Attended a rehearsal dinner in the back party room. Pizza was really good. With just one. Bartender and a make shift bar it was difficult to get soda as that was at the main bar.

This was the first time I've eaten lunch here and the food and service was outstanding! The pizza was very tasty and delicious. Both the thin crust and the thicker stuffed pizza was way above average. The wine selection is also very comprehensive as is the list of mixed drinks, cordials and after dinner drinks. If you are looking for a great place for a business lunch or a lunch date in the Oakbrook area, La Barra is your place!

The employees were great. I felt very safe. Our waiter wore his mask properly at all times. The food was wonderful. Great job!

Great place for breakfast and or lunch. Good variety to chose from and for different food connoisseurs. I myself recommend the turkey sandwich "The Rachel", but my wife recommends the Cristo Melt. Both are very good sandwiches, I go for the side salad with their ranch dressing and my wife goes for the side fruit cup very delicious.

We love this place. The pizza and service have been excellent every time I have visited. The deep dish pizza has a caramelized crust similar to Pequod's Pizza.

Great taste and flavor. Appetizers were tasty. We ordered a deep dish but little did we know these guys give you a more than brown crust. None of us liked it, has to peel off the 'burned look' to eat the pizza. Next time I'm ordering the thin pizza.

Fun, good food and plenty of parking, and a fair price for what you get

Braciole appetizer was phenomenal! Deep dish pizza was great too but wife likes pineapples in her pizzas and they don't offer pineapples as topping.. No biggie. I'd go back and try regular thin crust next time.

Nice atmosphere. Kids love it (teens). Food tasty, not bland. Great pineapple martini. A little pricey.

Stopped in for lunch, had a thin crust w/meat balls on all of it and hot gardeniara on 1/2. It was everything I was looking for. If you're on the fence about going, YOU HAVE TO GO AT LEAST ONCE, you won't be disappointed. The inside looks great, can't wait to stop in after are long day at work for a beer sometime. Such a cool place, glad it's here.

Surprisingly solid Italian food in the culinary wastelands known as the Western suburbs. We really like the toasted ravioli nachos and thin crust sausage pizza.

Food is always great but, Service was a bit slow today and it was not busy.

The qaiter was amazing. He greeted us made recommendations immediately but also gave us our space. We were asked if the seating location was acceptable to us due to the pandemic they want to make you feel comfortable.

Great Pizza poor hostess staff. We asked to sit outside and were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We put our name on the wait list and after 30 minutes another couple walks in and asks to be seated outside and they are lead directly outside. I approach the hostess and she apologizes and seats us while explaining that their "text" wasn't sent to notify us that our table was ready (I could smell the B.S excuses she was coming up with). Great pizza but 3 hostesses standing in the front never bothered to ask on us or look into any open tables because they were to busy talking to one another. Why pay 3 hostesses if none of them can do their jobs? Luckily the pizza put a better taste in my mouth than the service.

Just celebrated Christmas Eve with family, food delicious and Marissa our server was outstanding!! We were a large group of 12 and she did not miss a beat. Thank you Marissa and LaBarra for making our Christmas special.

I changed this review to 5 stars after the general manager contacted me. She wanted me to know that they continue to improve their high standards of customer service and invited my party of 7 back to the restaurant. We returned yesterday and was greeted by her as soon as we walked in. Once we settled in at our table we were approached by the waiter who took our drink order. The appetizers and meals that followed were delivered in a timely manner and were excellent. Our waiter was attentive to us throughout. This is customer service at its best! We will return. Thank you Lisa Grzelak for reaching out to me and making this right. Oh and by the way she picked up the tab.

I'm giving this review 2 stars only because of the service we received. We were celebrating my son's birthday, I mentioned this when I made the reservation for 7 people. We were seated promptly and then sat for 20 minutes before our waitress came to greet us and took our drink orders. Then appetizers were ordered along with a large cheese pizza for the table.
While we were waiting for the appetizers we decided to order a few dinner entrees and another small pizza. Finally the appetizers came but not the cheese pizza that was ordered with them. I asked our waitress about this and she said this will be brought with the other entrees.
Finally 90 minutes later our entrees came but still no cheese pizza. I asked her about this. I saw her talking with the manager and the head chef in the kitchen. I finally told her if the pizza hadn't been ordered we no longer want it. By this time we were so fed up and tired of waiting. We had been there almost 2 hours by now. The food is very good but the service we received was horrible.

The food here is really good, but we have had two instances already where we ordered s pizza to go, only to find out when we got home that the crust was burnt.

