take his class. You would be regret it and he would ruin your life. He sexual harass me during his lecture and have been calling my cell phone and stalking me for a long time. I rejected him then he lower my exam grade on purpose. I only got a B because of I rejected him. He is mental unstable and crazy. He is very unprofessional.
This college won't fire him after I report such a bad evil person. Please go to another better college. This college would ruin your life! It is the worst!

I love it since they have None credit classes, something I saw that I have not seen in other schools, is that if you take the GED class and have good attendance and get a good percentage, they give you the opportunity to take the free exam. Which I have not seen in other schools.

The best place for thieves,I am high school student and I ride a bike.I parked my bike at LACC and went to class,my class is ESL 3B it is in evening from 6:50 pm thru 10:00 pm,so somebody steal my flashlight from my bike and I decided to home at night without flashlight,it is wasn't usually flashlight it was 10 in 1 flashlight I bought it for 80$ bucks, it has a Bluetooth speaker,phone holder,flashlight,powerbank,fm radio and many other things.I am really disappointed and I think that thieve was student from college

The campus is fine but the library's computers really suck.

Good school. Tuition can be paid via using grant(if you're qualified to receive grant).

So far so good. The library has terrible hours though. That, to me, is worth two stars.

Go To PCC Portland Community College. In state tuition for California or Nevada residents + $6,000 in Oregon Grants. LACC Financial Aid is too difficult.

Los Angeles City college has some of the best programs anywhere. The cinema course was outstanding.

Love this place. You get what you put in. Wish they had better bathrooms that's the only thing

Not just learning and degree study school. Met awesome people and have lasting memories from here and of everyone from here.

The classes have been nice, but every other aspect of this school delivers frustrating experiences. The financial aid department seems very under qualified. Their lack of experience and lack of helpfulness resulted in my financial aid being late.

Every attempt I have made to make an appointment with a counselor has been futile. I have tried over the course of months and there have never been any dates available. I tried using the online counseling service and have never received a response. I'm in my second semester and I don't even know if I'm taking the right classes because I've never spoken with a counselor.

I also almost spent 260.00 on a book that the bookstore had labeled as a required text for one of my classes. It would have been a final sale. Luckily, I went to class before purchasing it and learned that they are no longer using that book. Even though the bookstore had it clearly labeled under that class/section number.

Every aspect of this school, besides the actual classes are just unorganized and unsympathetic. I guess you shouldn't expect much from a community college, but I'd expect a little more of any place I'm giving money.

This college has alot to offer & is located in a perfect spot everything is so close by especially the metro train station it's practically right on campus.

The financial aid building does not get things in order on time there always backed up they need more assistant helping people and getting things in order process at the correct time

This is a very corrupt college. Financial aid manager Pau Jansa steals documents students send in during the pandemic of 2020. That is very dangerous. He lies and claims he never receives the documents. What is he doing with the documents? He needs to be investigated.

They keep renovating and that's good.

It will be a nice campus eventually.

registrar doesn't do their job at all.
Person named WINNIE is very rude and she shouldn't work there.
They for some reason had 2 ID's under my name.
I had hard time pulling my transcript due to this reason.
and all she was able to tell me was, "Just email us, i'll respond within 10 business days".
really?...

OSS front desk i can complain about for giving me wrong appointment date... But Robert D is the best!! He is very much needed!! Give him more hours please!!

This college is awesome and everyone is so nice and caring for one another. PS: I recommend you should take this classes if you haven t already English 28-101 professor William Lemon, Art 201 professor sandy de lissovoy, history 86 professor Bertha Medrano, and public speaking communication 101 professor micheal Kalustian trust these classes are easy but challenging.

international student center is a total joke and they dont want to help you.
they are kind only to their russian fellas because they dont have to speak english to them.
except for one lady who was helpful and nice, all of them are rude and stuck up two faces
international students are paying way more money than regular students and they are treated as little kids who dont deserve to be in there.
staff themselves has huge accent and are not good at english, but when international student who just arrived to this country, go to the office and ask a question, and of course they have accent and make mistakes, ask to repeat the sentence again because its not their native language! then they look at them like a dumbass and give that face and voice tone.
this is total waste of money and time.
If students who are considering to come to this school from another country reconsider it. just go to college that is in your country and get the better education and be treated as an equal human being.

The Counselors give out wrong information regarding the classes I need to take to graduate and transfer to the CSU I got accepted into. They also give students false information and the staff doesn't even know the updates they place for student information. I seen a disabled person walking lost because the staff didn't know where the orientation was for her. I felt so bad. She couldn't walk a lot but they still didn't mind giving her the run around. Smh. They need to communicate better with each other. Also the hours they display they should be there on time for those hours! This is my last semester, Thank God!

Currently trying to register for classes and being stone walled at every turn. If you plan on going to here don't think you'll be able to do a single useful thing over the phone as all their staff in every department only know how to give excuses and tell you to call back later. Completely useless.

the financial aid office SUCKS. they don't answer the phone and WON"T help you in person. WHY HAVE I NOT RECEIVED MY FINANCIAL AID for FALL OR SPRING?

College is what you make of it and I am making the best of it.

I attended a number of semesters here, first one was Spring 2002 semester. Loved this campus since I was a kid though, in the 1980s, visiting the campus. Beautiful campus, one of the embodiments of the spirit of East Hollywood. The campus has changed significantly over the years, I like both the old and new versions. And both the old and new library. If you're not looking to attend, the campus is also a great place to just chill for a bit, take a walk through here, sit, read. You can even grab some food from the food truck that's usually on campus when classes are in session. Or read some books at the nice LACC library, though you can't check them out unless you're enrolled. They used to have some books for sale there too. Maybe sometimes they still do. Check library hours and whether they are closed until the next semester of classes begins, as they often do that.

Great teachers, nice environment and the student service staff are nice.

I like the campus of WLAC better but this isn't too bad. Parking is good.

Some of the classrooms have no windows which feels prison-y but they certainly have a lot of classes which is nice.