After 45min wait for a waiter, we just decided to leave, food looked good, we just never got the chance to order it

We went yesterday evening (July 3rd at around 7pm). The lady in the front was pretty friendly and she sat us immediately with no reservation. Once we were seated, after 25 minutes we just left because no one ever came to our table.... one person came (red shirt, guy with blonde hair who just gave us water but he didn't even greet us just took some glasses and left us water very quickly). No one ever came to take our drink order or anything. We left and on our way out what seem to be the manager told us to "have a nice day" .
Never going back. I don't know if it was because they were understaffed or because my husband and I were the only Mexicans in there.... makes you wonder.

Outstanding artisan coal fired pizza! I highly recommend the buratta! The pizza is large and big enough to share... I recommend getting a side of sauce to dip your crust in because the warm, fluffy, and crispy crust is hard to leave behind. Well lit and clean. Great service. The water service is on point! Ample seating and an outdoor patio. Bar is nice sized with 4 tv's and plenty of stool seating! Can't wait to return!

Terrible! Chicken parm was awful. Thin layer of sauce under two pieces of overly fried processed chicken with some mozzarella cheese melted on top.. The only flavor it had was fried. The breading was so thick and over cooked. The lasagna with meat sauce was a joke. Basically noodles and cheese and not very good. Will say the ravioli nachos were good. Service sucked and looked unorganized

We had takeout pizza and weren t impressed. The ingredients were okay, the crust was soggy and had a strange burned plastic flavor. Will go somewhere else for pizza.

Best Margherita Pizza on the planet, very good service great happy hour specials and a really beautiful patio that has a view of the lake.

Loved it!!! The server was TOP NOTCH!!! Food was great! Long Islands extra sour were amazing! Asked for bottled sparkling water and our server (So sorry can't remember your name, bald guy in his late 40s maybe... I couldn't really tell as he wore a mask) went above and beyond digging into the cooler to get us a couple of bottles. Had an amazing dinner with the wifey and kiddos. All happy! Will be back for more! I just hope the same server is there for us.

I have been to La Barra twice, and both times we have had extremely good service. The small plates items are very tasty! The pizza is some of the best in the suburbs. If you are in the area stop in for great service and a very delicious meal! I give La Barra 4.3 stars.

Liked it a lot. Went on Wednesday so it wasn't that busy. Pepper steak was quite good but the peppers and tomatoes were too big. It would have been better if they had cut it into smaller pieces.The almond cake looks amazing but was a bit too sweet for my taste

First time and last but not cuz of the pizza it s the service. I waited a hour which was ok but as soon as we sat down our waiter was so rushed we couldn t ask questions he was actually more worried abt all the other tables but nit us. As soon as the pizza came we had no dishes silverware anything to actually put in the dish and eat with we had to wait and track down someone to get .Manager Julie came by and offered us dessert which we don t eat sweets which was nice of her but probably could it maybe gave us a gift card for next visit that probably would ve been more appropriate and then she just left .I ve been in management and I would never do that to my customers I will make sure they leave Happy and now I made us leave happy they actually never apologized made us more upside even as we left the building the hostess was even mean

La Barra looked promising, but we had a pretty bad experience from start to finish. My wife ordered a glass of wine, and our server brought out a wine glass covered in lint and lipstick. We were never given the bread basket that every other table received. We ordered the burrata and a table runner delivered it without the toasted bread it was suppose to come with, and our server didn't check in with us after it was brought out for 15 minutes. When we finally flagged her down, she said she'd bring it right out but never did. Then our entrees arrived. My wife was given gluten free pasta even though she never asked for it, and my medium steak was completely well done. We decided to call it quits at this point. I told our server we'd like to have my wife's food wrapped and for the steak sent back.

La Barra checks all the boxes. Awesome menu and delicious pizza. The management and staff are friendly and professional The wine list is solid and the bartenders will serve tasty cocktails with a smile.

The hostess and Assisant General Manager are absolutely tops! Waiter was good too. Price was right at our comfort level and the food and ambience were outstanding!

The restaurant was lively and noisy but perfect for a night out catching up with friends. Deep dish pizza was underwhelming, Giordano's is better; go for the thin crust instead. Service was attentive. Would come again

We have been here many times, it gets better and better. If your not happy the staff especially the manager will correct the problem right off. Its hip lively and open spirit.

Delicious scratch made pizza with fresh (rustic?) ingredients. The chefs in the back designed an awesome menu. We loved the deep dish with sausage.. One of the best pies I've had. #foodgasm
